The Flying Harpoon - Kitchen 11-1 Bar 11-2

You are going for the food and service. Not a let down at all. Do not judge a book by its cover. During the day it is very kid friendly, but a bar crowd later. Kids enjoyed a late lunch and drawing things to put up on the wall. We had spicy tuna dip and sliders to start! Awesome! Fried shrimp was great. Definitely be back to this hidden gem!

Very cool intamate atmosphere here. I was impressed by all the customer creative drawings on the walls! The po boys are top-notch, and their home tips were amazing just as advertised! The service was very unique, helpful, and fun. When I return to Gulf Shores this is where I will be!

This Tiny bar has some of the best food you’ll eat on the Gulf Coast. Parking is a premium and forget jamming in there when it full cause it can only handle a Dozen or so patrons at a time.

What a treat . We've been to Gulf Shores but have never stopped at the Flying Harpoon before. The food was really good, we tried several different things and everyone was raving about how good it is. Our first time, won't be our last. Don't go by the looks, it's a hidden gem, you need to check it out.

Likely the best place I've ever eaten. Can't even begin to express how much we enjoyed stopping here. Food, beer, service, atmosphere are all amazing.

Love the Poon! Best food on the island, and most consistent. Bartenders are AMAZING!!! Love and adore ALL of them! Best place to go when you are feeling homesick, everyone becomes family once you walk through the door. Added bonus the view!

Buffalo shrimp are good as well as their potato chips. Really nice staff, she’s very accommodating. Outer sitting available.
