The Folks Сhiado - Specialty Coffee, Breakfast & Brunch

I'm so excited to share my amazing cafe experience! 🤩 The specialty coffee was incredible, perfectly brewed and so flavorful.☕️ And the food? Absolutely delicious! I tried the syrniki and roast beef toast, both were phenomenal. Definitely a must-try if you're looking for a delightful cafe experience. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu. The staff are also Incredible, so friendly, helpful and very welcoming

Hidden gem! Had the tasters set and it was a great way to dry several of their specialty coffees at once. Their espresso was truly exceptional, as was the cappuccino. Didn’t get any good but all the plates around us looked delicious! For non-coffee we tried the homemade cherry lime lemonade and it had a lovely minty finish. Very refreshing and not too sweet. 10/10 would come again!!

Great breakfast! The salmon toast with guac was good and the pancakes with raspberries are amazing. Avocado toast was done differently with fresh beans and herbs, delicious! Topped it off with a pistachio latte, which was amazing. Would recommend!

Great place! We were short on time so could only grab take away. We got the yogurt which was very nice and the chia pudding which was oddly salty and quite bad. I do NOT recommend the chia pudding. The workers were incredibly helpful and made it a great experience even though we were just popping in and out for take away.

We came here drawn by the impressive number of positive reviews. It’s a rather small and cozy spot — in fact, so small that just an hour after opening, there was already a long line forming outside. The food itself was tasty and well-prepared, no complaints there. However, the experience was seriously affected by the service. We had to wait 35 minutes between receiving our coffee and getting our actual meal. In a place of this size, with a relatively limited number of orders to handle, that kind of delay is hard to justify. It felt excessive and really took away from the overall experience. Good food, but the wait left a bad aftertaste. Would only return if the service improves.

Went to both venues, best coffee/cappuccino in Lisbon so far. Everything on the menu tasted very very good, definitely no disappointments there. The eggs, the bowls, drinks, toasts… all excellent. I usually don’t return to the same place when I’m on vacation but here I definitely will 👌🏼

Presentation of food was lovely and the flavours were interesting- I had the cured salmon Benedict. The salmon was like sushi salmon and I hugely preferred this to smoked. Also I loved the pickled onions in my Benedict. However everyone thought the slaw on the side of all the dishes is hard to eat and lacks flavour. The staff were not hugely friendly- so low rating mainly for that reason. Coffee was good though.

Our server Caterina was lovely☺️ the place was buzzing and we had to queue for a little bit. I had the scrambled eggs - great value for money and I couldn’t finish it all. My boyfriend had the turkey Benedict and loved it. Thumbs up!
