Visiting family in White Heart North Dakota. Sister said go catch some breakfast in Tioga. Couldn't find an open breakfast place. Google Maps said the closest was 18 miles away. We went. Drove into the lovely little town of Powers Lake. A little red, horse stable looking building beckoned us into its gravel parking lot. Walked past the front counter into a simple, clean dining room, wooden tables, no tablecloths and ordered the best breakfast I've had since I last made my own. No, better than that. Hash browns from real, large grated, potatoes with ham, onions, green peppers, and cheese, a couple of over medium eggs (fully cooked whites with wonderfully runny yolks) and a small pancake (because the sweet waitress said the large pancake filled a large dinner plate and the cook, her mom, didn't know how to make anything small. My brother had a full breakfast with sausage links and a nice, consistently warmed up, cup of Java. The meals were large and the price wasn't. I was so pleased, with the service and the food, that I left an almost 50% tip. Sorry no pictures, but don't let the outside fool you when you pull up to eat
