The Forest Lodge Resort Pemberton WA

The setting of the lodge is genuinely charming — the forest, the birds, the sense of nature… it all has incredible potential. Unfortunately, the experience was seriously affected by one major issue: loud music playing from 8:30am to 9pm, including outside near rooms 6 and 7. I came to a forest lodge expecting peace, nature and relaxation. Instead, I felt obliged to listen to beat-heavy music all day long. It breaks the atmosphere completely. Guests choose this kind of accommodation specifically to escape noise, not to have a speaker blasting outside their room. What’s most disappointing is that this problem is so easily avoidable. Simply let the natural environment do its work — the birds alone create a beautiful ambience, far better than any playlist. When I raised the issue, the response made it feel like the problem was mine to deal with, as if paying guests should just accept discomfort. That attitude added to the frustration. The lodge is beautiful and full of potential, but this one choice (and the way it is handled) genuinely ruins the stay. I hope management reconsiders it, because the place could truly be wonderful if guests were allowed to enjoy the peace they came for.

Location was good, close to everything what we needed. Atmosphere is so calm and relaxed. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Value is good. We had a wonderful time at the resort. We will def repeat that. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful place and your hospitality.

Great place to stay on a nice trip through the countryside. It's quiet and peaceful with lots of birds and kangaroos on the property. Going for a walk around the dam, or a walk to the Gloucester tree from the Lodge is highly recommended with all the greenery around! They also have their own restaurant, Chefingos, where they serve a mix of German and Asian cuisine. I tried the grilled marron which the staff told me was freshly caught from the dam! Well, it didnt disappointed, kudos to the chef for a lovely dinner. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back on our next trip trough the countryside.

Very charming midle sized cottage in the wood. Cosy hampton style restaurant with wood fire pit and piano.

Wonderful spot in the south west. Amazing food at the restaurant. It's not cheap but to my mind at least well worth it. We only had one night here but highly recommend it. Ingos was even kind enough to share some of his culinary skills with me.

The location is just amazing. Beautiful lake surrounded by stunning trees. Take time to explore the grounds and walk close to the kangaroos and other wildlife. |Rooms are fairly simple but beautifully clean and comfortable. |Make sure you try the on site restaurant where we enjoyed a superb evening meal.

Beautiful surroundings, fantastic menu, equally great wine list and very nice people/waiters/maitre D. You can tell that Ingo has a passion for gastronomy and an innovative menu, including local trout and marron. Everything on the menu was well considered and the portions were large enough to fill me completely after a morning of fly fishing. I wanted to lick the plate clean! We've only been back home for 6 days and I've just booked accommodation and meals at the restaurant for a long weekend of gluttony, deliciousness and rest. Best menu and wine list I've seen in Australia in years.....2nd only to Moo Moo's in Brisbane in my opinion.

What a wonderful experience my wife & I had staying in a chalet for 2 days. The grounds were magnificent & the lake was a delight to walk around. Accomodation was very clean & homely. The restaurant is a must do, as the food is simply delicious & the wait staff are very friendly along with the owner on the front desk.|I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Pemberton WA.
