Google
The made my day!! I suddenly found this place, walking down the street and just got a seat. Appreciate server Jamie 🫶 She has a great attitude, knows what to suggest and was very sweet in general! The food was great! Fresh&healthy! Loved it! Highly recommend as they have GF options

Google
Cozy brick interior and fantastic food! It's a small space, so seating can be an issue and reservations are recommended for dinner. A small selection of beers on tap and some interesting mixed drinks, but everything on the food menu is worth a try! The burgers come highly recommended and the wings are fantastic. We also loved the brussel sprouts.

Google
I cannot recommend this place enough!!!! Absolutely everything is delicious. The Duck Duck Goose burger is so unique and to die for!!!! My friend ordered the Beet salad and it was huge. She had more than enough to take home for another meal. The portions are more than generous even for kids meals. This place isn’t the biggest and is very popular but we walked right in and sat down for lunch.

Google
First time visiting this place. It had a nice atmosphere, which had a cozy and rustic look about it. We sat at the bar and ordered food and drinks. Our food was delicious! Brussel sprouts was our favorite item. But the sandwiches we ordered were very good as well. Service was great! Prices were very reasonable.

Google
Bailey the bartender gave exceptional service, knew the menu & drinks inside & out & we took her recommendations. The food plates going by that look food photo worthy were their gigantic cheeseburgers & wings. I would not recommend the rattlesnake bites because my mouth was filled with grease & i had to drain it into a napkin, but thr rest was suburb.

We loved Fork n Cork. We visited last week while on vacay on Wilmington. The Brussels sprouts appetizer blew us away! It was huge, and truly scrumptious! The rendered duck fat really elevated this dish. I absolutely LOVED The Wellington bites; they were awesome! The cutest and most delish individual puff pastry wrapped bites of Beef Wellington, yum. While my husband is still telling everyone he speaks to about the chicken and waffles he enjoyed!! Service was fantastic, a young gentleman with a beautiful natural afro was our server. (Sorry I am terrible with names, but wanted to mention, bc I am hoping he will get recognized for a stellar job) He was great, made us feel so welcome and comfortable. He was knowledgeable about the menu and helped us make some fun drink choices, that would actually complement our meals. We usually try to eat somewhere different every meal while on Vacay, so we can try many new spots. We ate here night 2. Everything was so great that every meal for the next 3 days, my husband would say we should go back to Fork n Cork 😆 This really is such a cool place with a classy but slightly fun quirky vibe. We Liked all the fun, & tasty spins on traditional foods, that all looked amazing. We will surely try some of them next year, when we will definitely be returning.

Google
Get ready for everything to be served in shareable portions. The food here was all high quality, thoughtfully created and tasted amazing. The staff were so helpful and we had many different folks check in on us which made it seem like they were all invested in us having a good experience, which we did! Side note - I'm a massive fan of poutine and this gravy was not it for me. It tasted like stuffing and was pretty thick. If that's your thing though, it would be amazing.

Google
Took a chance after coming in from the airport. Food was great and nice ice cold beer. Had the Brisket-Mac-n-Cheese, let me tell you it was epic ! Friend had the Nashville Fried chicken sandwich also terrific! Nice place to eat , chat and catch up.

Yelp
Tiny restaurant big flavor! We arrived on a Monday afternoon to a packed house. We put our name on a list and were quickly seated as soon as a table was open. The staff here is really friendly. I ordered the Cobb salad. The fried chicken tenders on top were the star of the show but everything, including the blue cheese dressing was fresh and tasty. Schweety really loved the Rueben with fries. It was so big he took half home! Loved everything about this place

Yelp
Food was decent and it came out quickly. The server was not the friendliest. The building is way too small. They need 3 to 4 times the space they currently have. The bar takes up way too much space. I saw them turn away customers 30 minutes before closing time.

Yelp
Five star burgers, two star fries (either it was an off night or they need a fry consultant). Good cocktails, solid beer list, and friendly & attentive service.

Yelp
The restaurant is a bit small, but very accommodating. We were greeted with a smile and the service was outstanding. The table was checked on by the wait staff, and our server made multiple rounds to ensure everything was to our liking. They have a broad menu ranging from lunch to brunch, and each item was delicious. I had a bite of morning potatoes and the brisket biscuit. Simple and perfect

Yelp
There's a reason this place was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives - it's simply amazing! It definitely is a dive with a small handful of tables and some bar seating. When my husband and I entered, an employee ushered us immediately to two open seats at a bar. Service was quick and friendly! We were in and out in an hour. I ordered the Hot Mess burger with an upgraded side of macaroni & cheese. Blue cheese belongs on burgers and this didn't disappoint! The mac & cheese was a great side too. My husband got The Big Lew with an upgraded side of onion rings (not pictured). The onion rings were breaded & fried the perfect amount. I loved this place and it should be a can't miss on your list in Wilmington!

Yelp
If you're in the area and hungry for something exceptional The Fork n Cork is a must try! From the moment I walked in the inviting atmosphere and attentive service set the tone for a great meal. Here's the breakdown: I started with the fried pickles, which were perfectly fried and reminded me of crispy potato wedges. They came with their homemade ranch dressing let me tell you this ranch is on another level. Possibly the best I've ever tasted. Ranch enthusiasts, you've been warned! Next up was the toasted crab bread a delightful combination of warm cheesy garlic bread topped with cool creamy crab dip paired with their homemade marinara sauce. It's like they took a seafood favorite and gave it a warm comforting twist. For the main course I couldn't resist their famous Hot Mess Burger with fries and the appropriately named Not a Burger with fries. These aren't your average burgers they're massive, juicy, and packed with flavor. And let's not overlook the fries perfectly cut fried to golden perfection and just begging to be devoured. I decided to upgrade one order of fries to their classic poutine and it was a decision I'll never regret. It's indulgent, satisfying, and worth every bite. Though the restaurant isn't huge I found a seat at the bar where the bartender delivered excellent and attentive service. The portions here are no joke come hungry or bring a friend to share. Pro tip: Paid parking is conveniently located right next to the restaurant for $12 a day. After your meal take a short stroll to the nearby river boardwalk to walk off some of those well-earned calories. All in all The Fork n Cork delivers on every front food, service, and atmosphere. This spot isn't just a restaurant it's an experience. Highly recommend!

Yelp
A girlfriend and I came in to try the special burger for burger week- the Apple Pie burger. It sounded like a crazy combo, and it was and it worked!! It was like dinner and dessert in one dish and it was amazing!!! I also had the brussel sprouts for my side which are also amazing. Awesome meal, even sitting at the end of the bar.

Yelp
We really likes this place! The best burger and brisket fries! Staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations. The atmosphere is very nice as well! We are going back in the morning for brunch!

Yelp
Excellent food with a friendly staff. Small space but well worth the wait with huge delicious portions!

Yelp
My wife, 2 teenage sons, and I enjoyed lunch here after a historical walking tour of Wilmington, NC in late March 2024. Lots of pluses. First, the fried chicken on salad (with avocado slices) was delightful! You can't go wrong with the fried chicken dishes here. Second, the portions are generous if you're especially hungry. Third, this place has a wide selection of local craft beers - and gives you an opportunity to try various IPAs. There were only 2 minuses. First, it felt rather crowded inside the small pub-like restaurant so we decided to sit at an outdoor table. This is not a place if you're feeling claustrophobic. Second, eating outside meant that our server came out later than expected (service felt rather slow). Not a big deal, but I would not eat here if you're in a rush during peak lunch hours. Overall, this is a classic "Southern lunch spot" that will be enjoyed by the family.

Yelp
My wife and two young kids had the best experience at The Fork n Cork yesterday for lunch! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the lovely staff and they quickly understood that we needed accommodations for little ones. We also were greeted in a wonderful manner. They seated us and provided high chairs. Cameron our server was wonderful also. The food was excellent and I highly recommend The Lew Burger!

Yelp
Out of this world! There's no wonder why it was featured on Food Network's Diners Drive Ins & Dives. Incredible food and flavor combinations! Chef & Co-Owner, Justin, took the time to come out and talk with us about his menu and the journey that brought him here. He even gifted me some pretty epic ghost pepper finishing salt. Thank you, Chef! Justin and his team put so much love into this restaurant and the food they serve. Special shout out to Kendall for taking great care of us! Seriously y'all... everything on the menu is incredible.

Kacie D.

Yelp
Small space, maybe a handful of tables and small bar with seating. We had a half hr wait, but the wait was well worth it. It's likely best to have a reservation if possible. Their burgers and fries hit, will be returning.
google avatar

Yelp
Good food. Nice service. Reasonable prices. Nice selection of pub food. Some with a twist.

Yelp
The fork n cork was a solid spot! We were in town for the weekend and were able to sit right away around 6:30 on a Thursday night. The burgers were a little over cooked (I asked for medium and it was more well done) but really flavorful and HUGE!!! We also got the fried Brussels app which was flavorful and delicious! Highly recommend dipping your fries in their homemade ranch too!
google avatar

Theresa M.

Yelp
Food was excellent - portions are large. Two people easily split the salad with salmon.
google avatar

Yelp
It had been a couple years since I went there. Specifically went there for the classic poutine that I had my first time going. It's a very, very small restaurant, expect to wait. The poutine gravy was coagulated and looked repulsive. We took one bite and asked the server what was up with the gravy. They attempted to say that was how it was... to which I quickly sent them back to the kitchen. Our entrees were mediocre at best. Would not return.
google avatar

Jennifer F.

Yelp
Poutine is out of this world! Wish they had more seating- get there early because usually a wait

Yelp
Absolutely amazing hole in the wall! Service was great! Food was amazing! We are fried pickle addicts and these are top three we've ever had! Rattlesnake bites were amazing. Brussels are a definite! Everything we had was great! And portions are great!
google avatar

Trudy M.

Yelp
Excellent service and food, but a lot of it! Should have shared a plate. Not a lot of seating so better to come at an off time. My husband had the duck duck goose burger and really enjoyed it. I had chicken and biscuits, way too much food for one person! The Brussels sprouts were excellent.

Doug H.

Yelp
One of my favorites. Neat old tavern with great staff. Not a lot of seats but don't let that deter you. The food is amazing. Try the fried pickles. All app and entree portions are extraordinary! Great drink menu and a few nice local craft brews. And that Guy has visited there too.
google avatar

Peter A.

Yelp
One damn good burger. (With a gluten free bun option) I also had the beef Wellington sliders which are definitely worth a try!
google avatar

Ty A.

Yelp
Excellent food, massive quantities for the price. Drinks are as expected for a small bar. Superb service. Only downside is that the inside is a bit small.
google avatar

Joshua B.

Yelp
I ordered the Big Lew for lunch. A classic bacon burger with fries on the side. The fries were super crisp and tasty. I didn't even need the dipping sauce. The burger is huge and delicious. A genuine mouthful with every bite. Good service. Excellent sweet tea. Limited seating indoors (I sat at the bar), they do have a quaint sidewalk seating area.

Horse W.

Yelp
got the Gravy Poutane to start YUM had brisket on top a full meal in itself, but with a table of 6 it disappeared rather quickly. then i got the beet salad, one at the table got the peanut butter burger, and the Mess burger (whatever that was) I don't remember what everyone else had but boy o boy it was all gone by the time we left. clean plate club. When touristing in this town I recommend this place if your looking for something extra...
google avatar

Debbie G.

Yelp
Hats off to Fork n Cork. Service is outstanding and the food is incredible. A fantastic atmosphere, the portions are crazy . The salad's are amazing and the Burgers are mouth watering. I can't say enough about the chicken other than phenomenal. Homemade Mac and Cheese need I say more.
google avatar

Yelp
I can't even begin to tell you that this place is a gem! I can eat here every single day and not get tired of it. It's not very big inside and seating is somewhat limited. I suggest you get here early! The ambiance is very warm, cozy, romantic and relaxing! It's not loud by any means. If you are in town visiting I highly recommend you come and enjoy some of the best food! I can't wait to go back! The service is top notch and staff is very helpful if you need to ask questions with regard to the menu.

Peaches's G.

Yelp
The hospitality there is a low quality and they don't check on you or give you refills after I eat there one time I came home and vomited and vomited and vomited. I would never eat there again.
google avatar

Todd Z.

Yelp
Really good food. We all had burgers and they were delicious. Only downside was staff was swamped so service was a little bit and miss but I give the staff an A for effort. It wasn't for lack of trying. Plus they had to close down the kitchen right after we finished. Not sure if something broke (like waterline or something in the kitchen) Will go back for another Meal
google avatar

Nicole M.

Yelp
Downtown Wilmington restaurant. Street parking only. Limited seating so be mindful of when you go. Food is absolutely incredible. Ate at the bar. Duck burger was life changing. Fast bar service. Friendly staff. Restaurant felt loved and like people enjoyed coming there. I would go back if I was in the area. They do have a phone waiting list so you can check in, shop around, and then get a ping for dinner which was super nice. We were seated much faster than the wait they provided
google avatar

Elisha C.

Yelp
Really lovely servers whose quality customer service matched the awesome almost rustic downtown atmosphere. Highly recommend for a laid back visit in Downtown Wilmington. Food hit the spot. You've got to try!
google avatar

Jessica D.

Yelp
The food is DELICIOUS!! I had the salmon sandwich and fries! You never would've thought it would be as good as it was but it was! Cute atmosphere and amazing service! Will definitely return when I go back to Wilmington.
google avatar

Yelp
First time to Wilmington and we decided to eat at the Fork & Cork. The restaurant has a nice bar and seven to eight inside tables. In addition, they had two outside tables. The placed was full to capacity on a Wednesday evening. We had to wait a 25 minutes for a table to open up. We sat outside and ordered a goat cheese beet salad for an app. The salad was delicious. I had the Hot Mess Chicken sandwich for dinner. The sandwich was delicious. The roll was perfect. The best part of the dining experience were their Old Fashion's. If you are in the downtown area, check out this great spot.
google avatar

Shelli F.

Yelp
Food was pretty bad. Our meals were cold and not fresh. Burger was too salty and well done.
google avatar

Davis P.

Yelp
We needed a late night dinner on a Monday and this was the only place open. Due to the the time of night, we had no issues finding parking. You can best describe the interior as a bar with tables. The wait staff were friendly yet you can tell Monday are their slow night. It did appear to be a local favorite as you could tell the people at the bar were regulars. We quickly saw why because the lamb burger I had with homemade tzatziki sauce was great. Even though it says "plain" mac&cheese as a side item, there was nothing plain about it. I was pleasantly surprised by this place.
google avatar

Tracey W.

Yelp
Liked this place a lot. First, they're open Mondays when SO many other good restaurants are closed. Thanks FnC! We were greeted by friendly wait staff and took a seat. It was 3 pm...our eating schedule was all messed up so we were also grateful to find great food at that hour. Although FnC is known for giant sandwiches and burgers and just generally awesome well-crafted casual fare, we needed something healthy and raw. We ordered a burger made with a vegan patty, a side of amazing Brussels sprouts cooked in duck fat ands giant garden salad. Everything was fresh and the recipes were fantastic with all sauces and dressings made in-house. General servings of everything. My husband had a beer, and we noticed a good selection of beer and a full bar. Didn't ask about wines. If I'm in Wilmington again, this is definitely in my go-to list.
google avatar

Jay S.

Yelp
Great spot downtown. Small place but very cool ambience. Service was great. Burgers and Wings were on point and my daughter had the brisket sandwich which was excellent. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
I was excited to try this place based on reviews. I ordered the Lamb Burger and asked for medium rare. The burger came well done, under-seasoned, and lacked structural integrity. The burger fell apart while I was eating it! I usually finish my burgers and this was the first time that I didn't finish a burger. It tasted bland and overdone! Needless to say, I was quite disappointed. Rate 2/5 The onion rings had a nice kick to it and I liked that it was crunchy. Slightly too much batter for my taste. Rate 3.5/5 The pontine was cheesy and delicious. Well seasoned and would recommend trying. Rate 4/5. Portions were huge. Service was good. Place was small and had limited seating. Overall, I do not recommend Fork n' Cork.
google avatar

Daniela Z.

Yelp
What a little gem of a spot! It was easy to get seating on a Friday night despite it being a full house, the energy was uplifting, food was great, and the service was great too! I still can't believe how massive our fried pickles appetizer was hahaha. And I appreciate them having INTERESTING veggie burgers and not your boring old black bean burger - mine was actually a chickpea patty and so delicious; I also could only eat half. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Joshua H.

Yelp
Seems like a great place that was probably good when it first opened and now the kitchen can't recreate the recipes. Everything came out dry and overly cooked. Outrageous prices for low standards. We might give it another try and see if it was the dishwasher filling in for the head chef when we went.
google avatar

Kris H.

Yelp
All in all good but imho, not like it used to be, don't get me wrong it's good, just not great, scotch egg had so much potential, 4/5 . Crab Bread 2/5 l. Ambience 4/5. Service 3.5/5. 4 but wish they had a 3.5 star.
google avatar

Richard G.

Yelp
This is a very comfortable little (yeah, it's small so think about that in your planning) bar that feels like a tavern. All the folks were very friendly, so no chain-level service here. On to the food: I had a mushroom Swiss burger which was very well dressed, cooked correctly, with a weird local touch where the mayo was on the BOTTOM of the bun. Or was that just a mistake? Anyway, impossible to pick up that mess with your hands, which really doesn't detract from the taste of the burger. I didn't think the beef itself was five stars so hence the ranking. Onion rings were five stars, however. My wife had the beet salad which honestly could have fed three people. I'd suggest to Fork/Cork that they offer a 1/2 portion. Appropriate beer selection as well. I recommend that you try it out. In the end, my wife wasn't vibing on the place but I would definitely go back.

Yelp
Sad experience. came here for a casual date night. Ordered the Fonduta cheese app to start. It was okay, very heavy. Loaded with oil and honey. We then split the lamb burger. it came out slopped over a mushy bun you couldn't even pick up. Tiziki splattered on side. We told our server and he said he would tell the kitchen to re-make. Said they were "off" that night. Told him not to bother. We were hungry and didn't want to wait another half hour. Figured he would take it off the bill since he took the burger back. Nope. Paid full price. Sorry won't be back.

Yelp
I visited the Fork n Cork while in Wilmington last Tuesday evening for a combination of pleasure and business trip. I met several family and friends and was pleased with the overall decor and vibe. It is a small but comfortable restaurant. It does not feel crowded. Service was prompt, and our waitress was attentive. The orders at our table were the Duck burger, American burger, Carolina Burger, and a pastrami sandwich plate. I ordered the Carolina Burger. The size looked good and I sliced it to pick it up. Mistake. It was so soggy I could not lift it. I had to eat with a fork. Not the end of the world and this didn't upset me much. But, it is the worst burger I have ever ordered. Seriously. The meat patty fell apart. - and not in a good way. It was like eating an undercooked meatloaf. If the meat tasted better I could have handled it, but it was not good. Did I complain? No. I did not feel comfortable with family there and did not want to cause a problem. Later, I asked my wife how her American burger was, She said the same thing! She said the meat was very undercooked and fell apart.
google avatar

Todd R.

Yelp
An eclectic menu coupled with good service resulted in a very enjoyable meal here the other night. During my visit, I decided to eat a bit on the lighter side so I chose a dinner salad. The salad I received was absolutely enormous and I was still eating it days later. Nevertheless, it was very good and I would definitely recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Always awesome food and good service. One of our go-tos in Wilmington. Hamburgers and fries rule.
google avatar

Christopher M.

Yelp
Great food, creatively presented by helpful and enthusiastic staff. I had the Duck Duck Go Burger, which was delicious, along with one of the IPAs on tap. Busy on a Sunday afternoon, which told me we weren't the first to discover this gem of little restaurant!

Allen B.

Yelp
Dropped in to get a lamb burger from what was one of our favorite places. The photo tells the story! Requested that feta be removed and instead both burgers were lathered in feta. Do better!!! Yes, this is what you get when you go to place an order 30 minutes prior to closing. Too late to return it. Come on man!

Yelp
Everything was DELICIOUS!!! Bartender and staff were great , friendly, and patient!! We might try the weekend brunch before heading back to Texas.
