The Founder’s Memorial

It's nice to visit for a couple of minutes to take a photo. But, I strongly recommend visiting at night, as it transforms into a romantic scene. It has an Arabic coffee shop named "The Bench Cafe," low lights, and people are very quiet. Along with the park, trees, etc., the atmosphere is completely romantic. It's also nice to go with friends to relax.

It’s a beautiful monument with a nice view. I highly suggest you pop into the indoor area where they explain and show you how this monument was done and what engineering went behind it and then actually go see it, it becomes more impressive that way. To enter to see it it’s free, they also have toilets in there. Google maps for some reason is guiding you to emirates palace entry instead of the monument. There is free parking available to the left of the monument. If you in the area then it’s worth to pass by, also the monument is more spectacular evening time when it’s dark and the lights are on.

Nice site toe visit. Particularly at night! One advice: this is at walking distance from Qasr al Watan Palace so you can do it on the way back after the light show. This location is worth visiting at night and to be viewed from different angles. I recommend going there!

It's a beautiful monument and memorial. Quite a nice park. Nice place to visit. There is a great view of Etihad Towers from this place. It's extremely clean and well looked after. A lot of greenery and flowers. It's not something I would recommend visiting on its own if it's not on your way. But, definitely stop by if you are nearby.
