The Fourth Monkey Cocktail Bar & Grill

We had a bit of a bumpy start to our dinner, but I really want to highlight how kind the staff were. When we arrived, they were very helpful in moving us to our preferred seating area once available. We did have a bit of a mix-up with the ordering process and a forgotten entree, which meant a long wait for our mains. This was a little tough with two hungry young children in tow! However, when the food did arrive, it was absolutely delicious and enjoyed by the whole family. To top it off the staff were incredibly apologetic and brought out two complimentary desserts. It was a very sweet gesture that turned the night around for us. We appreciated the effort to make amends and would definitely give them another try.

We have visited on a few occasions now and every time the food has been next level delicious. I don’t know what kind of magic powers the chef has, but the flavours and textures are so well balanced. The servers were very attentive and efficient. The whole vibe is fun - very piratey, lots of cool stuff to look at. I’m not into booze but the cocktail menu looks pretty exciting for those who do like alcohol. Plenty of places to sit inside and out in the garden. There are intimate areas for date night and open areas for groups. We will be back for sure.

OMGG this place is INCREDIBLE. On the hallowed grounds of a once beautiful west end stalwart Three Monkeys Cafe, these guys absolutely do not disappoint in the slightest. I had the MASSIVE T-bone and i went into he experience like a trip, came out the other side energised, perfectly full, my tongue bursting with flavour, wow. These guys are artists. Do yourself a favour and experience this please. They also have free movie night on Wednesdays. Thanks Fourth Monkey ❤️✨🙌

Really enjoyed our meals one of the best steaks I have ever had. Staff were super friendly and I loved the layout of the place. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere and food definitely carries this place, otherwise it would be 2/5 Stars. This is due to our personal experience and the service just wasn't there. The food overall was quite good, nothing to ride home about. It's hard to recommend this place, as unfortunately we won't be back anytime soon or even at all. Perhaps at night the vibe/service might be better.

Cevapi and the t-bone steak were cooked perfectly. Lahmacun was crazy good as well, even tho it has nothing to do with the original lahmacun. Atmosphere is very cozy and intimate. Would definitely come back!!

Went there for dinner with my mother. Was blown away. This place is the perfect example of a true hidden gem. Will definitely be coming back

Great atmosphere and amazing service. Plenty of different seating arrangements to suit your mood. They have onsite toilets which is always convienient when drinking. Loses a star because their specialty whiskey/bourbon-based cocktails are lacking. Better options here if you prefer rum and gin. Also, they impose a small surcharge on card transactions. Almost everyone today pays with card, so they should just do what all the other places are doing these days and set a proper, honest and transparent menu price that includes the assumed card payment processing costs and do away with all the silly back-end surcharges, similar to what every business already does with GST. They could always choose instead to offer a discount to the few customers who still pay with cash. Overall, a great and unique little bar if you aren't keen on having whiskey.
