The Fox Grove Inn

Excellent service and lovely for small & medium sized crowd for pool access, family lunch and dinners. The villas are comfortable with fresh ocean breeze and close to the main parlour with billards, darts, dominoes with the Praslin beach within 20 minutes walking distance.

This is amazing value - a real gem in such an idyllic location. I cannot recommend highly enough. Esther and the team were all so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic family holiday (2 teenagers) in the 2 bed apartment which was perfect, breezy and spacious with only the sounds of insects (and the occasional tropical rainfall). We mostly had the pool to ourselves and played pool in the hotel bar most evenings (the rum punch!) We did eat in the restaurant (lovely fish) but we also enjoyed shopping locally - fruit from the roadside. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and you can stroll out past mango trees, banana palms and other exotic fruit trees just down the lane. Was thrilled to see a hummingbird at breakfast on the first day. A perfect base to explore the nature of St Lucia. We hired a car and did zip-wiring at Treetops, DesCartier Rainforest Trail (parrots, freshwater crabs!), Roseau Rum Distillery, Castries markets, Mamiku Gardens & climbed Gros Piton. We combined a week here with a week on a beach doing watersports and would highly recommend the combination. Thank you Esther for such a memorable holiday. Janet & family

Spent a relaxing 7 days here, part of a group. One thing people booking should be aware of is that the rooms in the main building are not air conditioned, there is a ceiling fan - fine for me though. As the rooms are south facing they do get hot. Hospitality is wonderful, Esther looked after our needs all week and we were served delicious breakfasts and evening meals. Menu options available for lunch, the Mamiku delight salad is recommended. Rooms cosy and clean. Great swimming pool for a refreshing swim.

Beautiful location, very good food and a most helpful Esther in charge. We stayed for eight days and though on the ‘wrong’ side of the island found we could easily drive to Castres or Soufriere.||This is a small hotel in terms of numbers and is recommended for people not wanting to lie on the beach. Some good walks nearby.||No a/c but the fans were fine while we were there in January.

We spent a week at the Fox Grove Inn enjoying the beautiful, quiet location on the Atlantic side of the island. ||Esther and her team provide a thoughtful,friendly welcome in a relaxed Caribbean setting.||The food was well prepared and the rum punch in particular to be recommended.||Our room with a balcony was spacious and with screens on the windows and a ceiling fan always a comfortable temperature.||The grounds were well maintained and great for spotting humming birds. The swimming pool, never crowded was a delight with beautiful views down to the bay. ||Overall a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the real world.

One of the best spots on the entire island. Even if you don't stay here, please come to eat and experience the wonderful hospitality and incredible views. Esther and Franz are two of the kindest and most accommodating people I have met and their offerings are phenomenal!

You must stay here. Include meals in your stay. Franz and Ester treat you like family. As this is a small hotel with no children it is very peaceful. All the staff are fun and helpful. Good pool and local walks. Ester can arrange all your activities and taxis and is attentive to detail. She will even give you a lift if she can. A true hidden treasure for recharging your batteries and experiencing St Lucia at its best and savour Franz's superb cooking.

We stayed at Fox Grove Inn for 6 nights in Feb/Mar 2019. We were advised of this location by Motmot travel and it was everything they said. Quiet and relaxing with lovely service. The food was excellent, the rooms comfortable and clean. It is not, nor does it pretend to be luxurious but it is homely, welcoming and very very relaxing. One night we were the only guests and often we would have the substantial swimming pool all to ourselves. We met some lovely people also staying here. Thoroughly recommended.
