Disappointed on a Special Occasion. My wife and I booked a king-size room a month in advance to celebrate our 10-year anniversary and attend a live show nearby. We were really looking forward to a relaxing stay, but unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. When we arrived to check in, we were told our reserved room was no longer available. The only option left was a room with two queen beds—definitely not what we had in mind for a romantic getaway. I asked if there was any kind of discount or compensation, but was told the two queens actually cost more and there was nothing they could do. The room itself was fine, but the experience left a sour taste. When you reserve a specific room type well in advance, you expect it to be honored. Otherwise, what’s the point of booking ahead? This could be a decent hotel under normal circumstances, but I wouldn’t recommend it for special occasions unless they improve how they handle reservations and customer service.

Just Amazing

Google
What happened to this place?!? It went down sooo bad. The rooms are extremely dirty, wallpaper falling off, water drips on walls. You’re a multimillionaire place and you have it like this? You should be ashamed. Front desk is amazing and that’s it! Step your game up

Google
Great quieter location with an outdoor pool and jacuzzi in the summer. It's livelier at Grand pequot tower which is a 15 minute walk to the other side of the casino. However, concert events are held at this location. There is an arcade, top golf and bowling alley at Fox tower also.

Google
We came to celebrate my birthday but was shocked to a disappointment. We were given a room and I noticed a thong (underwear) on the corner of the bed. Housekeeping supervisor, Margaret, came to just picked it up and stated “otherwise the room looks clean to me!” and never offered a quick change or vacuum even though I stated I am not comfortable. She then told us to go to main desk and speak to a staff member. So disappointed! We were late to our reservation and had to use a bell service just to gather and move to another room, at after 11pm.

Google
This is my favorite tower to stay at when I'm at Foxwoods, but it may not be yours. The good: nice decor in rooms, modern conveniences, great views on upper floors, quieter lobby area and quicker valet service. The bad: most restaurants (the best ones) are a good five minute walk away as are the bulk of the casino games and slots. If you can afford to spring for the Director Suite you will get an amazing room with a great bathroom (nice shower and jetted tub), huge closet, and a separate living room with a second TV, desk, and mini-fridge. But even the regular rooms are very nice here. I actually have a specific fave room (that's how much I've stayed here). High floor, even numbers have the best views.

Veronica Collins

Google
Five stars for Angie at the front desk (I believe that’s her name) for being so extremely helpful to my grandmother & I while checking in. Informative, polite, and fast service from all staff! I’ve been coming here with my family for over a decade, and my only complaint would be price inflation lol.

Google
The hotel is not bad decent rooms but last stay security was called on people in next room due to partying at 2am load music and a fight broke out as well as doors being kicked so we didn't sleep most the night. we was offered a free up grade on next visit and here we are and they said the manager from that night no longer works here so we can't honor it. so that is very disappointing at the least.

Google
The room was nice. We did have to have housekeeping come clean the bathroom as it had been skipped when the room was being cleaned. Room was very spacious. My husband and I had a very relaxing night away.

Yelp
Fox Tower is where Foxwoods usually does Cocktail carnival. I've been to this event 3 times. I missed 1 time b/c of work. It was the 4th annual one. I quit drinking so I really came for the music (live dj),food(you get 1 free item w/ your entry which is new),carnival games, fortune teller(free), & prizes. You get a little cup where you taste different spirits from numerous booths from 2-5:30(last pour).Moet & Hennessy were my fave. It was a good vibe. I was a little bummed that it basically had the same performers as all the other years. I would like something fresh & new. Unfortunately, my food wasn't good. I ordered the chicken & waffles. It came w/ Cole slaw.Chicken & waffles were dry & overcooked. Cole slaw was dry. I think the food had been sitting there for a while. They put a splash of syrup on the waffles (which I thought was absurd). I drown my waffles w/ syrup. I'm more of a pancakes kind of girl but they always pair chicken w/ the waffles(waffles had bacon in them). My bf's food looked more tasty. He ordered steak & cheese on a baked potato. I didn't taste it b/c it was premade w/ onions. I do not like onions at all(I know I know I'm a strange woman lol). Fortune teller was on point w/ my reading. I won a t-shirt & cap w/ my tickets from playing carnival games. I played drop zone, basketball, & the ring toss game. All the other lines were too long. I really enjoyed myself. Fox tower is my fave part of Foxwoods. I have stayed at the hotel many times!Foxwoods is my fave casino in Ct.! I def will be back!

Yelp
Still waiting in line to check in. Over a 45 minute wait to checkin with inconsistent checkin staff. There were 3, then 2 left while there is a long line. Seems like a poor customer service for a $400 a night hotel. I've had faster and better service at holiday inn!

Yelp
It is a nice hotel for a staycation in CT. The rooms are modern, clean and great view depending on which side you're facing. My view was of the trees. It was amazing! We stay at the Fox Tower because of their modern rooms. It's close to the Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods. Plenty of restaurants near the hotel. So much to do at Foxwoods other than gambling. Valet parking is great.

Yelp
Had a blast at the cocktail carnival at the premiereball room. We had a great time here. Alot of alcohol to sample, great music, great vibes, and some interesting food like bacon with chocolate peanut butter Chipotle straps! We also had chicken and waffles and a loaded baked potato. I was happy to be part of this event and would definitely attend it again. The facility was very clean, too. We always have a good time coming to foxwoods and would recommend anyone it to anyone.

Yelp
My favorite hotel at Foxwoods! While it isn't the best location on the property (that's the Grand Pequot) and is a bit of a walk to many of the restaurants, it's absolutely worth it. The rooms are clean and incredible, with floor to ceiling windows and the best views. My husband and I stayed here for New Year's Eve and it was perfection. Plus, Junior's is right downstairs - the best spot for breakfast. We hope to be back again in March for my husband's birthday. If we can make it, we'll be staying here.

Yelp
This has been one of the most unprofessional stays to date. Asked for an extension on the room until 2. Was told the keys would work until 12. Went back to the room at 1155 the keys didn't work. Had to go downstairs and wait in line 20 minutes with only 2 ppl working. Asked the guy downstairs why it didn't work and he looked lost. Wasted 25 minutes in total out of the 2 extra hours that cost $50 dollars. Very unprofessional

Yelp
We booked the director suite so we could enjoy the jacuzzi tub with a view. When we got to the room I went to scope things out. The tub had multiple hairs and dried soap stains. I called the front desk and let them know we were headed out for dinner if they could send someone up to clean since it didn't look touched. We got back maybe 3 hours later excited for our sunset soak but it hadn't been taken care of. I called again and waited another hour and a half before someone came up to address it. A waste of time waiting around and I had to call again ! The views were great but interior needs some quality control. The blanket had blood over it that they just tried covering with a sheet. Pretty gross experience. Only giving two stars for the view. I shouldn't have had to call 3 times to get a tub cleaned and waited hours when it should have been cleaned at check in to begin with.

Yelp
Check In process was simple and the line wasn't too bad for the wait. I love how the casino no longer smells like cigarettes, which is nice. We stayed for one night and the room was comfortable and had majority of the standard hotel amenities. Our room did not have a safe deposit box though. I did enjoy the comfortable spacious bathroom and beds were pretty soft.
google avatar

Jay P.

Yelp
Plenty of gaming machines as well as restaurants to pick from. Everything from high end to basic burgers and fries. Free drinks while playing games, even slots. Staff is attentive and very accommodating. High end poker as well as small time for beginners.

Yelp
I didn't read all the reviews before, but I definitely think this place is worth it Even just for the location. I think personally being able to drink and just go up to your hotel room is super great. The room is very spacious and the beds are very comfy. The bathroom is huge. However, I'm not sure how I feel about the two shower heads. I don't really think they're necessary, but other than that and the towels kind of being all ripped apart, I would say it was a pretty great place. I mean it was kind of pricey for what it was, but other than the parking being a kind of pain in the butt I would say I would definitely do it again.
google avatar

Rose M.

Yelp
Not sure where to start...rooms are poor quality. Shower and sinks did not drain. Chair on arrival was filthy. Poor customer service. Only a few towels in the room. I would not stay at this location again.

Michelle K.

Yelp
We had a awful time no towels no blankets... Rude staff... No house keeping we requested it... Asked for blanket waited about 6 hrs for blankets and toilet paper... Asked to speak to a manager it took 2 days to be able to talk to some body... That's all I got was oh I am sorry....

Yelp
So we came back 2/27-2/29 to give them another chance and this time the room was much better. The Check in woman seemed a bit blah at the desk, didn't know to much info when we asked her questions (I needed a wheelchair and she brought me some old busted one and I told her that wouldn't work and she then said well u can call and rent a scooter but provided to phone or info so I had to Google) and wasn't very friendly, once I finished on the phone I had to stand with my crutches waiting for her to come back and told her what scooter number they gave me and she went in the back and brought it out. It just seemed like she was there for the paycheck and to do the bare minimum. Customer service just isn't the same anymore. We got a king bedroom and when we entered it was definitely clean! U could smell a faint bleach smell (nothing over powering but u knew the room had been cleaned) I called down to guest services because I needed extra pillow (I just had surgery and have to prop when I sleep) the guy said he would send someone up and about 5-7minutes later Fefe showed at the door. (I love her so much I want to take her home with me, we had her after our first time staying a few weeks back when we had a not so clean room and she came and took care of things for us.) she showed with two extra pillows but when she saw me with crutches instantly said "I'll be right back" well when she returned she had 4 pillows, extra towels, waters and more tea. She even was so sweet and fixed the pillows up on the bed for me and helped me get settled in. She is an amazing person and u can tell she wants the guests experience to be a good one. I chose fox tower again because the showers have a bench and just having knee surgery I have to sit and need the removable showered so it worked out good. I'm glad we did stay at fox tower again even tho after the first time we weren't sure we would ever stay there again. This time was much better. The tv in the room worked great no blown out speakers on this one lol. The morning before we checked out my bf went down to grab a quick breakfast before we left and I dnt know what lil cafe he bought me a bagel from but when I tell u they put an entire stick of cream cheese on the bagel I kid u not. I had to scrape off literally what looked like a whole container box of cream cheese. Talk about overkill but it was the only place open near our hotel without him having to walk all the way to the Dunkin near Pequot. They really need to put another Dunkin or something in the fox tower area. I wish there was more in this fox area... I called down to guest services to ask about if we needed a belle hop or could go grab one of the rolling carts for the luggage and the girl on the phone said no bell hops were working and we could grab a cart anytime. Well I send my bf down and he came back empty handed and said "the bell hop is working and said we are not allowed to use them unless we request them" so whoever I spoke to on the phone was clueless. The bell hop woman came up and took care of the luggage and brought it downstairs. She was very nice and said she didn't understand why I was given the wrong info. She even loaded the stuff in our car, my bf tried to do it but she insisted she do it, she was a super nice woman. We are thinking about trying one of the other hotels for our next stay (even tho the reviews on those are just as iffy) but I really like Fefe so I know if I stay at Fox tower and ever need anything she will take care of me! she needs a raise! Beautiful soul and best customer service experience there is with her.... One complaint: We were given a conjoining room and the people who slept on the other side were so loud laughing and making stupid noises and slamming doors at 2am. It made the mirror on our walls bang and rattle which was obnoxious. So if u dnt go with people make sure u ask to have a room that isn't a conjoining room! We had to be up early and it made it impossible to sleep that second night stay. Also the morning of checkout there was a room cleaner guy who kept knocking on our door every 30-40 mins to see if we were leaving or had left yet. Was very annoying. Because of my surgery it takes me longer to get myself together and we finally left the room at 10:45 to head down. Checkout is 11am so wtf was he knocking so frequently for?!

Yelp
AWFUL! 1. The first room they gave us was trashed. Water leaking from the shower, bathroom towels looked like someone was rolling around in mud and decided to wipe them selves down. 2. Second room smelt like a foot that hasn't been washed for 15+ days. Something was clearly dead under the sheets but I was too exhausted to cause a scene. 3. How the F*** do you not have a steamer? There is no reason a hotel of this magnitude does not have a steamer. You're taking all these gambling peoples money and you can't invest in a $29.99 steamer. I drove 30 minutes to go buy a steamer because my fabrics are too delicate for an iron. Out of my many years of traveling, I have not once come to a hotel that does not have steamer. We all don't wear Zara cotton Foxwoods. *Disclaimer I do love Zara no hate.* 4. We go to check out.. Front Desk: "How did you enjoy your stay?" Me: " I hated it" Front Desk: "Okay. Here's your receipt" Okay cute. Wow. Interesting. No level of concern. I came here because I had to....Love comes first and the kids were getting married. Other than that never again. I may even have a rash after sleeping in that bed. Headed to go get it checked out now. CHARGE BACK WHERE

Yelp
The Check In for the hotel is absolutely awful .. on average well over an hour wait throughout the day .. need to come up with express check via kiosk to help speed things up . Otherwise Rooms were clean and nice ..

Yelp
We were there on Monday April 10 and left April 11. Alta Strada is only open Wed-Sun. Junior's has a fast food vibe and closed at 2pm. The Tanger food court next to the Fox Tower was closed both days we were there. Shrine was not open monday. Everything that might be open is at the Pequot tower which is a decent walk from the Fox Tower. The walk there also has a closed fast food place and a closed bar. The website leads you to belive that everything is at the same place. Most of the open restaurants are at Pequot. The Fox Tower on Moday and Tues was desolate and creepy. I did not mention the $25 resort fee. What that gets you is not clear since there was nothing open. The response to my initial bad review is less of an apology and more like more marketing. If I ever go back, it will likely be for a concert, and I certainly will not be staying at the Fox Tower.

Yelp
Great hotel within Foxwoods! It is modern and has beautiful rooms and very comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and will supply anything you need for your stay. The rooms are clean and have great views of the surrounding land with spacious room to work at a desk. Amenities are supplied, such as two complimentary water bottles, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Inside of the bathroom, there is a large walk in shower with a glass door and tile walls, and a coffee machine if desired. There are also ice and vending machines on each floor for guests to utilize. The elevator up to your room is conveniently connected to the Fox Tower Casino. In order to go up to your floor you must scan your key card in the elevator which ensures that only hotel guests are allowed to use the elevator. Located outside of the elevator is the key card drop box, so it is a super quick, contactless check out process. There is no smoking allowed as well so there is no need to worry about any smells lingering in the hallways or in the room.
google avatar

Mirian G.

Yelp
Have been here twice for work conference and both stays have been great. My rooms have been clean and located in higher floors as requested. I like that in order to go up the elevator you must swipe your room key avoid drunks patrons going into random hotels floors. Dining options are many from fast to fancy.

Yelp
Davina was great !!! Excellent customer service !! She was very accommodating and very friendly

Yelp
Poor customer service ,restaurants none open 0730 pm? Decided to play to say the slots were tight would be an understatement, asked where to get a coke or coffee wanted 6 dollars for 2 small cups of coke . Really most casinos give soft drinks to people playing. Had to ask about drinks because lack of hostesses. Our first time , our last time here. We will never return here.
google avatar

Que B.

Yelp
Beautiful tower go karts located downstairs. Outside pool with food and drink service plus the pool is a great size. You can Zip line from the top of the tower for the adventurous ones. From the casino lobby is the entrance to Tanger outlets which ends at the Pequot Tower. Jonny's restaurant located in the lobby.

Yelp
We stayed in fox tower last night and likely will not return. It was our second time staying here this year. Upon arrival (~6pm Wednesday 4/24) there was a very long line, with about 10 reservations ahead of us. It seemed as though the attendants standing around (not checking people in) could have been helping or at least offering waters, information, interacting with guests or SOMETHING other than standing there chatting with each other. Our "handicapped" room had a regular bathtub you had to step over the side to get into, with no bench or seat for showering. The drain for the tub was broken, so it filled with water while showering and then slowly drained hours later. This morning I went down to ask about access to pools and recommendations for breakfast. Mary waved me to the counter and I said "good morning we are staying in fox tower, is there a pool that we can use?" She did not answer me, instead she referred me to a woman who I assume was the manager. She explained the indoor pool is owned by the spa and we would only have access to it if we purchased spa service or a pass. I asked about the other hotel pools and was told they were not for fox tower guests. So in addition to fox tower being far away from most of the casino, there is no pool accessible to guests unless it is summer? I politely thanked the manager and after I had turned around, Mary said "have a good day." I guess she didn't hear me say "you too" since she then turned to the manager(?) and laughed saying something about the gesture not being returned. Overall was not impressed with Mary's lack on knowledge of the services offered to guests, and was very put off by her blatant rudeness. I walked over to juniors to look at their breakfast menu and the hostess did not understand when I asked if they were able to make breakfast sandwiches to go. She walked me to the to go counter where a nice woman explained they could make a breakfast sandwich but it would cost about $25 after tax. After returning to the room, we heard knocking from room service on the door. We had our do not disturb tag up, as it was only 9am and my partner was still relaxing in bed. I said no thank you we closed the door. For the next half hour or so, all we could hear was the room service attendants banging around and yelling to each other in the hallway. We decided at that point that we would just drop our keys off and leave. I was hopeful after our last stay that things would be better this time, but I have to say, due to the inaccessible bathtub, lack of customer service, and Mary's blatant rudeness, we will not be returning. With so many other options and another casino just a few miles away, it seems as though fox tower does not care to retain customers at all.

Megan H.

Yelp
No toilet paper in the room! When asking the front desk she was not nice and said "o we will send some up" still no tp:0 I guess if you get the suite it would have been better but still who knows maybe the have Bidet .!!!! Poopy situation. Had fun gambling tho.

Yelp
Dated hotel with 30 floors and 6 banks of elevators. Review based on my stay in a room with double beds on the 7th floor. Pros: 1. Valet parking. 2. Free unlimited water in the room, but only 2 bottles were present at the time of check in. You can call guest services to bring more. The water bottles are only 12 ounces. 3. Decent TV channels and pay per view movies available. 4. Roomy shower with powerful water pressure which is extremely comfortable. 5. Refrigerator, safe box and glass cups and mugs 6. Express check out. Drop off key at elevator drop box. Cons: 1.The Room is very dark. Look carefully before you check out. You may leave something it's so dark. It's dark during the daytime hours too. 2. Beds are too soft - personal preference I know. 3. Dated furnishings. 4. No USB outlets and limited outlets. 5. You are charged a $25 daily resort fee with limited access to the immediate tower hotel facilities. The resort fee allows you to use some of the other facilities in the property but you need to walk or shuttle bus over to get there. You must be 21 and older to use the tower facilities. If you want to use the tower pool, add an extra $25 per day per person for use of the pool. The gym use also requires a picture ID and room number info to gain access. 6. A $100 dollar deposit per room for incidentals is required. Takes a few days before they credit it back to you. Overall the hotel is ok, but what you get for the resort fee is minimal. The rooms and resort access could definitely use a overhaul.

Yelp
I had a good stay at Foxwoods, the hotel itself is gorgeous. Absolutely beautiful. The staff was excellent, housekeeping was spotless. The entire vacation we spent there in a nutshell was an overall great time. I do recommend touring around the little town about 20 minutes away called mystic, you won't be disappointed. The only things that need to be addressed that could of made my stay a 5 star are: The bed wasn't very comfortable, it was okay to say the least. She sheets are rough and super thin, honestly it's like sleeping with paper. Please do something about this. If you're reading this bring your own blanket. The restaurant and bakery - Juniors. Is HORRIBLE. I need to let you know that this is the first place we ate at when we arrived at your resort and it was such a disappointment, talk about a way to set the tone for our vacation. I left a review on their yelp also.. feel free to read. Multiple times during our stay the guest in other rooms on our floors had altercations, the first night we heard doers slamming and yelling down the hall. Some guy had an altercation with his gf I assume and we were concerned she was hurt. The sounds were terrifying. We tried calling security and after waiting on the phone for 5 mins we decided to run downstairs to grab security. Turns out apparently it was a member of the reservation of some sort. And they carried on being loud. Nothing was done. This went on for multiple nights during our stay. We had multiple issues with our key cards for the rooms, in regards to them working or being able to charge to the room. Overall the stay was good, those things needed to be addressed because it did disappoint me. I sincerely hope you take it into consideration because

Yelp
We booked 2 nights in the directors suite. For the amount of money this room costs... there was SO much wrong with it. The back of the desk chair was all stained up. The bathroom faucets had green corrosion where the water comes out. The emergency sprinkler in the bathroom was rusty. Had to keep the bathroom door shut because the toilet ran constantly. While making the bed, we found someone's sock in the bed that wasn't even ours. The Wi-Fi was horrible and kept going in and out. The worst thing was the heating vents. We did not get any sleep the first night because the vent in the bedroom made a loud whistling sound the entire time it was on. It also rattled. The second night we actually had to shut the heat off in order to sleep because the whistling was so loud. This left us very cold during the night. We also checked in around 4:30pm and had to wait 50 minutes because the line was so long.

Yelp
Booked the Tanger outlets package and upon check in was told I need to exchange the "vouchers" for the gift cards at the service desk. Despite online saying they were open, there was no one at ANY of the Tanger outlet service desks. No one in the management office. No one to answer the phone. This happened at 8:30pm on Saturday, and from 11-11:30am on Sunday. Decided to go to the front desk at Fox Tower to ask them if they could assist, or if they had any insights on how to redeem the voucher sold as a package through their booking. I was told that the hotel has nothing to do with Tanger outlets and there was nothing they could do, but she would go see what her manager in the back had to say. She came back out and stated the same thing again, they are a separate entity and Foxwoods and the Fox Tower had no control over the voucher and Tanger outlets. Was told that the voucher never expires and we could "use it" anytime or at any Tanger outlet location. Not true, as the back of the voucher states it needs to be redeemed at the Foxwoods location.... But how can I do that when no one is at the service desk?!? The point is that we booked a package through Fox Tower and paid a higher fee that included a 50$ per person "gift card" to Tanger Outlets. Was given a useless voucher upon check in and then told there was nothing they could do about it. If Foxwoods has "nothing to do with" Tanger Outlets then perhaps their hotels shouldn't sell a package that includes their service. They wouldn't even refund me the difference between the non-"Shop and Stay" rate and the regular rate seeing how the "shop" perk was inaccessible.

Yelp
I have many fond memories for decades of coming here and enjoying one of the largest Casinos in the country! I have met so many wonderful staff members that has made my experience here top knotch! The Staff at FOX TOWER has been excellent especially one of my long time favorite Staff member - NORMA JEAN! She has always taken great care that I had the Best experience at FOXWOODS! She and others worked at the Concierge CheckIn along with PATRICIA PEACOCK LOVEDAY. It was always exciting to play and at times spend a night here! Some changes I miss dearly was the RAINMAKER BUFFET closed due to our Pandemic, BUT, I hope they resurrect this BUFFET AGAIN! In all the years here, I hope the Executives acknowledges its prized staff who truly Represents FOXWOODS in a positive light! But I would be remiss not to mention one other Member of FOXWOODS IS MICHEAL, Who is working in SECURITY and a super talented Artist who would paint caricatures of the guests on the windows if they were celebrating a Birthday or special events! Thanks all for my memories!

Yelp
So this review is only for the hotel accomodations of the Fox Towers, not the casino or other venues - and based simply on that, I was quite surprised by how comfortable and quiet the rooms were. If you're not familiar with Foxwoods' layout - as I am not - it took me a little bit of wandering within the outskirts of the casino floor to find the lobby. The lobby itself is large and somewhat Trumpian in its decor - brash, ostentatious, full of faux gold tones, and ultimately cold. Thankfully, the reception staff was well-mannered and welcoming. Another oddity is that you have to go back out onto the casino floor to find the hotel elevators - no doubt this is all planned to lure you into that den of gambling! (What really lured me was the Juniors diner off the lobby and the thought of cheesecake ...) But back to the accomodations: the room was large. clean, and comfortable, quiet and a quiet A/C unit. My room didn't have a tub but had a large sit-down shower stall. The water pressure was a full-bore fire hose blast - no anemic water-saving throttles here - that nearly knocked you off your feet. Nice - Cosmo Kramer would approve. The only drawback to the stay is that the wifi signal is a bit slow - no doubt an effort to remind you that you're not there to work but to play ...

Yelp
I used to come here when it first opened and it was the new hotel with all the buzz, but now it feels neglected and forgotten. Everything in our room was just pretty beat up. When we came over 10 years ago, the restaurants were great, the club was fun, and it felt like they'd taken a little piece of Vegas and dropped it in CT. Now it just feels dead. The employees were ok, the food was pretty good, but overall this beautiful place has lost it.

Yelp
Wayyyy to expensive for what it offers. Over-priced. It was my 1st time there I am good on those hotel prices.

Yelp
Poor customer service from the manager. People arguing and banging on the inside door and in the hallway. Security called twice and no one came. We had to run for the elevator in pajamas and with all our stuff to go to the front desk and be moved to the 29th floor. We will never stay there again if I could I would not give any stars...

Yelp
Great Staff. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Our party had 3 rooms reserved and we requested them all together. I loved that when they realized there was an issue with one of the rooms they offered a very nice solution which really made our day. We can't wait to visit again.

Yelp
Foxwoods sure knows how to throw an epic fiesta! We had so much fun at their Taco and Tequila event this weekend. From the mechanical bull, endless tequila options, music by DJ Cookie, amazing food and tons of photo opportunities, we're already planning our next trip back to Foxwoods Resort!

Yelp
My room on the 27th floor was great! Amazing semi-panoramic views and beautiful decor with a spacious bathroom! My complaints come with the staff. Hardly any of them are worthy of even being called typical casino resort hotel staff! The lack of customer service or even a quasi friendly attitude is ridiculous! The front desk staff is alright but not at all helpful. Imagine asking a question that pertains to your stay to a front desk staff member and being answered with "I'm sorry, I don't know" and stare at me blankly. Like.....ok? Can ya find someone who does know?!?! The staff throughout the casino and food court areas leave A LOT to be desired! The rate was desirable during my two night stay which made the annoyance tolerable. Room service: The room service staff was great and of true casino resort quality. The food came in large portions and tasted fresh and flavorful! The spa was amazing!! (see separate review) I'm not sure I'd recommend a stay at the Fox Tower but may stay elsewhere and visit the spa. The hotel has plenty of room for improvement!!

Yelp
My lady friend and I attended a wedding at Foxwoods last night. This was my first time staying at the casino and I wasn't disappointed. The room itself was tastefully decorated. The stand up shower was stylish. The water pressure was strong, just the way it needed to be. I wouldn't really call it a negative but more of something to think about. The hotel lobby and the elevators to the rooms were separated. Being a nonsmoker, it wasn't very appealing for me to walk through the smokers casino area to get to my room. That was by far my most displeasing part of getting from A to B. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable stay for us.

Yelp
I found a Groupon for Fox Tower hotel at Foxwoods for 66$ per night. I thought it would be a nice anniversary getaway for my husband and I, (and with our kids bc why not?!) and since the kids had never seen the hotel. We booked for Sunday night into Monday, and the total for the room was 104$. Then there was an additional 21.xx in tax on top of it, bringing our total to 126 and change. Who doesn't love an adventure?! Well I guess you get what you pay for. Check-in went splendidly. ((We started at Sugar Factory which deserves its entirely separate Yelp, so I will treat that accordingly.)) We walked to check--in to be greeted by a huge line. After 5 minutes of waiting in line a man asks my husband if he wants to save 45 minutes by following him. Sure, obviously. As I provide my credit card and license for check-in, I discover that there is an additional $25.00 fee. Whaaaaaat?! Where did Groupon say that?! HINT: it didn't. When I asked the man at the desk about it, he was short and obnoxious, as in basically pay it or good-bye. OK so we are up to about 150.00 for the room at this point. We get upstairs to find that it is highly unimpressive and small. I would venture to say tiny. Poorly lit. Toilet paper holder is broken, which I'm sure they will try to charge me for. Then, we find out that there is no actual pool for the kids to use at Fox Tower; you have to go to Grand Cedar hotel for the kids to use the pool. Did not see that in the description. We take the kids to the Arcade which obviously they love. Then we head to the pool, which is a pretty good hike from the hotel room. If you have seen Diary of a Wimpy Kid, picture the pool scene at the beginning of the movie. Overcrowded pool, kids everywhere, water ALLLLL over the floor pooling EVERYWHERE. Screaming children, kids touching you underwater, no staff in sight. No clean pool towels, nothing. Gross! Overall SUPER DISAPPOINTED with our anniversary celebration choice. We could have easily spent less money at Great Wolf Lodge and the five of us would have been happy. Two thumbs down, 10/10 WOULDN'T RECOMMEND.

Yelp
My husband and I come here quite a bit and always have a great time, so we are definite fans of this hotel. The last several stays, we were in a Director's suite and prior to that we had a Producer's suite. I will say this much.. The bed in the Director's suite which is supposed to be one of their top rooms, is NOT comfortable to sleep on and the pillows are not great either. The Director's suite is very large with a separate sitting area, a bathroom with double sinks, a soaking Jacuzzi tub with a window view to enjoy the scenery and a separate shower. So, if you are looking for spacious, this is the room to get. As far as the Producer's Suite, it is one large room with the sitting area on one end, a bathroom with a single vanity sink, a soaking Jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. There is a lot to do here at Foxwood's/Fox Tower, you won't be disappointed. Right off the elevator is a Casino, Shrine Night Club, Red Lantern Restaurant, Juniors and many more. Let's not forget The Fox Tower outdoor Swimming Pool! It's huge and it's always a great time out there!!! Be sure to get some cheesecake from Juniors downstairs! It's to die for!! :) Use the Valet parking. It's the best way to go. :)

Yelp
Second time staying here. First time was great. We got a big corner room. It was clean, bright and we had a beautiful view. This time was a whole different feel. Our room was pretty gross! When we walked in I took my shoes off. The carpet felt wet in some parts of the room so I put my shoes back on. The room was muggy so I instantly turned the A/C on. The beds were fine, linens were clean but they felt old and rough. The carpet was so dirty, had so much hair and other stuff everywhere. The water kept rising in the sink and then the shower (ew) I almost slipped when I stepped in. It felt so gross. The shower door had water spots all over it and wouldn't even close. The only pro was that my baby seemed to like the bed and slept through most of the night. Will definitely check out the other hotels before coming back here.

Yelp
Had a view of the closed pool but it was so nice to stay here versus two trees where i usually end up. Felt secure w the security guards checking room keys downstairs and the room was a pretty nice size. Was a great comp room. Hopefully i will be back!

Yelp
I have stayed at Foxwoods Fox Tower 4 times for conferences over the past 2 years and dread it each time. The price tag of 300+ per night is nuts and they should be paying me to stay there. Old and tired. 3 times my "key" card got de-magnetized. I stay at a lot of hotels and this lack of technology is ridiculous. No USB ports in the hotel rooms and my "radio" had an old school port for my 2002 iPod. FYI it's 2019 Rooms are dirty and dusty. The ventilation system does not work well enough to get rid of the smoke smell in the casino or restaurants. The food is overpriced for what you get. Alta Strada is the only restaurant that in my opinion is halfway decent. Glad a bunch of the conferences are changing venues because Foxwoods is gross. Update: the staff members here are great and so are the showers. (Probably not very water efficient but nice)

Yelp
This is our second time staying at this hotel. The Check In staff were very polite and courteous. Our room on the 28th floor was clean. It was one of the suites so the area where the toilet is in the bathroom was separate with its own door. Upon going in there to use the restroom later in the evening it smelled like weed so bad I wanted to vomit. I'm guessing it was coming in through the vent I don't know where else it could've came from. We left the door closed and the fan on constantly to try to stay ahead of the smell. When we checked out and were asked how our stay was I replied that everything was very nice except the smell of the weed which was gross I wasn't able to sleep because of it. The response I received was a bit of a shrug like no surprise this happens all the time, but I'll tell "somebody"

Yelp
I attended a conference here, I had a rough flight and upon check-in I had to straighten out my billing situation. At which it took a bit of time but once I was in I loved my room and was ready to enjoy myself. Everything is here, food is good, gambling is great!! I want to come ba

Yelp
This place has gone downhill!!! The little things mean a lot. No straws?!? Cold food from my $90 room service breakfast. Talked to front desk and room service manager, they blamed it on the fact that it traveled from Foxwoods not Fox Tower. It is what it is. Totally unacceptable! Received apple juice instead of orange because they were out of orange juice, but still charged me. I would not stay here again.

Yelp
Bought a living social deal for a weeknight stay in a standard king room for about $127 which included a 20% off discount and taxes. We arrived at noon and assumed a room wouldn't be ready until check in (4pm). We were told us it wouldn't be that long (maybe an hour or two) and we would get a text once a room was ready. (If we wanted a lower floor room, we would have been able to check in immediately, but I wanted a higher floor). The guy checking us in hesitated then said, "wait a minute...might have a suite available on a high floor right now". We were pleasantly surprised and excited, having been given an end room 25th floor "director suite" which was 2 rooms (bedroom and living room/office area) complete with mini frig, couch and a bathroom with 2 sinks, separate toilet room and a jacuzzi tub/shower room. Oh and the rooms had floor to ceiling windows. It was stunning and we felt like celebrities. One minor complaint was the smoke detector blinked brightly every few seconds....it kept me from falling asleep unless the sheet was pulled over my head. Kind of a bummer and I didn't sleep as soundly as I thought I would. Overall, we enjoyed our one night stay, the extra amenities and the decor of the room and will probably be back again at some point. This is a perfect quick getaway for a romantic night away. Groupon/Living Social offers this deal all the time, so definitely take a look if you want to save some money. Deal also includes a $15 dining credit and a late check out (12pm).

Yelp
My partner and I checked into the hotel for a 2 night stay. My partner recently tour his ACL, making it hard for him to walk longer distances. We asked Andrew at the front desk if we could get a room closer to the elevator but he didn't look if he could, instead gave us the room furthest from the elevator. When we checked into our room there was a strong smell of cigarettes and the room was just dirty. The fire sprinkler has about 1/2 inch worth of dust covering it. The desk in the room has brown stains on it, as if someone split a whole cup of coffee on the desk and it never got cleaned. We called the front desk to complain, the guy immediately started with "I can't upgrade you" before we could even say anything. He then forwarded our call back to Andrew at the front desk who did not offer us a solution. He was unwilling to even give us a near by suit or another King room. Did not expect service like this especially when paying over $200 a night. It is worth the longer trip to Encore in Boston.

Yelp
Yeah it's going to be a no go here. I honestly prefer Mohegan - and if Fluffy (Gabriel Iglesias) didn't have what he called a "disagreement" with Mohegan- I would have preferred to see him there. In my opinion - their small little signs on where to go to see people or places are a joke, we all got lost - asked some kid that looked all of 18 where Fluffy was playing, and he rudely says : "why don't you just follow the girls I just spoke to." OKAY buddy... wouldn't want you to go out of your way or anything. Entitled millennial. 95 percent of the workers were rude when asking for directions to things - like we all we're putting them out. Sorry Foxwoods - you don't see that sort of NONSENSE at Mohegan. Food court was SO dirty. Try throwing your trash on the floor people - because they don't empty bins ... so your trash falls right out anyway. Maybe this will hint to them their trash is all FULL. The tables were not cleaned ... ppl at different places acted like if you ordered something... they were going out of their way. No lids for drinks at the food court near Starbucks... but how much money are you taking in Foxwoods!? UNREAL. All in all this casino is overhyped. Many of the slot machines are old and should be retired (or at least cleaned better, some were sticky - but cleaning doesn't seem their strong suit- as I said above). Some of the clientele they attract are a little sketchy looking. I had one one person stare and was watching me take money out of my wallet at all times - that made me feel uncomfortable. The casino doesn't have the same aesthetically exciting feel to it as casinos in Las Vegas obviously. There is a non-smoking area, but it still smells smoky- forget about the rest of the areas that allow smoking, they need to increase the rate of air handling because as a non-smoker it was a turn off and I had to leave those areas. The only plus was Gabriel Iglesias- but this whacky theater there has security sitting right next to you. Even the comics were like what is up with that. I'll go for shows again "maybe" as I see Jim Bruer is playing - but never will eat or play there. Just gross.

Yelp
We stayed here for a weekend long event at MONZA World Class Karting located in the Fox Tower. I was very impressed with this hotel. Rooms were clean, front desk staff was friendly & knowledgeable. There were many choices for dinner and I loved the shopping mall attached. We will come back soon. I would love to spend more time exploring the resort.
