On the Grid : The Frankie Shop

"The Frankie Shop’s selection of on-trend pieces from designers like Rachel Comey, LOQ, Apiece Apart, and Laura Lombardi makes it a favorite shopping destination for passersby like Alyssa Coscarelli and Dasha Faires. They also regularly stock a number of international brands with less name recognition in the States, making it the perfect spot to discover something new." - Passerbuys

Was excited to come in store from Australia. I was greeted at the Crosby store by welcoming security on entry and a lovely guy while I was browsing. I tried a couple of jackets while being completely ignored by the 3 other staff. I approached these staff to ask a question while wearing one of the jackets and had to interrupt their conversation as they weren’t going to end it just because I was hovering. I asked if it comes in navy, the blonde one looked blankly, said no, and turned back to the conversation without missing a beat. There was a navy jacket but she was not interested in helping me to spend money in that store. So I didn’t spend money in that store and promptly left. What an asshole. Also the button holes were really badly finished with loose threads. I didn’t feel confident to ask if there was more stock with better quality after the treatment. So I’ll probably never buy online either. Such a shame as I had been excited to find my new favourite label. It’s not that one.

The Frankie Shop – Soho, NYC I’ve always loved The Frankie Shop as a brand, but unfortunately, my experience at the Soho location really changed my perspective. From the moment I walked in, no one greeted me or even acknowledged I was there. All of the employees were gathered behind the registers, gossiping and paying zero attention to customers who clearly needed assistance. I tried multiple times to ask for help locating items or asking about a product I had seen in-store, and no one seemed to know anything about what they were selling. Beyond the lack of service, the staff acted extremely dismissive and unapproachable — it felt like they thought they were too good to help anyone. It’s disappointing because I’ve admired this brand for a long time, but after this visit, I honestly feel like I’d rather spend my money somewhere else — somewhere where customer service actually exists.

The Frankie Shop has been a staple in my wardrobe for a few years now, especially the Bea Blazer, which I have in every colour. Their quality is mountains above other clothing stores and they offer such unique, fine tailored, clothing, so I'm always browsing to see what's new. Since majority of my orders have been online, I have had experience with their support team and they're super friendly, responsive, and timely! I would say: read the measurements carefully. TFS is not all one brand, and sizing can range from one to the other. I've had experiences buying an XL and it was too tight to put on, and other XL's that are too large. Returns cost $12, but considering the price of pieces, it's not too much of an expense.

I’ve shopped the Frankie Shop online several times, and every experience has been excellent. The clothes are fabulous, and the one time I had a customer service issue, they took care of it quickly and so pleasantly. Luxury service without the luxury attitude

Frankie is the best. They sell out of certain styles in store quickly, but you can usually find them online and if they are out of stock there, they have a very effective alert system for when styles come back in stock. I also think they have amazing customer service, both in store and online.

I walked in on Saturday with my husband, the store was busy but the team was very attentive and the clothes were amazing. It was great to see everything I’ve looked at online in-person and left with several items I’ve been eyeing! Love this brand.

This is a great brand. The quality is aligned very well with the price point, especially compared to other brands. I emailed for help with a return, and customer service got back to me instantly

I had a great experience with The Frankie Shop’s customer service team. They were responsive, professional, and went above and beyond to assist me with my return. They quickly resolved my issue and made the entire process seamless. It’s refreshing to shop with a brand that truly values its customers. Highly recommend and I look forward to shopping with them again in the future!
