The Frederick Hotel

The staff is super friendly. The rooms are cozy, not great for working from, but the hotel is right next to a train station and in walking distance to many coffee shops. Overall the location is good if you're going to be in Manhattan. I stayed at The Frederick Hotel for a work trip, but its location lends to doing tourist activities in the city, especially if you're going to spend most of the day out and about.

Every time I stay at The Frederick, I have a wonderful experience. The location is perfect for anyone visiting NYC, as you can get around easily by foot and all the train lines stop there.||The hotel itself is is lovely. The rooms are a good size (for New York) and always clean. Each room also has a robe and slippers.||The customer service is excellent. You are always greeted with a smile by the doorman and the front desk staff. The team is efficient and always eager to help. They allow you to stow your bags after check out, which is great if you have an afternoon flight. ||An extra shout out to the General Manager, Christopher. He has a sunny disposition and introduces himself by name to customer. He is always contactable and eager to find ways to make your stay enjoyable. You can see he is a great manager, hence how smoothly the hotel runs. I highly recommend you consider staying here. You won't be disapointed. I will personally, be back soon!

We were a group of 9 adults and we stayed in 5 rooms for 5 nights. We all enjoyed our stay and will return again when next in NY. The location is excellent as there is a subway station right out side the hotel and it is a short walk to Brooklyn bridge and ground zero. A real bonus was the breakfast on site which saved us valuable sightseeing time. Rooms were compact but comfortable and spotlessly clean. All in all an excellent choice for us.

We travel to New York one or two times a year and always stay at the Frederick. Very clean, comfortable and friendly hotel. Rooms are small but cozy! Neighborhood is very walkable and feels safe. Easy walk to the World Trade Center. The "complimentary "continental" breakfast at the attached Seraphina restaurant is a full breakfast including eggs and sausage. The room rates are a little high but worth it.

I have stayed at the Frederick several times. The staff is friendly and the rooms are amazing. Some of the rooms are small and are great for one person. If you travel with a spouse they have rooms that are larger and fit two people better. They also have a couple suites that have three beds. The neighborhood is great and is quiet at night. This is my go to hotel when traveling to New York City

My only regret during my stay at the Frederick is that I stayed just one night. A great small neighborhood hotel that makes me want to rethink staying at big hotel chains. I felt like I was staying in a small neighborhood place, but this is downtown NYC and accessible to anything you want to do. The rooms are on the small side but inviting, efficient and very comfortable. The smallest details have been thought out in the room, with terrific bathrooms. The breakfast was way better than expected from a buffet breakfast - it's all cooked fresh and real. The hotel staff was so friendly and very willing to engage and help out. The hotel bar, Primo was special, a great mix of people from the hotel and not - an upscale neighborhood hangout with great bar service.

Very clean well appointed room, very friendly staff, fast elevators, great location, reasonable price. I was upgraded without asking and the breakfast was very pleasant I was very impressed and will return. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Terrific room, not any extra space, but well appointed. It is SoHo after all. Staff was terrific! Bed and bath were great. Location perfection. I will be returning on repeat! Subway to Penn was across the street and WTC was a few blocks. Loved it!
