Our stay at The Fullerton was overall pleasant. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, and we generally enjoyed our time at the hotel. However, the service did not quite meet the standard we expected from a 5-star property.Upon arrival, we received a slice of cake as a welcome gesture, which was a nice gesture. Unfortunately, the plate it was served on remained in our room for two days, even though housekeeping had already serviced the room. After mentioning this to the front desk, we were kindly offered a bottle of wine as an apology, which we appreciated and enjoyed that same evening.The next day, the plate was finally cleared, but the empty wine bottle, glasses, and several empty water bottles were still left behind. We brought this up again before going out for a few hours, and the staff member at reception apologized and assured us the issue would be addressed — but when we returned, nothing had changed.While these are small details, they do make a difference, especially in a 5-star hotel. We hope the management will take this feedback constructively, as the overall experience and setting deserve better attention to service quality.
