The Funky Village

This was a really great Hostel. Location was great, walking distance to pretty much everywhere! Had a really good vibe and was very sociable. The staff were all so lovely! Rooms were HUGE, plenty of space, comfortable beds and aircon. Only negative was it was not great music that was being blasted all day everyday (but that’s just a matter of opinion) Would stay here again definitely!!

Had a great stay here. Rooms clean and tidy, staff great, lots of facilities, lots of food choice in four different restaurants! Spent time in the Pizza Garden and air conditioned workspace. Great for getting work done, and lots of fun here at night. Staff really helpful. Would stay again for sure.

Had an awesome stay at this hostel! Great location, super friendly staff (Mai was awesome!). The sky bar is perfect for chilling at night, and there’s plenty of fun with entertainment like pool tables. Highly recommend!

The best hotel I have stayed in in SEA. I stayed in private room and it was best one we had. The duvet was best touch. We had an amazing time at this hostel the pool area and sky bar are brilliant it is hard to go bored. The food & drinks also really reasonably priced and the staff are brilliant.

We had lovely stay in this hostel so much, the price was cheap, the room was clean and cozy with AC. All the staffs were so friendly, helpful and great English, Especially Nana and Mai, both of them worked as receptionist. We also had a great tour arrangement from the hostel. Everything in here was the best.

This place is a complete and utter disgrace. Not even a homeless person would stay here. The conditions are horrendous! Rooms smell of drainage. You literally have to shower on the toilet. Music is on until late hours of the eve. They say until 1am but it’s not true. Guests are rude and disrespectful, just like the manager. No security or policy to ensure guests do not disturb the other guests. I was kept up until 5.30am by other drunk guests using the pool, shouting and laughing. My friend had to try fit half of the mattress in the bathroom to get some “rest”. ||When I complained and asked for a refund and checked out, I was turned away like it was not their problem. Obviously no refund given. ||Not worth the sleepless nights and stress it caused!

Great hostel I really liked it. Polite and friendly staff, guests are the same. Clean rooms, not expensive prices. I recommend to everyone

Great hostel, lots going on, it does say it’s a party hostel and there was some loud music playing till 1am but not that busy although it is low season. Unfortunately the lady I dealt with in reception was quite rude and abrupt when I was asking different questions about tours etc on more than one occasions so just booked trips else where but other wise good hostel, rooms large and spacious
