My partner and I were visiting from the Gold Coast and had the most amazing breakfast. we highly recommend the Gallery Vegan board. The freshest ingredients too.

We had an amazing experience at this café! The service was incredibly friendly, and the staff made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was prepared with care and tasted amazing. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. Highly recommended!

After having several amazing meals here about 6 years ago, it was on our list to come back again when we returned to Ballina for a visit. Last time we were here the place was packed any weekday we went but for brekky on Father’s Day you could have got a walk in table no worries and based on it experience I can see why. Can’t fault the staff. Attentive and service was excellent. Enough staff to man a small army. Needs a dedicated kids menu. Only 2 options which were given verbally- nothing on the menu- and they weren’t great meals. Kids didn’t enjoy them. 1 thick stodgy pancake, crème fresh and a single strawberry with some strawberry jam. Pretty average. Seemed like they had just been warmed up in a microwave Adult meals were nice but I thought small for the price- eggs Benedict- 1 piece of toast, 2 eggs and bacon. Noting to write home about. Coffee was good so that was a win This used to be the place to go but not so anymore. Would I go again? Maybe, but without the kids as I’d try and find somewhere that catered better for them if I had them. Perhaps I’d go for a coffee on the deck or lawn but not sure I’d return for a meal.

A beautiful cafe in a nice quiet street. Lots of parking close by. Don't hesitate to come here as the staff are friendly and the food is really fresh and tasty. Coconut cold brew was very really refreshing and perfect for a sunny day. The smoked trout salad had really nice asparagus and the hot smoked trout was very gourmet. Highly recommend this. However the falafel bagel was just divine. The pickled vegetables salad in the side actually went very well with the bagel and everything in it worked. Can't recommend this place enough

What a delightful breakfast spot The Gallery Café is! The sun was just out after the morning’s rain, and the staff happily set up a table for me outside, where I could enjoy the sunshine and be with my dog. I chose the green eggs with ham, and a flat white, both of which I enjoyed immensely. I was deeply involved in conversation with a fellow customer and forgot to take photos of my breakfast, but can ensure you it was as tastily presented as it was tasty to eat. The cheerful friendliness of the staff was the perfect side to a yummy meal on a sun-filled morning. I took advantage of the neighbouring EV chargers to fill up my car before the next leg of my trip. That was the cherry on top.

Bit of a gem on a sunny day! Good for an early start with the warmth on you sitting at tables on the grass. Food was delicious and fresh and coffee absolutely brilliant. Thank you to the team for great friendly service. Easy to park but street parking fills up with town workers.

I’m soo surprised The Gallery was a go to place for my group It has definitely gone down hill in our last few visits. Food:- Toast was burnt in 4 orders My muffin wasn’t cooked properly it was doughy. Very average food. Sadly we won’t be back. My group goes out 4 times a mth 😢.

Nice spot (but nothing really special) to enjoy a breakfast but look out, the cost is exorbitant. $19.50 for a very ordinary bacon and egg roll is disgusting.

Yelp
Good service and strong, rich soy latte without any hint of bitterness. The sunny outdoor areas make it a relaxing location to sit and enjoy breakfast or lunch.

Yelp
Massive prawns but not much of taste, the view is beautiful and staff were friendly, beer is expensive as everywhere in a Australia. Nice spot to enjoy the beach view with a coffee more than a meal.

Yelp
I took my mum and some of her friends here for lunch and we all loved it. The setting is very pleasant, with a shady balcony, an indoor option and a lawn area interspersed with big old Norfolk Pines. Young children were having a great time playing on the grass with a box of toys from the cafe. Our food was fresh, generous in proportion and arrived promptly. My spinach and feta tart was delicious, and the manager very kindly added a handful of chips because I mentioned when ordering that I was particularly hungry. My mum and her friend enjoyed the Barramundi and salad, and my Aunty was pleased with her bruschetta. We finished the meal with some good coffee and bite sized dessert pieces, just perfect! If you are looking for fresh food in a relaxed setting, this is the place! Oh, it's licensed too!

Yelp
I would have given this cafe 5 stars but the new owners have taken the most popular and best dish off the menu and this is a major mistake! It was the tempura prawns and this dish was the previous owners signature dish! The new owners need to bring it back, or risk becoming just any old cafe and losing the very strong customer base the previous owner built up.
