We had an amazing experience at this café! The service was incredibly friendly, and the staff made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was prepared with care and tasted amazing. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. Highly recommended!

A beautiful cafe in a nice quiet street. Lots of parking close by. Don't hesitate to come here as the staff are friendly and the food is really fresh and tasty. Coconut cold brew was very really refreshing and perfect for a sunny day. The smoked trout salad had really nice asparagus and the hot smoked trout was very gourmet. Highly recommend this. However the falafel bagel was just divine. The pickled vegetables salad in the side actually went very well with the bagel and everything in it worked. Can't recommend this place enough

Bit of a gem on a sunny day! Good for an early start with the warmth on you sitting at tables on the grass. Food was delicious and fresh and coffee absolutely brilliant. Thank you to the team for great friendly service. Easy to park but street parking fills up with town workers.

I’m soo surprised The Gallery was a go to place for my group It has definitely gone down hill in our last few visits. Food:- Toast was burnt in 4 orders My muffin wasn’t cooked properly it was doughy. Very average food. Sadly we won’t be back. My group goes out 4 times a mth 😢.

What a gem of place hidden in Ballina! Excellent service, great food (I had soft scrambed), and the best coffee (small long black) I've had in Ballina so far. Will be coming in here frequently.

Loved it. Friendly, engaging staff. Very busy but short wait times. Other customers happy so friendly atmosphere. Plus the gallery to browse after eating!

I visited this cafe a week ago. My main reason for writing this review is to acknowledge the wonderful employee who served me. Her name is Alisha (Alicia?). She was extremely cheerful, patient, welcoming and competent. I can't praise her enough. She is a huge asset to the Ballina Art Gallery Cafe. I hope her bosses recognise this and reward her accordingly. Thank you, Alisha, for your kindness and for your beautiful spirit. I will definitely come back again!

Lovely old building, good seating options inside & out. Coffee was excellent and we both enjoyed our breakfast sitting on the verandah in the sun

Yelp
Good service and strong, rich soy latte without any hint of bitterness. The sunny outdoor areas make it a relaxing location to sit and enjoy breakfast or lunch.

Yelp
Massive prawns but not much of taste, the view is beautiful and staff were friendly, beer is expensive as everywhere in a Australia. Nice spot to enjoy the beach view with a coffee more than a meal.

Yelp
I took my mum and some of her friends here for lunch and we all loved it. The setting is very pleasant, with a shady balcony, an indoor option and a lawn area interspersed with big old Norfolk Pines. Young children were having a great time playing on the grass with a box of toys from the cafe. Our food was fresh, generous in proportion and arrived promptly. My spinach and feta tart was delicious, and the manager very kindly added a handful of chips because I mentioned when ordering that I was particularly hungry. My mum and her friend enjoyed the Barramundi and salad, and my Aunty was pleased with her bruschetta. We finished the meal with some good coffee and bite sized dessert pieces, just perfect! If you are looking for fresh food in a relaxed setting, this is the place! Oh, it's licensed too!

Yelp
I would have given this cafe 5 stars but the new owners have taken the most popular and best dish off the menu and this is a major mistake! It was the tempura prawns and this dish was the previous owners signature dish! The new owners need to bring it back, or risk becoming just any old cafe and losing the very strong customer base the previous owner built up.
