The ambiance and aesthetic of this restaurant was so beautiful and calming. Our waiter, Molly, was very nice and did an amazing job. The dishes looked amazing on paper, but unfortunately the food quality was not good. I ordered $27 Banzai shrimp which came with shrimp and rice. The shrimps themselves were tiny and flavorless- they honestly tasted like they were shipped in from overseas and not fresh at all. Very disappointing considering the ambiance and facility were beautiful. Our wait staff was very kind but…. I hoped this restaurant would have invested more in fresh, local seafood but I honestly couldn’t even finish the overseas shrimp I paid $27 for.

We hosted our son and future daughter in law's rehearsal dinner this past weekend at the Galley, and it was incredible!! As we entered the restaurant the decor was beautiful and the whole atmosphere felt bridal and inviting. The food was excellent from the appetizer soup & salad, then our shrimp choices, to our main course, and finally a delicious dessert. Jen and her staff at the Galley went above and beyond! They were so welcoming and catered to our every need, making this evening even more memorable and meaningful for us. Thank You so much

What a delightful breakfast we had here! This place is beautiful on the inside and out. When we got there there was no wait (presumable because the weather was poor) and got seated at a nice table with a view of the street. Our waiter was very friendly and had no problem with us using our laptop for an online auction we had to do. We got the breakfast tacos, breakfast skillet, and sausage biscuits with gravy. Each were amazing, especially my biscuits and gravy that came with delicious cheesy scrambled eggs, tater tots, and to die for sausage biscuits with gravy. Both other meals were also excellent. I like that they put a slice of cucumber and a blueberry in the water - it’s a small detail that makes a big difference! Will definitely be getting breakfast here next time we are in St. Michael’s. - also included are pictures of all the menus.

Our primary server was quite nice and tried to be helpful. The sunny side up skillet was totally overcooked and yet cold. The replacement waffle was ok but again was not served hot. I had to ask four times for a glass of milk. The third time I asked the server’s assist. She said sure and then went over to talk with her friends. Never saw her again. I have it three stars but won’t come back.

Stopped in St Michaels for lunch after a doctor’s appointment in Easton. Walked Main Street, shopped and ended up at The Galley Restaurant. Seemed like a lovely place to stop for lunch. While it was a great day to sit outside, we asked the Hostess seat us inside. There were only 2 other people in the dining room. Our server appeared w/ menu’s then water, never addressed herself by name. We asked questions about menu items, ordered a soda and a cocktail. She disappeared into the kitchen. Our server had no idea how to prioritize her duties, we sat for more than 15 minutes for her to return w/ answers, watched the bartender talk on the phone w/ a personal call, while making several drink orders for other people, a constant smell of something burning in kitchen wafting into the dining room ALL while watching the hostess go in n’ out of the kitchen w/ her long flowing hair, not pulled back or up working around food! We counted a total of four-(4) employees working there (on a Friday). We had to ask 3x for my cocktail. While the food was great, we both agreed that we paid way too much $$ for the wait / experience! Wish we would’ve went somewhere else, such a shame because we live so very far away.

We had an amazing brunch at The Galley in Saint Michael’s, and every bite was outstanding! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The Sunnyside Up Skillet was cooked to perfection, and the English muffin was the ideal complement. The Caramel Apple Sticky Bun was an absolute showstopper—warm, gooey, and packed with just the right amount of sweetness. The Aloha Sunrise Smoothie was refreshing and delicious, the perfect start to the meal. The Breakfast Quesadilla was hearty and flavorful, especially with the added bacon and sausage. Beyond the food, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this place is a must-try for brunch. We’ll definitely be back!

We stopped in for an early lunch/brunch meal after some morning shopping. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. They were helpful with recommendations from the menu. Huge portions of really tasty food. Only complaint was the day was warm and there was no AC in the dining room, so that was tough. But I guess that’s to be expected with old houses. Will definitely be back!

We stopped in for breakfast on a rainy Saturday. They have indoor seating, an outdoor patio, and a covered patio. We sat on the covered patio. The menu has something for everyone, and plenty of healthy options as well. We had the breakfast skillet, which my husband said was fine but not outstanding. I had the crab cake Benedict, order it, you won't regret it! Also had a delicious bloody Mary. They have lots of drink options and you can get a double and take home a souvenir tumbler.
