The Garden Gallery in Morro Bay is such a wonderful spot for plant lovers! They have an amazing selection of houseplants, succulents, and pottery, all carefully curated to offer something for every style and space. I picked up a few small plants and a beautiful pot to make a little arrangement, and I couldn’t be happier with my choices. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, making it a relaxing place to browse and find something unique. It’s definitely one of my favorite spots to visit, and I always look forward to coming back to see what new plants and pottery they have in stock. Highly recommend it if you’re looking to add some greenery to your home!

When I visit Morro Bay here, it's the first place I want to relax here. Of course, it wasn't made overnight, but it got better as time went by, but I think this place is closer to the gallery as the name of this place is rather than a store. Great exhibits and items stand out. I can get many ideas to refer to the interior decoration of the house, and if look around here I think I have more room in my heart. I like this place so strongly recommend !!!

Google
This garden store is so unique. More like a relaxing visit to a garden than a store. Benches and fountains help create a serene atmosphere. They have so many plant species. They have great staff, very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable. They let us keep our plants there until we were ready to leave the area. I'll be back every time I visit.

Google
My aunt bought a plant for herself, so I received $5 off (proof is in the photo). Then, my mom wanted to buy me a second plant, and I tried to redeem the discount using my 50 points, as explained in the text message and shown on their screen. They refused to apply the discount. While I was trying to explain the situation to the manager, she laughed in my face and walked away. As we were leaving the shop with the plant my aunt had already paid for, the manager ran after us and accused us of stealing it.

Google
Staff are really helpful. It's hard to not want to but everything in this store... it's all so pretty! Love the unique selection of pots, cookbooks and the adorable kids section.

Must visit in for morro bay trip We walked around and found interesting plants

Google
We love stopping in when we're in Morro Bay. They have a huge selection of succulent plants, pots. Gifts and more. You could spend hours here admiring all of the stuff. We've started succulent collection so we're always finding new plants to add.

Google
Such a calm and serene environment, chimes and background music accompanied by candles and wooden scent defusers. Lots of Amazing plants and arrangements. Did not pick up anything this time but will definitely be back.

Yelp
I, unfortunately, have a knack for killing plants and have never successfully kept one alive. In contrast, my daughter and good friend have about 100 plants between them and love visiting this place to find new additions they can't resist. They were both thrilled with their choices. This place is beautiful, though prices can be on the higher side. It's always enjoyable to walk through. 6/24/24

Yelp
Arrived in Morro Bay early evening and while walking the Embarcadero looking for a place to eat and we saw this interesting place but it was closed and vowed to return in the morning. This time looking for a place to eat breakfast we went here first. Wow! What a neat place and find!! They had a large array of succulents, house plants, furniture and knick knacks that were so unique and fun to see. The displays were something I will try at home home- wooden box frames and pedestals. The way they matched plants was really eye catching. Got some good ideas for home. We ended buying a couple plants as we had another 2 days before heading home. This place is a delight and definite stop for everyone while in Morro Bay!!

Yelp
The Garden Gallery is a wonderful oasis to stop and shop for the usual as well as the unique succulent or cacti you've been looking for. All plants are exquisitely grown and presented throughout the gallery's grounds. Being a specialty merchant, pricing is a bit more than other retailers. They offer indoor plants and specialize in succulents, bonsai trees, and cacti. There are exceptional garden statuary, water features, unique garden pots, and so much more to help one decorate and beautify one's space. Garden Gallery offers a diverse collection of furniture and furnishings for inside and outside living, cards for all occasions, candles and scents, throws, and so much more. Displays are attractive and inviting, and plants and merchandise change regularly as new arrivals emerge.

Yelp
Another place that I've walked by numerous of time and never made a stop inside. It's beautiful with all the different room. A major garden shop that carries tons of variety of plants. Indoor and outdoor, beautiful gift for everyone. Not just a garden shop but a good variety of home decors. And water features. Just browsing through the different rooms and seeing what was offered was great. As well as getting ideas on design. The outdoors garden center has a major selection of plants, bonsai, succulents and so much more. Beautiful place for a nice wandering around.

Meg T.

Yelp
The Garden Gallery was probably our favorite shop during our stop in Morro Bay! The had a fantastic garden selection (lights, plants, and garden accoutrement) with wonderful holiday and event cards everywhere and also a cute children's section with toys and gifts for little ones. The space is really much larger than it seems from the outside, which makes it appear as if it only sells plants and water fountains. All in all, we loved pursuing the space. The service was friendly and helpful and we most definitely would come back!

Elle L.

Yelp
I don't leave reviews about stores, but the space is so beautiful that I had to. The Garden Gallery a nice change to the touristy stores on the street. The store is large, with several rooms to look at, all with beautiful plants and lovely home decor. The staff was helpful as well. Definitely worth a visit!

Alice J.

Yelp
What a magical place. The Garden Gallery is a combination of a garden (outdoors and indoors) and an arts gallery, in the heart of California's Morro Bay. We came here twice in July and August. Our second visit was on a sunnier day. Just beautiful throughout. See my photos. They got bonsai, small potted plants and flowers, and all sorts of house decors that are really creative. Even fun items like 100 dollar bill napkins! Everyone was very friendly; staff seemed to be happy to work here. We bought a small plant as a gift for a friend here.

Kevin L.

Yelp
There's a lot to discover here! They have a lot of great indoor decor (albeit some is out of my price range). Their plants and succulents are to die for! Their inventory is ever-changing so you're bound to find something time and time again. Every time I have visited, which is often, I have been welcomed warmly by the staff who are always happy to help. As a plant novice, they've answered every single one of my questions to the point where my thumb is getting greener by the day. Whether you're shopping or need a brief retreat into nature, The Garden Gallery has you covered!

Marcus F.

Yelp
Unique and worth a look around. This is basically a small shopping area with a few specialized vendors. It's nicely laid out with plenty of affordable succulents and small cacti. Their selection focuses on "pick of the litter" quality and the price isn't too bad considering location. If anything, it's a nice change compared to the other tourist-trap shops on the embarcadero.. - Pretty popular. Every time I drive down Main street the road is blocked because someone is loading up plants in the back of their Subaru. So rude... - Parking sucks on the weekend..

Michael A.

Yelp
Incredible spot. Great ambiance and wonderful selection of items, furniture, and plants. I'm from Southern California, so they offer a ton of succulents that are not often found there. If you are curious about them carrying a plant, you can show them a photo and they can check if they have it in the back. I picked up a Buddha's Temple succulent, since they're pretty rare where I am located. They also had a few small Red Pagoda, so I grabbed some of those too. Most of the staff are generally acquainted with basic succulent knowledge, but most are not fully versed in specialized care, so don't expect experts. Some of the staff are incredibly knowledgeable, so try asking for some of those people if you have any specific requests. That being said, all the staff here were super nice and fun to talk to. The taller gentleman with glasses is very good and had great service, as well as the spunky woman with white hair who put up with my excessive apologizing for specific plant requests. Both are fantastic people. 100% recommend walking around and getting something from this place! If you are walking around for the day, you can buy a plant and have them store it in the back for a day if needed. I was on a trip for some business so I bought a few plants for the days I was there and decided to pick them all up on the last day so they didn't have to sit in my hotel room. Just ask about it and you can write your name and number down on the receipt.

Jesus M.

Yelp
The selection was amazing and the service was quick and not hard to find. On top of it all it was very affordable. I was able to find some last minute gifts but honestly anything from there is a perfect to any loved one.

Hannah A.

Yelp
A wonderful gem perched in Morro Bay! After a day of strolling around Morro Bay and looking a variety of art shops, we came across this garden. From the outside, it appears like a patio with a variety of plants and beautiful pottery for sale. However, once you walk around the corner you see how massive the gallery actually is and how stunning it is. With a variety of open-air rooms, there is a lot of floor space that is beautifully designed. Each room flows into the next elegantly and helps you envision the products in your own home. The design throughout the entire gallery focuses on earth tones, nature, and bohemian-modern elements. It was easy to spend a lot of time inside the store just admiring how well everything was laid out and designed. It was a beautiful, peaceful place to visit.

Nick S.

Yelp
THE GARDEN GALLERY! Probably the prettiest store in the entire down. It felt like the home depot for plants and cute aesthetics if that makes sense... Anyways, you need plants and things of that nature. COME HERE FIRST! GF NOTES: "Enchanting"

Diane T.

Yelp
Beautiful garden shop to peruse multiple rooms, each with its own speciality. You'll have more ideas than you've ever imagined in the main room with the most beautiful table settings, choices of cook books, nicknacks galore, women's shawls, jewelry, candles, stuffed animals, and on and on. This is higher end so higher price tags will align with your goods, just note that ahead of time. Definitely a higher quality and many treasures are made to order or even local artist selections. Such a terrific meandering between their several shops to gain insight towards terrific gardening ideas! Plants outside are often rare & ticket matches accordingly. Come to explore and have the most wonderful sensory experience!

Poncho H.

Yelp
Whenever we are in Morro Bay the Mrs. loves to go and shop for plants. This is one of her favorite places to go. From the nice calm atmosphere to the beautiful plants and Knick knacks. The employees are always helpful and knowledgeable. Why is it we always come in The Garden Gallery with a smile and leave with plants and a smile. If you ever are looking for plants, Knick knacks, or just browsing.... Then check out this place.

Chris A.

Yelp
Great selection of different items. pricey. Love, all their succulents and different ideas for home design

Saralee S.

Yelp
As a sometime local, I usually have the luxury of having the Garden Gallery to myself and can wander at my leisure to admire the beautifully crafted displays and merchandise which lull me into a kind of other-worldly mindspace. When we stopped by recently on a Saturday, the place was jampacked with visitors. And I say visitors, not customers, because the place is appropriately named Garden GALLERY and not STORE since it is more like an art gallery with stunning displays of color and design that transcend mere merchandizing. They had done a good job of signage and floor stickers for social distancing, but people were galavanting all over in erratic paths to look at the succulents, vases, and plants. I do realize that store clerks are not police, and that when it is crowded on weekends, it is best to avoid if you are being careful about COVID. Weekdays are much calmer here! One good feature here is that the indoor space of the gallery is almost open air because of large doors and windows, so the fresh sea air circulates freely! I stayed in the garden area, and enjoyed the succulents on display, finding a couple that are not yet in my collection. I used to walk to the gallery every week and buy a new plant to add to my succulent collection, but have been starting anew as a COVID hobby. My true love here is the kitchen merchandise, and I still have some 20 year-old Bennington pottery loaf bread pans that I discovered in the little discount section near the children's goods. The displays of seasonal goods will not only light up your eyes, they will fill your heart with their whimsical charm, inspiring your future holidays! The check out clerk was beyond friendly and helpful, and she packed things up nicely. The spot for waiting for the cashier is right in the doorway, and that led to some awkward social distancing perambulations as we waited in line, but the customers were all friendly. I am looking forward to returning during the week for some more exploring of the indoor fantasy land!

Yelp
We love this nursery and visit it every time we come to Morro Bay. They have such great decorating ideas and some cute gifts as well. This time, we were particularly attracted to a frog statue for our backyard. He kind of represents my husband's semi retirement this month. Hopefully he'll be able to enjoy some extra coffee and reading time now, just like this little fog.

Inverleith F.

Yelp
What a treasure and pleasure for the eyes! Overload of beautiful succulents and decor. What my big takeaway is that the stuff I have at home is worth lots of money of I start putting them into little pots and selling them! I bought a few new plants and a cool oval pot to play with. A must stop if you are in Morro Bay.

Conor B.

Yelp
It's very easy to get lost in this place. And I say that as a positive, not a negative. It's a sprawling property with several different buildings/alcoves/etc. each with a different set of inventory. If it's outdoors and you want it, chances are this place has it. Finding an employee can sometimes be tough, but they're helpful and very friendly when you do interact with them. I've never had a bad experience with any employee here (or fellow customer to be honest). Everyone just seems to be happy to be here. I don't blame them. Downside? Parking. It's in a busy touristy area so chances are you will have to circle around the area trying to find a place to park resulting in parking a little bit of a walk away. If you're buying anything big (or a lot of small things as has often been the case with us) it could cause a problem. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and visit The Garden Gallery. You won't be disappointed.

Claudia Q.

Yelp
The Garden Gallery! Beyond magical, creative & special. By far, the best garden shop visited by us. We could had spent the entire day there if we could of. A coffee bar would had made this occasion even longer. Multiple rooms with many special gift, decor and gardening items. Every room well staged by theme & colored scheme Staff knowledgeable about gardening but also attentive and enthusiastic where they worked. Allie (please pardon if misspelled), a warm spirited, charming as well as professional demeanor was quick to assist us with our questions and requests. The Garden Gallery is a place to certainly visit when in Morro Bay! David and Claudia, Pacific Grove, California

Michelle C.

Yelp
On 12/8/23 we revisited the store the purchase an art piece we saw in October. The associate I asked for help acted like we were a bother and didn't belong (maybe like we couldn't afford the art piece) I literally told her never mind, and left! As much as I loved that art I'm letting it go because of how we were treated! This was my favorite place to go! Sadly, Never again!

Robin P.

Yelp
During covid group size is limited and there's signs telling you where to go with arrows and social distance spacing on the floor . Inside the Garden Gallery is relaxing . There was no charge to go inside and you can purchase the plants and pottery. They even have things like lotions and candy inside . This gallery is worth a visit.

Song K.

Yelp
Everything about The Garden Gallery is GLOOOOOORIOUS. The staff, the space, the inventory, and the location. We bought air plants at The Garden Gallery over a year ago, followed the advice of the staff on how to care for them, and they are still thriving. We go to San Luis Obispo once a year on business and always stop in Morro Bay specifically for The Garden Gallery and never leave empty handed or uninspired. They are definitely high up on my "when I win the lottery" list.

Eliza J.

Yelp
What a place! Garden Gallery is truly lovely! You can get lost perusing all the loveliness for hours, truly. May I State it's also beautifully expensive, but one never knows what can be found :-) I am a firm believer in want can outweigh price too :-)) At Garden Gallery you will find one of a kind planters, garden art, garden statues, in-house accessories; and, exotic plants/flowers. A lot of items are made by local artist, which I think is very cool. It's all beautiful and well crafted. Truly a place for plant, flower and art lovers alike :-)

David K.

Yelp
Really amazing store with a mix of beautiful plants and all things gardening and decor. Fiancé and I walked right past it the first time but on way back we wandered in before closing and went nuts. We bought a few things but felt compelled to come back the next day before heading home on vacation. Picked up a cane lighting fixture for our mid century bedroom and some decorative pieces. Staff very helpful! I would make this a must see along with the Shells Store.

CA R.

Yelp
My favorite store to visit on vacation. It has beautiful unique plants and home decor.

Nina M.

Yelp
First time at this orchard today had me in succulent heaven! There is an entire large showroom of various succulents and cacti and a good amount of air plants. I have an extensive variety of succulents in my home yet I was still able to find rare varieties to add to my collection. A nice starter plant costs $6 and the price is the same for most the varieties. There are also larger plants and multi-plant arrangements at various costs. The back has some pottery and accessories. I was able to purchase light colored "jade rocks" to add to my arrangements - this is not easy to come by in regular stores. Last but not least, the employee was happy to answer questions and bring out what I was looking for from the back. I highly recommend making a trip to this store whether you are starting from scratch or looking to add some fun new plants to your collection.

Roger M.

Yelp
Phenomenal indoor and out door gallery full of lots of pleasures and treasures galore. Unique or common items for inside your home or for outside your home Walk-through this expansive space, by space, each creating a feeling. I got a feeling you're going to walk away with something anyway. Or just walk your own way. It is a good day!

Agnes D.

Yelp
Love this place!! They have so much stuff here -- plants, rustic decor, books, plates, lighting... i can literally spend a few hrs here looking around and buying all kinds of stuff! We actually got some plates here years ago, that is so unique, i know we'll never see anywhere else.. that's why we got 'em..

Barbara B.

Yelp
A trip to Morro Bay is never complete until we stop by our favorite plant shop! My hubby and I just love their African Violets and succulents! Their African Violets are so vibrant and have unique coloring and they have such a wide variety of succulents, if there is a particular kind you are looking for, chances are you'll find it here.

T B.

Yelp
The Garden Gallery is a gem in this small fishing town, which tends to be full of more touristy, knick-knack shops. All of our trips to Morro Bay now include two must-do's: surfing the great waves and shopping at GG. We appreciate the eye of the buyer and the designer at Garden Gallery, as both are impeccable. It's fun to go into this shop and easily envision an item in your own home because it's displayed so well. We also enjoy the ambiance created in each of the different rooms, with vignettes showing diverse styles to attract many varied tastes. While others have mentioned prices being out of reach, we're actually impressed with the wide assortment of items in all price ranges. It's never possible to enter GG without purchasing, so buyer beware! In addition, we love that there aren't salespeople perched throughout the store, ready to jump on us and push a sale the second we look at an item. It's such a relief to shop at our leisure and ask questions or for help only when we actually need it. Our favorite associate at GG is Evie...who we know by name and wholeheartedly recommend! She is pure gold and goes out of her way to ensure customers are happy and taken care of when they have needs. Finally, there is a hidden little nook in this large store where there are benches and plants and a fountain...perfect for meditation or even a weary co-shopper who may require a rest while you spend an hour or two enjoying yourself in this beautiful Gallery. Morro Bay is lucky to have Garden Gallery and we're really happy to have found it! A must experience shop. Enjoy!

Cari T.

Yelp
This beautiful place has an endless amount of amazing plants, pots, fountains & decor. They are always so friendly and welcoming. If you need help picking out a plant or making your own succulent garden, the staff is very helpful. I personally would like to move in so I could absorb the calming atmospheres they have created in each area. You have to check out this hidden gem!!!

Steve A.

Yelp
Our stop in Morro Bay every year great selection of garden items and items for the home nice selection of garden sculptures and succulent plants

Cynthia B.

Yelp
I am vacationing in Morro Bay from from Rialto, Ca and came across this beautiful little shop. All the plants look so beautiful and healthy. There are many unique varieties of plants to choose from. I purchased a few plants and came back the next day for a few more. I was so pleased at how helpful and knowledgable the staff are. The representative allowed me to ask many questions regarding the care of the plants purchased. She even explained how best to transition my new plant babies from the climate here in Morro Bay to the higher, dry temperatures in Rialto. I do not remember her name, Im sorry, but the advise and education is much appreciated. I dont often yelp, but the staff here deserve the praise. Thank you.

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Omg I'm obsessed with this place. It's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside so go and walk around. There are different nooks - books, home decor, pots, plants, some kid stuff - just go in you won't be disappointed!!!!

Casey S.

Yelp
This place is magical. I found plants I had been looking for for ages, it was hard to restrain myself. The cashier was also very kind and helpful. I will definitely be visiting every time I come to town.

Kristy G.

Yelp
Disgusting. So on top of being complete ignored in the garden gallery (read my original post) this is how they choose to respond. Wow, absolutely sad. Edit (again): after receiving this sicking message I went and re-read their reviews yet again. It seems this place takes absolutely zero responsibility for anything that happens in their shop. They have a poor excuse for everything!

Stephanie L.

Yelp
One of the coolest nurseries/garden stores I've ever been to. They have the most beautifully compiled and artistically crafted planters, potted plants etc. There's a big emphasis on succulents but they also have gone decor items strewn about artfully. It's the perfect place to come for decorating inspiration or a housewarming gift. I even like to pop in here while my husbands across the street at the skateboard museum. It's just a neat place to peruse

Julia M.

Yelp
We travelled from San Jose to Morro Bay for the weekend, when I heard there was a large succulent store, I knew I had to go. It was such a treat and probably one of the highlights of the trip (sorry Morro Bay). The prices are reasonable and the selection is phenomenal. I picked out 4 beauties for my garden to take back with me. If I ever visit the area again, this will be on my list to re-visit.

Jennifer N.

Yelp
What a surprisingly unique and whimsical find in Morro Bay amidst the touristy tchotchke shops near the wharf. This is so much more than a garden store-it's a true gallery of garden design and outdoor inspired decor. They featured various rooms or sections that had different themes-birds, the ocean, holiday, etc. Looking back at my photos I'm kicking myself for not purchasing a little something from my visit. You can easily spend an hour taking it all in. Staff was great-there was one particularly belligerent customer trying to return something that went against their store policy. As she was causing a scene both the counter staff and the manager kept their cool. Such a lovely spot to get ideas for your indoor and outdoor spaces, be inspired to create a calm garden oasis or even pick up a gift or two (items ranging from Candles to books, framed artwork to small succulents abound.) Can't wait to visit the area again and spend more time at this wonderful local shop.

Hazel C.

Yelp
Amidst a sea of tacky souvenir and salt water taffy stores is this gem of a find. There the Garden Gallery stood next to a Japanese restaurant that looks like an office building, and across from stores selling t-shirts, magnets and shot glasses. What an unexpected find and an astonishingly beautiful gallery! You'd expect to find a gallery like this in Carmel or Beverly Hills, not on the Embarcadero in Morro Bay. My husband and I love succulents, and boy, does this place have a selection! There are individual and varieties of succulents aesthetically arranged in small, medium and large pots. There are also succulents of all sizes and shapes in plastic containers that you can buy. You can also buy herbs, potted flowers, and mix of flowers and succulents in pots. Garden decor, beautiful pottery, garden furniture, outdoor entertaining tableware and linens, and fountains can all be bought here. All these are artfully presented in different sections of the store, both inside and outside. We ended up buying four plants--two strange looking ones and two more normal looking ones to add to our growing collection in our garden. Our total came to $27 which was not bad at all. Too bad that we really can't add any more stuff in our garden. I would have bought more plants here! Even if you're not looking to buy a plant, stop by here. It's a beautiful and peaceful place. Check out the succulents. You may find that you have room for one of them after all!

Laurent O.

Yelp
Dishonest owner ! Item was on sale and they modified price at checkout by changing $ sign into a 1 ! Would not admit they did it and did not honor price ! Did not want to ruin my day so walked away and by the way as an FYI such practice according to California B&P Code, 12024.2 is completely illegal ! Bad business practice too bad !

Lauren P.

Yelp
Came here with my fiancé, our kids, my sister, her kids and husband. Adult/child ratio 1-1 and one child is a infant. The point being they were very well supervised. We happen to find the "kids corner area" that was full of jelly cat stuffed animals. They're our sons favorite stuffed animals and they had the matching books for a lot of them. One of the store employees came over and had a look of disgust and made a big sigh and had a look of annoyancebecause the kids were being kids with the stuffed animals (plus I told my son he could pick one out). My sister politely said "don't worry, we will be putting everything back. We're local and my brother in law is a local business owner and we honestly believe in the "shop local and support local communities and stores", but after the rudeness that we encountered, I rather purchase the stuffed animal from amazon where you can get it for $5-$7 cheaper. Oh and to top it off, when we were leaving my sister said politely "were so sorry, we won't be back" and the employee rudely replied with "PERFECT" in her rude tone.

V. P.

Yelp
I have shopped at the Garden Gallery for over 25 years and find wonderful merchandise there. However, I agree with another recent reviewer about the rude woman who answered the phone and acted as though she didn't give a hoot about customers. I suspect that woman (short with gray hair and the inability to smile) is an owner whose attitude has always sucked. And she has made sure her Princess Attitude is adopted by those who work for her. One wonders how her view of life became so jaded and unpleasant. And you will be fortunate if anyone is at the counter when you have a question or are ready to buy. They, like obedient little soldiers, have been trained to concentrate on stocking and restocking the wonderful merchandise.

Nicole A.

Yelp
This place is a gem for all things succulents, air plants, etc. and there is a huge selection of them all. I'm glad it was pointed out to me by a friend because I could not make up my mind on what I wanted since everything was gorgeous. For only $19 bucks I was able to get 4 items and walked away a happy camper.

Lisa J.

Yelp
Succulents, plants, decor galore!! I love this place!! Lots of room to social distance and rooms everywhere to explore seasonal decor and gifts! Peaceful outdoor area with plants, water structures, and garden items! You can't leave without buying a gift/plant for your loved ones or home! I'm visiting Morro Bay and whenever I'm here I have to stop by!! Go by you will not regret to take a peek inside!

Darlene C.

Yelp
A plant wonderland!! My first time here was on Halloween and I purchased a philo birkin and a Begonia Rex and I appreciated the young lady who helped me out at checkout! She was kind enough to offer care advice for the philodendron asking if I've owned one before. The plant was pricey but that's because the plant is very special! Thank you for providing a wholesome plant business

Wendy K.

Yelp
I shopped here during a short vacation in the area and LOVED all their merchandise. I spent quite a bit of money on a variety of items (worth it!), including a hanging wind chime/bell. It didn't come in a box, and the staff person wrapped it lightly in some paper. Sadly, when I got home to Oakland, it was completely tangled and I could not untangle it. I called the next morning and explained the situation (I couldn't take it back, because I'm out of town). They immediately shipped me a new one--untangled in a box--ready to hang, and included a UPS free return label to return the damaged wind chime. THIS is what good customer service looks like. Thank you, Garden Gallery
