The Gardener's Cottage

The Gardener's Cottage is a charming gift shop where inspiration meets imagination. Located in beautiful Old Town Temecula, they have something for everyone to enjoy. We had a chance to visit this delightful gift shop on Thanksgiving Day. The Gardener's Cottage is nicely decorated with vast array of eclectic merchandise including assorted collection of Temecula souvenirs, personalized name frames, decor for the garden, soaps, candles and jewelry galore, heartfelt cards and humourous signs, and so much more! The prices were reasonable. The lady at the front desk was very polite and friendly. She greeted us with a warm smile. This magical gift shop is highly recommended while visiting Old Town Temecula and the surrounding area.

When in Old Town Temecula we always visit The Gardener's Cottage. It is a very special experience when entering the store because it is attractive and relaxing to browse there. There are a variety of items from attractive garden decor, home decor, unusual items to gifts. During Christmas they carry beautiful ornaments and Christmas decorations. Would highly recommend stopping by The Gardener's Cottage when visiting Old Town Temecula and the general area.

Ever since I moved to Temecula years ago, The Gardener’s Cottage has been a landmark for me on the corner of 6th and Front street in the Chapparal Center. This is one of those adorable gift shops you do NOT want to miss when you visit beautiful Temecula Wine Country and Historic Old Town. They have a little of everything for everyone and they go beyond simply garden decor, they have beautiful gifts, wine country souvenirs, home decor and more! Best of all, their customer service is amazing. Every time a customer walks in, they are greeted kindly and welcomed in. My kids love to walk through and see what new items are in stock. If you need a gift for someone special in your life, stop by The Gardener’s Cottage for a truly unique item! I guarantee they’ll have the perfect gift that you wouldn’t have even thought of. Looks small from the outside but the place is fairly large and is packed. Great place for gift shopping. Some unique items I haven’t seen before, like the pinched rocks. In the Chaparral Center, in Old Town Temecula. Parking can be a challenge, by the way.

Beautiful and unique store. You can buy things for your garden and home. Even buy a sweet gift for a loved one. Quality items. Everything is well kept, clean and organized. Always a fun trip inside this store.

There is something for everyone on your list in this charming shop. Take your time or you will surely miss a treasure. We visited from the Midwest in late sprimg... in August, Ann helped me shop by text. She was awesome, exceeding my expectations!

Every time I come to Temecula. And it is quite often ... I have to stop by the little gardeners cottage . It is the sweetest shop to find anything unique, special, personal and fun . I always buy something, but this is my first review and of course I had to buy a couple of fun cards and a sourdough book that just came in . This shop is not just for gardeners. It's for anyone who's having a birthday a celebration that just loves life in general they've got ornaments, stationary cards, jewelry, soaps, and the largest selection of fairies I have ever seen.

Fun little store on old town packed with a wide variety of items. Everything from socks to garden items, books, cards, stuffed animals, Christmas ornaments, and a lot more. Prices seems to be reasonable, not outrageous. Parking on the street in front of the store, or surrounding pay lots. The cashier was friendly and nice. Location is not far from the freeway and on the main street.

This place was stinking adorable, there is just so much to look at, it was all kind of overwhelming, but in a good way. We didn't buy anything (this store is pretty pricey as goes anything located in Old Town), but we had a blast perusing all the fun trinkets, statues, figurines, planters, garden items, candles, baby area, gifts, etc. I loved how everything was separated by a theme and it had a wonderfully whimsical feel to it all, I would be totally content to just live in this garden oasis.

Always love browsing through this store as they have some cute trinkets and things for your yard. A few years ago we bought some metal outdoor butterflies to hang on the house and we are still enjoying them years after. Today I bought a cute mini flag as I've been wanting one for the spring season. Always a must to see what's new at the shop.

Fun and interesting place, filled with unique gifts. The woman that assisted us was friendly. The prices are fair for the location and their authenticity. This is one of my mother's favorite places to go in Temecula. They have beautiful ornaments for Christmas BTW.

This place was so cute! We vacationed here in town and this little place is quaint and it's just inviting you in to see what they have. I liked all of the cacti outside and the metal garden decor.

This is a great store for Knick knacks and stuff like earrings for your loved ones, greeting cards, miniature dragonflies and mushrooms for small indoor and outdoor gardens. I've purchased many items here for my Best Friend; Earrings she still wears, Scented Candles she still burns and many small butterflies, mushrooms & dragonflies adorn her houseplants for herself and for others to enjoy. I'm sure there's items in this store that I haven't seen yet or come across. A Fun place to shop if you need a card or want to find something different for a change Service is always good ~ Prices are Very Reasonable

Great shabby chic stuff but alittle pricey than I remember. I still caved and purchased a garden sign for my collection of garden flags. I love to come and see what new items they feature Gnomes, Gnomes Gnomes. Everywhere

I have been shopping at the Gardener's Cottage for years. When the business left Riverside, I followed them to their current location in Temecula Ca. Now out of state, I call to order my favorites and they ship through the USPS. My favorite NEW BABY GIFT is the cd of birds singing. It's delightful. Imagine waking up with bird songs? "Peace in the nursery", I say. Thank you to Cindy Bell. Her Customer Service is over the moon. She's dedicated to making the gift special. She Wrapped it, attached a blue ribbon and even included a note from me. Do yourself a favor, visit them and you'll find items you didn't even know you needed. It's a " Top of the Line" gift store. Very adorable gift shop the family decided to hit up first when reaching old town. There's an interesting assortment of signs, gifts, photo frames, and more to browse from while avoiding the heat outside. We ended up buying a couple of the signs they had, though we left to avoid buying more things that tempted us. There's a very adorable section for teacher appreciation goods which my sister in law thought was very cute. They also had photo frames with the meaning of a person's name on it for an awesome gift for parents to give their children!

Such a precious place with aisles and aisles to look through. No matter who you are, I'm sure you can find something there for you! My favorites are the horse signs (quite the crack up!) and the fun toys for kids. Always have a wonderful time when I visit. 5/5!

By far my favorite gift shop in Temecula. Tons and tons of great little items. I especially love the many frogs. Soo many gift items. A great store.

We stopped here yesterday as we were waiting for my brother in Escondido for the day. I remember this place growing up as a child and I was excited to see it again. The women were very sweet and they even did a cute demonstration on the cool growing snow. Lots of cool knick knacks and they even had a little fairy garden supply center. The only thing that made me kinda sad was I remember going down into the building where there was a bunch of little Shops in the hallway now it's closed down, the register sits right in front of it. But that's just my memories from my childhood peeking through.

This is a fun boutique to browse around in for garden, home and yard gifts. The eclectic mix of products ranges from spiritual, entirely practical, the everyday and the unique items. We have shopped here a number of times over the last 5 years and the content changes considerably, so there is new stuff to investigate and discover. A locally owned business, so who doesn't like to support the community. They have lots of cards, too.

Charming, good quality gift shop with many pretty stained glass and garden art items. I like that they carry gnomes and fairies, two things I love to collect for my garden. And the wind chimes are unique too. And so much more. A great store and great owners. A great place to find something special at a fairly reasonable price. Oh joy, they have more stores, one just down the freeway from my home, in Riverside in the Canyon Crest area.

So many unique and interesting gifts. I love the sweet fairy garden decor and ocean/mermaid items. I always know I can find an unusual gift or last-minute birthday card. They have the longest hours here in Old Town, open from 9 to 7; we often stop in before or after dinner to browse around

One of my FAVORITE places to shop for gifts. Such a great selection of unique and out of the norm items. My favorite McCalls candles are sold here and they always have cute Items for the garden and home. I'd highly recommend it for those who like boutiques. Parking can be rough so go early or be patient! The employees are so friendly and willing to help. I love how they wrap gifts. And if u buy a gift card u will get a piece of art; but when u redeem the gift "card" you give the art back I've had tree bark paintings as well as Christmas cookies. Cute and creative. Just go to this store. You'll love it

I went here with Debra R and Jose R. We bought a ton of tea, a key hook, and earrings. The customer service was good and the store was nice and clean.

Such an awesome place. Had sooooo much to choose from. I was happy to run into this little place! They gift boxed my present to my grandma so cute, I don't even need a bag for the gift! Oh, I'm so excited to go back.

Love this place....lots of fun unique items. You really could be in this store for a good hour browsing through all the fun unique items. I have purchased numerous items from this store.My favorite find is a glass globe hummingbird feeder, it hangs on a Shepard hook and looks amazing in my yard. I wander in here every couple months and always leave with a bag in my hand.

Cute, whimsical, interesting, and fun. This shop is all of that. It features an assortment of decorative housewares, lotions, creams, soaps, greeting cards, ornaments, toys, signs, and more. I found the prices to be reasonable. Not super expensive or cheap. For instance, I bought a wooden sign for $12.77 which is not the cheapest but was full of value because of it's fully painted design and one of a kind look. It's like an art piece in my home. The shop keepers let you shop and look at your leisure which I liked. Probably because they have cameras throughout the store so they don't have to worry about theft. Either way, I enjoyed taking my time and looking at everything. Inside they play nice music and there are soothing bird sounds as well from some of their offerings. I liked the store a lot as an experience and as a place to shop. Definitely recommend although I would say if you have small children, you may want to avoid because there are fragile items and displays that wouldn't go well with little kids that like to touch, run, or play. I stopped in The Gardener's Cottage today while visiting Temecula! The shop has lots of interesting and unique home and gift items. Also, SYLVIA PAULSEN provides FABULOUS customized service! She is knowledgable about her inventory as well as the city! It was a pleasure to meet her and have her help me with a couple special gifts!

Interesting store! BUT what got me was how rude the lady was who works there.. I was the only one in the store and she never said a word! Yes, she did see me! Then I am walking through a narrow isle and she remains in my path putting away cards! I finally said excuse me...Not sure if she's the owner (tall short hair blond lady) I don't think I'll be back!
