The George Inn

The kitchen was not on its best form form. Although the view, staff and atmosphere was very nice, the wait was too long for the mediocre food. Although most meals were quite tasty, it was nothing special, and the Brazilian fish stew left my sister feeling quite ill.

We have eaten at The George a lot, over the last year and we have never been disappointed. The food is amazing, the staff are so friendly and accommodating, we can’t recommend The George enough.

Lovely Sunday dinner today, well worth a visit

Lovely old proper country pub and dog friendly too. ( sorry about our 2 being yappy 🙄 ) The beef curry was honestly the best I've ever had. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Glad we went while staying locally for a weekend away. Go you won't regret it !!!

Stopped for a pint on New years Eve and booked lunch for New years Day absolutely brilliant 👏
