We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. My wife and I even call it an “amazing trip,” since we visited right between summer and winter. Our experience was made even better by the exceptional hospitality of the staff, who were always warm and welcoming. From the moment we stepped up to the front desk, Anna greeted us with her beautiful smile and energetic vibe. She helped us a lot by recommending great local restaurants and places to visit, she really knows everything, and her suggestions were 100% spot-on. The rooms were tidy, and the housekeeping staff were very kind and helpful. The only thing we noticed was that the breakfast area could use a bit of improvement. The food wasn’t very warm or fresh, and the service could be more attentive, especially since it wasn’t too busy. We’re confident these are easy things for them to work on. Overall, we loved our stay and will surely come back, next time with our kids! 😊

The hotel staff and manager were very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were cleaned regularly and the hotel grounds were presentable. Overall, I'd say that one of the biggest strengths of this hotel is the level of hospitality. I found the manager to be particularly helpful and responsive. Reception staff were warm and always greeted guests with a smile and professionalism. Whilst there are some areas for development that previous reviews have touched upon, I had pleasant stay and appreciated their efforts.

My boyfriend and I stayed at The George while exploring St. Julian’s, and we couldn’t have picked a better location. Everything was within walking distance, just 10 minutes to the beach and surrounded by great restaurants. The room was clean, well-organized, and super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and we loved relaxing at the rooftop pool with cocktails. We also made great use of the indoor pool and highly recommend the steam room for a bit of extra relaxation. A perfect stay overall!

We had such a great time staying at The George while visiting St. Julian’s. The location couldn’t be better, everything was super walkable, from the beach to all the restaurants, bars and the center of the city in general. Our room was really cozy and clean, and the vibe of the hotel overall was just super chill and modern. We started each morning with a delicious breakfast and spent our afternoons lounging by the rooftop pool with cocktails (major win). The indoor pool and steam room were perfect for winding down after a long day out. Honestly, we’d totally stay here again.

Holiday for 4 nights. Hotel did the job, good location to get everywhere, but could do with a bit of a spruce up. Our friends shower was poor and our room needed a good deep clean. The pool was nice on top of the hotel, but always very busy. I thought the drinks were highly overpriced and not sure why they sold Stella ( €9.50 a bottle ) - go to the shop next door and get a local beer for €2 ( Cisk ) and drink that by the pool. Food choice was also very expensive ( and limited choice ) Breakfast was very good with a great choice. Overall a solid 3 and ideal for a 4/5 night short break , very close to the restaurants in paceville. Spa was nice and my wife had a good quality deep massage. You can get the bus to most places, it just as easy to get a Bolt.

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful, but what truly made it special was Anna at the front desk. She is such a lovely person—so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble for her, and she answered every question with such patience and a smile. She really went above and beyond and stood out from anyone else we met. Anna has a wonderful personality and made us feel cared for every step of the way.||A special thank you also to the lovely housekeeping team, Prashant, Nabaraj & Bhim who looked after room 516 so beautifully.(hope I spelt your names right!!) I really hope you get all of the recognition you deserve 🥹||Because of Anna (and the kind cleaners), we’ll remember this stay very fondly. 💛|- Tamara & Marian, Room 516– 16th aug-23rd aug

Staff were 5/5 - receptionists were very cool and pleasant, room were clean. The hotel looks better on camera - not so much a catfish scenario but they know how to put up the best angles of the hotel online. |Directly opposite the hotel is a LIVE CONSTRUCTION SITE 🏗️… APPARENTLY TUI TELL YOU ABOUT THIS - I’m still trying to work out where because they were NOT HONEST about this from the start - must have been in the SMALL SMALL SMALL PRINT.||Breakfast was 5/5 - real quality English bacon, sausages, beans and toast. Fresh drinks with real sized glasses.||The pool upstairs on the roof was also nice with a bar…. Organised enough and spacious enough to have your own space.||I visited this place with my wife, 6 year old son and mum and we still all had a good experience.||Outside of the hotel is extremely noising and messy- there was rubbish just left on the corner - surprised we didn’t see rats 🐀 ||There’s a local store Akadia (wrong spelling) on the ajacant/parallel road - alcohol,|Hot food and snacks were there and reasonably priced.||Uber and Bolt run the show so easy to manoeuvre.||Come and of the hotel - turn right - walk up until you reach the end - turn right then you are in the centre of it all - turn right again and you can go shopping and buy take away food or bare to the left and you can go to the loveliest restaurants over looking the water ||Cool spot but the external dirty environment and construction site loses points - that being said - I would still recommend visiting regardless of age or group

The staff were friendly but for a boutique hotel there are a number of things that let it down. The room we had was spacious enough and the molten brown toiletries were a nice touch, however expensive toiletries and really cheap toilet roll didn’t fit. Where our room was situated every time the lift moved you could hear the clunk of the mechanism which became frustrating at all hours of the day and night. The pool areas need some serious TLC, the decking around both the indoor and roof top pools is rotten, loose, splintering and has nails protruding that will cut bare feet, this was not repaired despite it being reported more than once. The rooftop pool became increasingly dirty as the week went on and while we witnessed the chlorine top up there was no evidence of any other cleaning taking place. The sunbeds had no cushions and as they were ratan effect often left imprints on bodies, with wheels that fall off or damaged ratan from wear and tear, without cushioning they were not particularly comfortable, however towels were always freely available on the terrace. The building work going on opposite the roof had a slight annoyance on the 2 days they were really working, but this is not something the hotel can control. There appears to be a lot of construction across the island resort areas from what we saw when out and about. The hotel seemed to be inundated with hen and stag parties which would be ok if the walls were no so thin so all the noise is heard when returning from the party. The open continuous cannabis smoking (on one of our days there) around the pool led us to need to find an alternative activity. Breakfast was ok, however there was an inability to fry an egg but lots of other options available. The local shops sell some lovely food options for a cheap poolside lunch and you can get drinks to have around the pool rather than pay the inflated bar prices. There are lots of amenities in close proximity and regular bus timetable to most places that are easy to work out. People are friendly and happy to help if you get stuck. |Rooms were cleaned daily and there was a fridge and tea and coffee facilities in the room. |The hotel is a good location for the party town goers who want to be out until 5am and there are some lovely restaurants in close walking proximity, staff were also happy to help with recommendations. Overall an OK stay but wouldn’t go back.
