The George, Urban Boutique Hotel

Stayed here for 3 nights. First time stay in Malta. Huge rooms, lovely spa pool, but most importantly the staff were lovely, especially Ana, who had a very lovely friendship with my 3 year old. Will definitely be back to this hotel. Lovely experience 🩷

We stayed here for our anniversary and everything was perfect. The room was beautifully decorated for us, the standards were very high, breakfast was amazing, and the staff were always friendly and smiling. Truly a special experience, highly recommended!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. My wife and I even call it an “amazing trip,” since we visited right between summer and winter. Our experience was made even better by the exceptional hospitality of the staff, who were always warm and welcoming. From the moment we stepped up to the front desk, Anna greeted us with her beautiful smile and energetic vibe. She helped us a lot by recommending great local restaurants and places to visit, she really knows everything, and her suggestions were 100% spot-on. The rooms were tidy, and the housekeeping staff were very kind and helpful. The only thing we noticed was that the breakfast area could use a bit of improvement. The food wasn’t very warm or fresh, and the service could be more attentive, especially since it wasn’t too busy. We’re confident these are easy things for them to work on. Overall, we loved our stay and will surely come back, next time with our kids! 😊

Rooms are a bit tired/dated. Wall fixtures/seats needing a bit of tlc. Breakfast didn’t have much flavour and staff are slow to refill when run out (milk/bowls etc) and deferred 2 of the days we stayed. Good location however in middle of town with construction going on both sides of hotel (you will see Malta a lot of cranes building 5 storey apartments after legislation change). Room was sound proofed fine and beds were comfortable along with a nice shower. Spa pool/hot-tub can be modernised however still usable. Trip advisor winner 2013.. think 12 years later it needs a bit of a refurb.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. However it is Paceville which is the clubbing district so you can hear loud music until around 2am. The rooms are clean but a bit dated. There were no veggie breakfast options but that is more of a niche complaint. There is free water in the reception area and staff were happy to hold my case for a few hrs, thry brought an iron and board straight to my room on request and they also reopened the indoor pool for me, so the staff could not have been more accommodating.

The hotel staff and manager were very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were cleaned regularly and the hotel grounds were presentable. Overall, I'd say that one of the biggest strengths of this hotel is the level of hospitality. I found the manager to be particularly helpful and responsive. Reception staff were warm and always greeted guests with a smile and professionalism. Whilst there are some areas for development that previous reviews have touched upon, I had pleasant stay and appreciated their efforts.

I have stayed here a handful of time and every time it has been a very pleasant stay. The suites with the Kitchenette are wonderful even having the balcony despite construction going on outside is still lovely. Antoine the hotel GM and his manger super nice along with the hotel staff.

If only the hotel has a mini gym to completely get l 5 stars. Additionally, the indoor pool, sauna, and steam are amazing however, the staff in there are nonexistent.
