What a wonderful place the Georgetown Historic Inn is. Beautifully presented, the room we had was the attic room, Lady Slipper on the top floor. The bed was very comfortable and room very cosy and quiet. We had dinner at the restaurant which was delicious and the waitress was very friendly and organised for us to have breakfast prepared for us first thing when restaurant opened, as we had to leave soon after. We appreciated the efficiency at check in and chat with the owner aftewards. We unfortunately only stayed one night, Georgetown is a sweet little town and worth a visit.

It is our first time to PEI, this was the perfect spot for the first night ! After landing in Charlotte in the afternoon we took the short drive to Georgetown. The Inn is adorable. They have decorated it to be period correct and it’s very tasteful and full of character ! We stayed in the Harbour Room with access to the outdoor deck. The room was very spacious with a private bathroom and perfect decor. Breakfast selections were included with our overnight stay. The Inn is within walking distance to all the Georgetown to dos. The server at breakfast was so helpful with things we definitely need to check out while in PEI. He provided us with maps and excellent recommendations of beaches and lighthouses along the East Point drive. If we are ever back in PEI I would book a stay here for sure.

If you enjoy quaint historic inns and phenomenal service then the Georgetown Inn is a MUST on your bucket list. Bob and Chelsea are incredibly gracious hosts and the inn’s location in the center of Georgetown is a great jumping off point to explore the eastern end of PEI. The rooms are immaculate and the furnishings compliment the historic nature of the inn. We frequently ate at the restaurant and each time we very satisfied with the quality of the food and service. All seafood is fresh and local. A couple of the rooms have associated balconies that overlook the Georgetown harbor.

this is a beautiful location we were sorry we only got to spend one night. The room itself we got to get the captain‘s room was so beautifully turned out. The bed was so comfortable and bob took care of us beautifully. The staff at the restaurant was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed every minute of our stay there.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Georgetown Inn on our drive across the continent! The Captain's Suite was comfortable and beautifully decorated (seriously, great mattress!). The food at the restaurant was fantastic — we loved every meal. The service throughout our visit was exceptional; Bob and Chelsea made us feel so welcome! One of the highlights of our stay was getting out on Captain Perry's boat (Tranquility Cove Adventures) such a fun experience! We can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend!

Historical inn brimming with character, great service, and nice rooms. Entering the building felt like I was transported back in time to the Victorian ages with a very unique building where all the rooms are distinct. Bob was very friendly and approachable, and check-in was a breeze. We stayed in the Red Oak room with two queen sized beds. Rooms were very nicely furnished with antique furniture, but modern amenities. They were clean, well kept, and had a character all to themselves. The building also has a very pretty balcony (pictured) where you can sit with a glass of wine to enjoy the beautiful island weather. The location is within walking distance of the waterfront, and perfect for a stay in the quaint and quiet town of Georgetown.

I had to come to Georgetown for a work trip and this Inn was a perfect spot. The room is spacious and comfy. The real treat was the restaurant. The fish burger I had on my first night was beyond delicious. Breakfast is included with your nights stay and there were plenty of options. I decided to eat dinner again my second night and the chicken penne did not disappoint. Very reasonably priced, large portion the pasta was cooked just right and the sauce was incredible. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and lovely to chat with. I have spent a lot of time on the island but this was the first visit to Georgetown. I have already made plans to return with my husband.

Yelp
had the eggs Benny, the hollandaise sauce was gross,, so didn't eat my meal. The server never checked on us the whole meal, they told our lates (I said I didn't like the sauce), they charged us for it. When spoke to the owner, the bullish women barged into my partner abs friends conversation, I said can we speak over here on the side, she rudely said no, so our friend got up and left. She said she's charging because they make millions of eggs Benny and everyone loves it so it's my problem not theirs. I said no problem but never again. the servers were non existent and the owner a bully and rude.

Yelp
I stayed here this past Sunday night with my girlfriend. Upon entering the B & B we were immediately greeted by Melvin (Joel and Dawn were gone for the year) who showed us around the place and eventually to our room. The downstairs was not too much to look at with a sitting room on one side and the restaurant portion on the other side. It was interesting to be able to walk around the restaurant while it was closed though. The room that we had reserved was the Harbour Room and inside it had a big bay window which you could sit in front of, a comfortable bed as well as a shared deck which gave an impressive view of the harbor. Overall, the accommodations were nice and the bluish color scheme to the room made it feel homely. The breakfast in the morning was good and we were invited to be seated in the restaurants dining room. Shortly after being seated we were given a choice of coffee or tea and were also given a glass of Orange Juice. At this point Melvin informed us that we would be getting omelets with toast and gave us a toast selection between white, whole wheat and multi-grain. I chose the whole wheat and everything was served shortly thereafter. The breakfast plate consisted of some slices of watermelon, strawberries, an omelet, toast and a freshly made jam from real raspberries. Everything was good and I especially enjoyed the jam which you could tell was fresh and also tasted very sweet. The bottom line for me is that I would definitely stay in the future if I was in the area. I was disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open but we did visit in the off season. It was easily offset by the friendliness of Melvin and the charms of the old house.

Yelp
I stayed at the charming Georgetown Inn in May 2012. I was in PEI directing a segment for a travel show. The hotel is located right in the center of historic Georgetown and is easy walking distance to the waterfront. The inn has eight guest rooms which vary in themes. I stayed in the "harbor room" and had a view of Georgetown harbor. The breakfast was delicious and it was a nice opportunity to meet the other guests at the inn. The breakfasts are full breakfasts, not your typical continental buffet. You will not leave hungry! The staff is friendly and the common areas around the inn are warm and inviting. We even filmed a scene for our show on their deck as the inn looks so quaint. PEI is a beautiful place and should you find yourself in the area look up the folks at the Georgetown Inn.

Yelp
The area has nothing to offer. The town has a playhouse that might have some entertainment. They would not let us out of the reservation. Yes it's historic but the whole town is one step from folding. There is nothing out here worth seeing. Stay closer to Charlottetown. Can't wait to get out of here.

Yelp
Disappointing and overpriced. Burned rolls and biscuits. They ran out of elbows for their mac and cheese, I could understand this if the pasta were made in house but it isn't. Very limited seafood on the menu, also a disappointment but we were out of restaurant choices. I really regret giving a bad review knowing how important tourism is, but they need to up the game here.
