We went on the Ghost Bus Tour, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! Our tour guide, Ben, and driver, Chris, were absolutely fantastic. The tour was not just spooky and educational, but also hilarious — I couldn’t stop laughing and smiling the entire time.The bus itself was clean, comfortable, and perfectly atmospheric for a ghostly adventure. Both Ben and Chris were so friendly, sweet, and engaging, making the night even more memorable. I’d definitely recommend arriving early to grab a good seat, because this is one ride you don’t want to miss! I do recommend bringing some holy water though!

Absolutely brilliant experience with London’s Ghostbus Tours! From start to finish it was slick, spooky, and laugh-out-loud funny. A special shout-out has to go to Stan Broker, who was utterly hilarious and brilliantly entertaining. His timing, delivery, and sheer commitment to the role made the whole tour unforgettable — genuinely one of the funniest live performances I’ve seen in ages. He had the whole bus in stitches while still keeping the eerie atmosphere spot on. The mix of London history, dark humour, and theatrical storytelling is perfectly balanced, and the whole production feels polished and professional without ever losing its charm. If you’re visiting London, or even if you live here, this is an absolute must-do. I’d happily go again just to see Stan perform it all over again.

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to London! Our actor, Cedric Burke, was hilarious and very knowledgeable about the history of London. It was wonderful getting to see the different areas that we hadn't been to yet from the 2nd story of the bus and seeing the city at sunset was beautiful. I highly recommend the ghost bus tour!

Enjoyed the tour so much I went on it a second time, the first time we had Stan, he was brilliant and made the tour exciting and fun, the second time we had Hugh who was hilarious and had everyone laughing with his antics, I recommend going on the tour and would definitely go a 3rd time! I visited London with 3 friends for a birthday celebration at the weekend. Fantastic original tour. We wanted to try something a bit different. I found the Ghost bus tour on Google and saw the reviews so we went ahead and booked it. Our tour guide Hugh Focker was marvelous. Very entertaining. Full of lots of interesting and grusoome facts. He moved around the bus and interacted with the passengers. We had a good giggle chatting to him. We drove round some of the main sites. We saw Trafalgar Square, had a very good view of Big Ben, drove along the river. I would highly recommend it. We all had so much fun.

Had a brilliant time on the ghost tour. A perfect mix of spooky history and humour, without taking itself too seriously. Our host Stan Broker was excellent, genuinely funny, engaging, and a great storyteller. He really brought the stories to life and kept everyone entertained throughout. Would absolutely recommend this tour, especially if you want something fun and different to do in London.

One of the best parts of our London Trip in early January 2026. Perfect for young and old fans of the spooky and the creepy. The tourguide was an absolute delight (we sadly didn't catch her name) and everything ran smoothly. We learned a lot and would absolutely recommend The Ghost Bus Tours to anybody who wants to see the beauty that is London from a slightly different perspective.

I absolutely loved this experience!!!! We had an issue with our reservation (our own fault) and they were very understanding/helped work with us to find a solution. Very much appreciated that. Cedric was HILARIOUS. Seriously, get your butts on this tour. It's a great way to see the city, hear fun, and ghoulish facts about the city-frankly, I was thoroughly entertained the ENTIRE time. Really wanted to love this, but for the price, not at all worth it. We were staying at the hotel that this picks up at, so decided to go during our trip. We bought our tickets about 3 days in advance, showed up on time and waited about 20 minutes after our time was supposed to start. When the bus finally showed up, they told us that they were running behind, so we weren't on the list. "Luckily," they were able to squeeze us in, or I think we would have had to wait another whole hour. They don't have any sort of queue system, so everyone just waits on the sidewalk and then rushes the bus when it arrives with no organization whatsoever. I believe tickets were about $60 USD, which seemed like a lot to me, so I figured it must be great. I wish I would've read more reviews beforehand because it's just super corny, and you can't see anything they are pointing out if you're seated on the from the lower part of the bus. Eventually, they have you close the window shades and participate in a mock séance. Our host was good, I suppose, but, again, just really corny. If you're interested in a ghost tour, choose a walking one where you can actually see and learn the stories.

The tour guide was very energetic and he acted his heart out but there could be so much more in that tour. They could have hired a nurse to walk in front if the hospital When we stopped at the hospital . There could be actors on the bus playing ghosts instead of a video which was totally fake looking . How about somebody walking around with blood clothes or something. Even a little more use of the effects they already had at their disposal Like the lamps or the smoke . Could be so much better .

I would not recommend this tour. The best thing about it was the audio track they play while the bus is parked. It is not interesting or scary and not in the slightest bit entertaining. Save your money and don't waste it away on this tourist trap like I did.

myself and others wanted to take the ghost bus tour. It should have been easy and convenient since boarding was in front of my hotel. However their website was not allowing booking and the driver did not have anything to accept credit card payments. When I had asked the driver about availability of 7:30 about 25 minutes before then he did not say anything about that and just said to show up at 730

Don't fall for the tourist trap! For our first trip to London from the States, we were excited to explore the city with our son. The ghost bus itself was great, but the acting was outright terrible. The gentleman actor shared it was his first night on the job, as he held out his hat for tips. His training was far from what I would call 'highly professional' as he dragged on his stories with multiple repeated statements, "ladies and gentlemen" and a prolonged death scene. I feel that we wasted an hour and a half of our limited time in the city doing the tour. We read other reviews (after the fact) and were surprised to see so many positive ones. The experience was very disappointing, and we hope that others do not have to suffer spending their time and resources.

Super cheesy, but hella fun. The tour departs from the Grand Hotel which is in the center of London. It's a gorgeous building and there's a tour guide standing in front to make sure you know where to go and you're in the right place. The bus is well, cheesy, but fun. It's an old "hertz" or funeral car as they say in London, and it's a double decker (which is helpful if the people on the top or the bottom are too chatty and you can't hear your tour guide). The tour takes tour through all of the prime locations in London which is AMaZING!!! You get to learn so much history and see beautiful sites. Beware, it's cheesy. I won't ruin the surprise but you've been warned, it's cheesy but fun.

Absolutely great tour. Like a scary comedy show. Real history and legends. A full hour and a half of fun. Well worth the price.

I LOVED every minute of the interactive tour! I'm all about ghost stories and creepy history and this tour delivered. Guide was hilarious and spot on. So sorry I cannot remember his name to give him credit where due. If on the fence DO IT.

This is the perfect way to see London. You have the history, the sightseeing, the views all while being incredibly entertained. I am so glad I found this while looking at bus tours. Highly recommend!

I would say the tour was at best, OK. The narrator did have some funny on liner jokes and did provide some interesting facts. I won't provide details so as not to spoil it for those that want to go, but could have done without the "surprise" ending. As many have said in their reviews this is a "cheesy" tour. So if you are expecting cheesy, have money and time to blow in London, why not. However, if you are on a limited budget with limited time, I suggest looking at other options before selecting this one.

Not ghostly at all. In fact, very disappointing. I was hoping for "real" stories of ghosts, haunting, murders, death, mayhem...got none of that on this tour. It was a silly acting escapade that imparted nothing of value. Sorry to be blunt...do not waste your time.

Amazing tour to see the creepy side of Edinburgh. Driver's great and creepy. And tour guide's hilarious. The bus has a very creepy demeanour and you get to go to a haunted graveyard. It's also very interactive!

Great fun and some interesting history thrown in. Interesting things were pointed out in places I have walked past a thousand times before and never noticed. Well worth a go. Get there early as the first people get the first choice of seats.

As long as you are not expecting some Shakespearean experience and that it is all a bit naff, then you will have a brilliant time. I went with 2 friends from work and we had an absolute hooley on the tour. The actress was funny and freaky, the bus conductor/narrator was really funny, had a sharp sense of humour and you genuinely felt that he loves his job. We were giggling with the stupidity of it, the quirky little effects, the one liners that had us laughing out loud. There are loads of interesting historic facts along the way too. I can't recommend this enough. I was with a Canadian and a Lithuanian who have very different humour to me and they loved it too. Clean fun!

This is absolute silliness! This big, black, double-decker tour bus does look a bit forbidding with its screaming skull on the side and destinations to 'Notting Hell' and "Earl's Corpse". The inside is outfitted with red velvet drapes and tiffany lamps at every window. The two-person seats are squishy and comfy and are set up to face each other so you can get to know your fellow tour mates. The tour guide is a raggedy lookin' fella that likes telling bad jokes and sneaking up behind people to shout in their ears. He tends to stay at the back of the bus where he speaks directly into a camera that projects his face onto the TV screens all over the bus. The black and white image and smoke machine add to the creepy effect. The tour starts at Trafalgar Square and putts around London for about an hour and 15 minutes. There are a few 'real' ghost stories and facts about the places we pass, but the main part of this tour is the theatrics put on by the tour guide and a 'Mr. Hinge' who appears later on the tour. Tickets are £18 online or you can buy them from the guide though I think they may be a bit more. All in all, this is a really fun trip and fantastic for getting you into the Halloween spirit. Just don't expect a serious history of haunted London!

It's a cold and rainy night in London. It's dark and more than a little stormy. What better way to celebrate the festive season with a trip on the Necrobus visiting some of London's most haunted sights and hearing stories about executions, hauntings and murders. Santa would be proud. The ghost bus looks the part. An old routemaster painted black with dark velvet curtains and poor lighting, the story goes that this particular bus used to transport the dead through London. It is indeed creepy. The host or storyteller did a good job and was the right mix of silly,scary and strangely attractive, maybe that's just me - I do tend to fancy the most inappropriate men... Being a bit of a fraidy cat I got a bit caught up in the moment. I was convinced someone was going to pop up behind my seat and scream at me. Or that the stories would be really scary. But it just wasn't that scary. The stories were as expected and the windows were so steamed up we couldn't see the places we were going past and talking about, which was a shame cos some of those gothic buildings give me the creeps! And the jokes we're of the tried and true 'dad joke' variety which is a bit silly, but which my male companion killed himself over. There's no accounting for humour. Would I recommend it? Sure, if you are new to town and want to do something touristic, especially if it's raining and the ever popular Jack the Ripper tour doesn't appeal in the wet nigh and the London Dungeon isn't open late. But at £20 it's not the best value attraction in London and I don't think I'd go again.

Cheesy. Disappointing. A group of 5 of us were going to be in London for the Chiefs/Lions game at Wembley, and when we realized we'd be there over Halloween, we started looking at fun things to try. The Ghost Bus Tour came up in a search and looked really cool so we bought our tickets. Upon arrival, we saw a HUGE crowd gathered around waiting for the bus. Our tour was scheduled for 9:15pm, but there were people there waiting who had been scheduled earlier but who still hadn't departed. The operators were trying to reschedule people, place them into groups, etc. Apparently, there was an event that had closed down a lot of roads that had caused them to have some serious delays...OK, not their fault, and they were trying to accommodate, so we were being patient with them. When we finally got on the bus, we were ready for something exciting......in their advertisement, they say they have "costumed actors" who present you with a unique entertainment experience. Imagine our surprise when the only "actors" we encountered were the tour operator and one other man who kept doing some random stuff going up and down from one level to another and staring wildly into the camera....and at one point, got off the bus altogether! The script was horrible, and they really didn't give much information at all about the locations that we passed. And the bus was going so fast, you really didn't even have time to see any of the locations anyway. Save your money and don't waste your time with this.

Brilliant tour. With the guide telling you of morbid history and pointing out the various esoteric interesting tidbits of history, as well as the common knowledge ones. Keep in mind what makes this necrobus tour special are the the guides. You have the initial tour guide and are later joined by Mr. Hinge. The two build the tour into an interesting mix of horror, comedy, and just out right fun. This is not so much a simple ghost tour as it is a giddy romp with ghost tour trappings. It is worth the price of admission just for the terrible puns, silly one liners, and interesting history.

Absolutely incredible. Honestly one of the greatest shows of my life. Margaret is absolutely incredible and hilarious. Vinny is pretty alright himself. If you're looking for an actual ghost hunt, this isn't the spot. If you're looking to let loose and have a kooky time, this is it, folks. Went with a school group, and was not disappointed. Of course it's cheesey, but that just added to the fun. There's never a dull moment. Whether it is the facts about where you are, the constant detours a la TfL, the plethora of corny jokes or the brilliant acting by Margaret, this tour comes to life. I came not so excited, and left more ecstatic off that bus than any other bus I've been on. If you're looking for some joy in your life, get a group of friends (who have a sense of humor and will play along), and go.

I booked this bus for my boyfriends 21st birthday and we had the best time! It was great because we wanted to surprise him so all of our friends and family boarded the bus before us and hid upstairs and a little later on we came along to greet this rather spooky looking bus man and got on and went up to greet everyone. The bus is decked out to look eerie, it reminded me Phantom Manor at Disneyland! You can take a trip on the bus individually or book it for private parties, I highly recommend this by the way! The bus takes you around all of the main sights in London that included death and horror stories, very interesting indeed! There are actors on board too, all fully in character as well as special effects to get your mind going and really get the right atmosphere! Expect a few twists and turns and beware of things that go bump in the night!

If you do one thing in London, this is the tour to take, no joke! Not only are the actors amazing, but you'll also learn a lot about the city, enjoy its history, laugh, get out of the bus and back on- from children to the elderly, this is truly a hit! Best city tour I've ever taken! We were on the edge of our seats and laughing constantly! We are extremely picky about tourist attractions, and performances and we were so impressed we'd go again! Less than two hours so not too long for the little ones too :)

Super fun and awesome information! Even tho there were some drunk a$$holes, they finally got off the bus and after that it became awesome. 33 Cock Street ... hahaha

Took this tour 2 weeks ago and it was great fun. They have 2 others throughout England and the York tour was just as good. I will take it again next time I am in London as it is just a great entertaining evening with good value for the money. Just hope the time tour bus will be available also. Keep up the fun. MDA.

This was the best! We had the greatest time. Laughed the whole time. Neat facts we didn't know, interesting and funny information we couldn't have known another way. We absolutely loved our guide(s) - 100% would recommend to any of our friends.

I really enjoyed the tour...there were some great fun facts and the guide and the actor had everyone laughing pretty much the whole time. It was a quick ride...only about 1 1/2 hours, wish it was just a tad longer...Which I guess is always best instead of wishing it was over!

I would honestly save my bucks and use something a bit more interesting. The data points he host used were good but it was not scary and there was another random gentleman who joined (part of the show) and who was super smelly. I would say for a work do this was a little less than ideal because ur stuck in one seat but it was a nice idea on their part.

This tour is expensive and in my view a complete waste of time. Hammy, boring and not at all scary the website/leaflets are incredibly mis-leading and the acting is atrocious. They do not seem able to stick to schedules and the bus broke down keeping everyone on board an extra hour. No proper apology or offer of a refund. I have never experienced a worse attraction and I have visited many cities across the world. These people are rude when you complain and seem to want to take your money and have no interest in whether or not you have had a good experience. A walking ghost tour or the London Dungeon offer far more. I would not waste my money if I were you....i WISH SOMEONE HAD ADVISED US.

Would highly recommend this tour. We went on this with my 13 year old nephew from Ireland. We all thoroughly enjoyed the trip which was blissfully silly and we were able to see this sights of London,including the Olympic Rings on Tower Bridge. Had a great laugh even though I found out later I had broken my ankle an hour earlier! Will go on again when we next have visitors from outside London.

My boyfriend surprised me with this earlier this year when we had a rare day off together. We sat downstairs with another group so there was only 6 of us downstairs while upstairs was full to the brim and I'm glad I wasn't squeezed in like a bunch of sardines was nice to have room to enjoy ourselves. Yes the jokes are corny and cheesy but overall I thought it was quite good. The stories were interesting and the tour guide knew what he was talking about and delivered it smoothly even though we repeatedly got stuck in road works he kept us interested. We want to go again in the summer with my boyfriend's family. Don't go if you want to be scared to tears it's not that type of tour but if you enjoy history, ghost tours, corny jokes and cheesiness plus the ability to laugh at yourself I highly recommend it.

We had such a fun time on the Ghost bus tour. It was our last night in London and we basically picked this tour because we didn't have to walk anymore. We were pleasantly surprised that it was so much fun. The actors were hilarious! And we learned some intresting things about the city we would not have otherwise. I recommend it.

Was highly excited to do a ghost tour in London, had even been looking forward to it before my arrival from the states! Was highly intrigued at the beginning of the tour when our tour guide was delivering cold hard facts but then another tour guide hopped on the bus to which my surprise commenced a theatrical event; which very quickly became a nuisance. It was a nuisance because I was not aware of a skit being involved but mainly because of our tour guide being too focused on the skit she would not finish explaining the stories & details. It was 90% theater, 10% facts. My family & I left EXTREMELY disappointed.

We booked 2 tickets online, but at the bus first we were told that we are not on the list (although having the booking confirmation). Finally we were offered 2 seats, 1 upstairs, 1 downstairs. Thats not exactly what you expect when you buy 2 tickets. As there was no solution to the problem, we asked for a refund and we were told that it is possible and that they come back to use. There was nothing from their side and until now I didnt manage to get the money back. So i wont go there ever again!
