The hotel was great. You can get the luas from Heuston station to the hotel. Loved the hotel. Staff are really friendly from reception to bar and restaurant. We were going to the Gaiety but because the Luas is outside the door very easy to get to city centre. Room we stayed in was lovely. Bottles of water available at reception and on the room.

Google
Lovely hotel, great location for Events at the 3 Arena, spacious and modern, the bedroom was really well laid out, very spacious clean and comfortable apart from the pillows which are too hard for sleeping. Only issues myself and my daughter had was that our room was not ready when we arrived and we had to wait until nearly 5 O'Clock for the room and we were tired after travelling a long distance. However we went for dinner in the hotel and the food/service was very good. Nice vibe in the restaurant/bar which overlooks the promenade area by the Arena.

It was such an amazing experience!||I went there for a baby shower and I can't believe how great the place was! The view from our venue was spectacular! The conference room was spacious as well.||The food was so tasty, kudos to the chefs! The servers were very accommodating! We had Marillia, Bonzai, Buyan, and Uyunn. We also played games in our event and the staffs gladly joined us as we needed a few more people for a game. All of them were so lovely and friendly. Everything was so perfect! ||Thank you Dominic for recommending the hotel and for having us! We will surely come back. ||Thank you so much Gibson Hotel.

Google
This review is about the Gibson’s restaurant. Our group ate dinner here tonight. We had a large group, but there were only a handful of other guests in the restaurant. We were seated at 7:00 pm. Our food orders weren’t taken for thirty minutes! It was over an hour before our salads arrived, another 30-45 minutes before our entrees arrived and one of our table mates’ food was lukewarm at best. He asked to have it warmed up and it returned charred! All in all, we didn’t finish our desserts until 9:45 pm!!! NEARLY 3 HOURS TO FINISH DINNER IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! The way staff was between apathetic and rude. STAY AWAY FROM THE GIBSON AND ITS RESTAURANT!

Had a fantastic experience here! The food was absolutely delicious — compliments to Chef João for the incredible flavors, best steak sandwich ever. Patrick, the waiter, made me feel very welcome. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!||Letting my friends know about this place asap! |Well done guys

I've stayed at The Gibson Hotel over 15 times, and each visit reinforces why it’s my top choice in Dublin. Its prime location—just a short stroll from the city center and with a train station right outside—makes it incredibly accessible, perfect for both leisure and business trips. The rooms are always spacious and spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and showers that are consistently hot and powerful. However, what really sets this hotel apart is its outstanding customer service. I must give special mention to the day crew, particularly Gerry, whose warm and proactive attitude makes every morning start on a positive note. His readiness to assist and his genuine care for guest comfort really shine through. Equally impressive is Thomas from the night crew, whose commitment to ensuring a seamless stay never goes unnoticed. Whether it’s a small request or a more pressing issue, Thomas is always on hand, resolving any problems with efficiency and a friendly smile. His dedication during the night shift truly makes guests feel secure and well-cared-for. If I had more space and time, I would gladly name every team member who contributes to the exceptional service at The Gibson Hotel because they all stand out for their incomparable hospitality. The dedicated staff creates an atmosphere where every guest is treated like family. This level of personalized attention is rare, and it's why I continue to choose The Gibson Hotel time and again.

Google
very noisy at night from the corridor. teen girls after concert argued until 3am with boomer parents. travelodge would he nicer inc an absolute max price tag. three course meal was to die for, steak was just astonishing. reception staff mediocre, none available for concerns. parking door not working on -1, all EVs are there. overall - I'd be very cautious to book it next time. you need more staff, address noisy guests at night - people come to sleep not to party. rooms are okay but spa is must.

Google
Clean hotel, rooms are fairly comfortable, nice bar and restaurant within. Great breakfast buffet. ||Reason for the 3-star rating: zero A/C in the room, happened to be there on 2 fairly warm days and we were very uncomfortable in our room. Complained to the front desk staff 2 days in a row, was promised service and nothing was ever done. Secondly, hotel is on the third floor, so not convenient to get in/out. Lastly, it’s pretty far out on the edge of town. Great if you’re going to the stadium or arena, but not convenient to walking in to Dublin.

Yelp
Man this place sucks! my eggs taste horrible, the orange juice is horrible, my shower doesn't work - it just gets really hot then really cold mid shower for no reason. There's stains on the carpet of our room and we couldn't check in at 2:15pm so instead we came back after 3 and it took 20 min to check in because the line was so long. The breakfast here overall is just really bad I had to spit half of it out and I'm not even a picky eater. Service was okay so that's why it gets 2 stars. And so far away from the city :(

Yelp
Superb, high-level funky hotel in the Dublin Docklands. They definitely do not do beige. A great location of business meetings, casual engagements, or just a coffee or a meal, the reception is on the third floor along with the bar, eating and drinking areas. Free fast wi-fi. Modern rock-n-roll decor à la U2, Gibson guitair, etc. The location is located very close to the Eastpoint Business Park, Luas stop, and the emergent tech and fintech areas of the Docklands of Dublin so popular with business visitors, but the leisure vacationer will find this an ideal and comfortable hub to stay in while sampling Dublin's fair city.

Yelp
This hotel was a 15 minute and 7€ bus ride from airport so please do not take a Taxi. You will be blown away. Big rooms, comfy bed, free gym, relaxation lounge with pedicure bowls and private jacuzzi tubs on balcony. The hotel is DIRECTLY on the tram line. This rocker hotel was AWESOME and I will stay again in a heart beat..big clean good bar good location good price

Yelp
Beautiful rooms! Very clean and coGreat water pressure in the shower. No balcony in our room but a sliding glass door which allowed for fresh air. Great breakfast. Just a wonderful experience. Was a little outside the city but the tram ran right out front or it was only about a 30 minute walk.

Yelp
My friend booked this hotel for us during our stay. It had some really nice amenities and was very modern. While this place was off the beaten path & away from the downtown area; the train was right outside. We had a complimentary breakfast with our stay. They had a decent sized gym. My favorite feature of this hotel was the bathtub! It was massive! The staff was friendly and the place was clean. I'd stay here again.

Yelp
My husband and I chose to take an express shuttle from the airport to the hotel, because we arrived at about 6 am. We found the express shuttle, paid for the tickets at a kiosk, stepped right onto the shuttle (amazing luck), stood for the 11 minute ride, and got off across the street from the hotel. The longest part was not wanting to jay walk as our first act in another country, so we walked up, across, and down to the hotel entrance. When we arrived, our rooms were ready (amazing luck). We showered and took a nap for an hour or two, then hit the town running. While we were there, we saw a historical recreation ship moored very close to the hotel and the river walk had a festival. The hotel had flowers in the lobby so you could take on and brighten your room and free wifi. They also had a (fake) sheep reading a newspaper full of his escapades. While one review said it's not in the city center, we had a great time and it's a few blocks from the green line step-on-step-off bus tour. We had dinner at a restaurant that we could see from our hotel room. I would stay there again.

Yelp
Stayed on a business trip for a week. First impression: On the surface, it's a beautiful hotel, with large, spacious rooms and a decent front desk staff. I needed a receipt after my stay and it was delivered promptly and efficiently. There were two substantial problem areas that I experienced, however: Cleanliness/Maintenance: The bathroom had what appeared to be mold underneath some of the surfaces and the room was fraying around the edges [burn? marks on a table, broken plastic pieces in the bathroom. Room Service: I ordered room service the first night I arrived. I was told it'd be there in about 20 minutes. I waited over an hour, then I called back to find out where my food was. I got someone brusquely told me that I did not have a room service order, and kept asking if I wanted to place a room service order. After going around in circles, I eventually just hung up. I've no idea where my order went, but I've never had a hotel 'lose' a room service order, and they clearly did not care - there wasn't so much as an apology. For the price of the hotel, I'd expect that neither of those things would occur. There's a certain standard I'd expect a 4-star hotel to live up to, and this definitely did not meet it.

Yelp
What a disappointment! Checked in to a wonderful welcome and splendid service my a nice young lady. We were transferred here due to a cancellation from The Hilton, and she was so kind. She put myself and my two daughters in two rooms, with lots of space and a beautiful patio. The espresso machine, robes, hair dryer, etc were a great touch. Unfortunately after a wonderful night out in Dublin, we return to the hotel and get bombarded by two male employees who kick us out of one room (their mistake, not ours) and rudely tell us we pay for the room or get out immediately. I was shocked! The treatment I received from these two gentleman was unacceptable behavior. I will NEVER return to this hotel and do NOT recommend it to anyone. It's a shame, because the rooms were so nice and atmosphere so great- amazing how to staff members can completely ruin a huge opportunity. Be careful with requests as well- since we lost a room; we asked for a cot ...after the second request we received a port-a-crib! Perfect for a 14 year old! see photo attached.

Yelp
Our first time in Dublin , and I have to say its was a pleasure stating at the Gibson Hotel. Very nice staff and easy access to city center.

Yelp
Lovely interior and prompt courteous service I give a four. I struggled to find something on the menu to eat and I thought a bit limited and overpriced. We met up with a friend staying there and was very positive about stay and I enjoyed being there. I would have given a five but we were there for the food and drink. friends had veg Singapore noodles which was average. New Year's Day there were no other options past 8pm close by otherwise I would have gone somewhere else.

Yelp
We stayed here with a tour group. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant was delicious. It was very easy to get around the city with the team service. There is a stop right outside the hotel.

Yelp
We just flew into Dublin and headed to the port to catch a ferry to Wales. Stopped in at The Gibson Hotel for a much needed bite to eat. Murtagh was there to greet us with the friendliest smile and warm welcome. He was exceptionally helpful with local knowledge, places to explore etc. Thank you, Murtagh, for making us feel so welcomed.

Yelp
Very clean and modern with exceptional customer service. Would def come back, the price was great and the location has easy access to a rail station with lots of places to eat along the railway. This def makes the stay more relaxing to come back to a quiet area

Yelp
In a lively city, the Gibson has managed to situate itself in a really dead neighborhood. It was very clean, and very modern. However, there was soul-less-ness that was unnerving. As I walked along the seemingly endless corridor to my room, it seemed like nothing so much as a scene out of some dystopian sci-fi movie. It was like a scene out of Brazil or 1984. In fact, if you're a sci-fi director or producer and you are looking for a particularly soul-less interior shot of human habitation, look no further. Also, garage was also difficult to find, and the GPS had trouble finding the hotel's odd address. If you are headed out to the airport directly from your hotel -- and particularly if you are driving -- this is a good place to stay: a left turn out of the garage and a left turn at the T intersection, and you are on your way. In fact, hard to imagine an easier route from city hotel to airport anywhere. But if you want to feel part of Dublin, look elsewhere.

Yelp
I traveled to Dublin from LA to see U2 in concert. I hadn't been to Dublin for 25 years and had no idea where to stay. A friend who went in 2015 recommended the Gibson since it's literally right next door to the 3Arena. I am so glad I took her advice! It was a breeze getting in and out of the concert each night. The room was comfy. They have a late night room service menu that's perfect for post-concert munchies. They also have a couple bars which is perfect for pre-show drinks. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
This review is for the restaurant inside the Gibson. We went there for a pre-concert meal last week, to get the sustenance in us before the madness. The first point to mark was the welcome, or lack thereof that we received when we arrived. We arrived to a burly bouncer standing outside the entrance who promptly told us to stand to one side while he interrogated some other people about what they were doing there. I had a flashback to trying to get into an Over 18s disco as a teenager. I felt as if I'd done something wrong by trying to eat there! After we had cleared up that we did in fact have a reservation, we went upstairs to find that the guys had booked us in for a 9pm slot instead of a 6.30 one, by which stage we would have been in the concert. To be really fair to them, they realised that they'd made an error and moved heaven and earth to get us a place. All with a smile - top marks! Could do with transferring some of that good humour and sense to the door staff. It's hard to recover a bad first impression like that. The food was good, though it was a pretty lean menu I guess to cope with the numbers that go through the doors on a concert night. I had fish on a bed of potatoes which was nice and the Caesar salad to start. My friends had the burger which was really dry and not great. It was expensive for what it was - small portions and average food. The saving grace were the staff inside who were absolute stars.

Yelp
Went there when Canon hosted a talk. Passed the empty and cold looking ground floor, the hotel is very stylish. The function room was quite big, very elegant. I d recommend it for hosting events because the space is well organised, as the close proximity of the luas helps people avoid leaving their cars in this not so safe and secure area of dublin. I d say there must be a great view from some of the room.
google avatar

Sean O.

Yelp
I like the Gibson and have been something of a supporter since it opened. Mostly I've been for events - conferences, meetings and the like. When there's something on, I find it buzzy, classy, airy and well-organised and would certainly recommend it. I've eaten there occasionally (either nibbles at the conferences or else full meal). I think the small bites and casual dining are the thing they do best. The bars are great - with some great views on Dublin, the river, the Aviva etc. is it a little out of the way? Yes. But is it worth the trip - definitely. Try it for bevies before or after a gig in the O2 some time and make up your own mind. I rate it.

Yelp
Bar food here is nice. Asian fusion. Bar service can be rather slow when there is a large event going on across at the 3 arena so give yourself plenty of time. On our last 2 visits we ordered Drinks and then food. On both occasions our drinks and water did not arrive for at least 5 minutes after the food.. I would still recommend for people attending gigs etc.

Yelp
I was at the Gibson twice this week for a job interview, which I got, thank you, with my out-of-town boss and I had almost forgotten about the place until I was requested to meet there. It's a nice hotel from what I can see, but ..... It's a bit out of the way There's a long way to go to get anywhere, in that you enter and then there's nothing until the 3rd floor. Other than that, the people are friendly, the staff were attentive at the Hemi Bar. Free wifi is also a good thing. Loved the popcorn that I had when we sealed the deal with my pint of Guinness (yummy btw). I had been there before for various events, including networking and also charity. It's a great space. I just think for some reason that it could be more.

Britt G.

Yelp
As a frequent traveler staying at this hotel has by far been one of my worst experiences. I am giving them two stars because the hotel is in a nice location, the hotel is actually neat and clean, and some of the staff was very friendly. The major issue I had is that I literally slept maybe three hours the whole night because the air did not work well in the room I was assigned. They acknowledged the issue and moved me rooms around 3 or 4 am. After having one of the worst night sleeps I felt like I should have received some sort of discount on the room for that night or something. I literally paid full price and got a basic sorry. Would not recommend!

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Gibson Hotel while staying in Dublin. The staff was awesome, here are a few examples: - My iPhone charger went on the fritz. They charged my phone at the desk. - I needed an A/C adapter - loaned me one - Front Desk Staff came out from behind the desk to show me my room number and direct me to my room. - Had breakfast two days (nice spread) - Dinner at the Bar (Burger was excellent) and the Argentinean Malbec was delicious? My only con . . . - Location, the area is on the up and up; but it's a little sleepy. if I'm in Dublin again, I would certainly stay here again. I'd recommend it! P.S. The rain shower head in the bathroom is amazing. Also, the internet speed is fantastic!

Yelp
Our group of friends just spent 4 nights at the Gibson Hotel in Dublin, and we absolutely loved it. The hotel is new, with a fun modern vibe and marvelously friendly and attentive staff. Although it's not in the heart of the tourist zone, it is in a safe neighborhood and it's a pleasant walk along the River Liffey to many popular sites. Alternatively, the easy-to-use Luas tram system can be accessed from a stop that is just steps outside the front door of the hotel. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, and is well worth including in your room when selecting your rate. Also, we were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful quality of food available at the bar (heavy Asian influence in the menu), and found the menu prices to be quite reasonable for the large portion sizes. Finally, a special shout-out to the fabulous bar staff in the Hemi Bar. They were friendly, attentive, and really knew their beers and mixed drinks! Many a pleasant hour was spent at that bar. Cheers to the Gibson Hotel and staff!!

Yelp
I was here for a meeting / presentation so that's the bit I review. I found the hotel a bit confusing. Reception on the 3rd floor and to get to the conference part you go through the restaurant - which on the other hand can't be nice for guests dining there when a conference is over and the masses go past them. But from the meeting rooms itself I was impressed.First a foyer where you can check in, have a coffee and if applicable sandwiches or what's on offer. And signs outside the rooms are clearly stating with red and green lights behind the signs whether they are availabe or not and if book for when, how long, how much time left before empty again. We were in a small room, the chairs comfortable (but not too comfortable) and the temperature was right. So apart from better / more inviting signage to find your way around I enjoyed my stay - in the meeting room.

E C.

Yelp
The staff were actually quite nice. The rooms themselves seemed a little dirty/beat up and it was a challenge getting the maid to respect the dnd but all in all a good stay. My heat/ac didn't work the whole time either but I guess I didn't need it.

Yelp
This review is really just for the bar Was here recently for a quick drink after a meal in a restaurant in the IFSC. I have an unbelievable (& possibly a little abnormal) love of the city of Dublin so the view in this place for me was unbelievable, but you do have to walk all the way to the end of the balcony to see past The Point Theatre (or the O2, or the 3 Arena or whatever it's flippin called by the time you're reading this), butt he view extends fully out over the bay & to the Dublin mountains. The drinks I found to be expensive considering it's just a hotel almost in the middle of nowhere, but I did enjoy the waiter service, which was a little slow, but just added to the chilled out vibe of the place.
google avatar

Mark D.

Yelp
As we only live around the corner, I thought to myself. Why haven't my partner and I been here before. As we comfortably sat outside looking down on Point village and 3 Arena. No answer came. "We have been missing out I said". A single nod from her confirmed that statement. When the suns out the balcony captures the heat and keeps you rooted to the stop. As it moves over Dublin. We move with it. It looks like the long balcony is specifically built for this sole purpose. But aside from that, We had a few drinks, Guinness and baileys coffee was our tipple of the day. We plan to go back and order chicken wings, and a few other sides to nipple on. Pop in when the suns out. Staff are excellent and friendly.
google avatar

Simon F.

Yelp
Just stopped in for a drink to meet some friends before heading to a gig in the 3 arena. The hotel itself is very nice, it has the usual hotel vibe, spacious with no real atmosphere, the staff were very friendly. I ordered a starter of duck spring rolls to accompany my drink, the spring rolls were nice, quite crisp and freshly made, however the sauce was a tad too sweet and side salad had seen better days.

Mania F.

Yelp
We stayed at the Gibson in our first trip to Dublin. Spacious and clean room, loveliest staff, and right by the tram station (we usually just walked along the river to go sightseeing rather than using public transport, takes a bit longer but a nice stroll). Breakfast was excellent and the whole staff including the cleaning crew would always greet you and jump at any opportunity to help. This will definitely be our place if we come back to beautiful Dublin.

Yelp
This chic hotel is located just 10 minutes outside from city centre of Dublin called the "Point". You can take the tram (trolly/streetcar) (Luas) located just outside the hotel and it runs from 05:30 till 00:30 Monday till Friday, 06:30 till 00:30 Saturday and 07:00 till 11:30 Sunday and holidays. . SERVICES The hotel does have a Gym and "Relaxation Room" but you do need a sign a waver the facility's are not staff. They also have two bars and a restaurant located in the reception area with a 24hrs room service with a "tray fee" of 5€ per order. . HOTEL ROOM My hotel room has a king size bed and was made from two double bed and put together (no issue till you sleep I the middle of the bed). The bed is very comfortable for a perfect night sleep. The bathroom is bright and space on counter for your toiletries, but the cleanliness was shattered from a grime just outside the shower that stained the floor towel when it gets wet. The fit and finish of the room is sloppy, the window curtains are not hooked properly on the rails the closet finish was peeling away from the corner (top left). . CONCLUSION The Gibson is rated as a 4 start hotel, and I did received a 4 start service with my stay despite the room issues. Would I stay here again, that's a YES!

Yelp
This was a pleasant place to stay. The service was very nice and it was all very clean. It is located at the end of the light rail line, which is convenient if you want to be away from the noise of the city. It is the first stop from the airport and last stop on the way back to the airport on the shuttle bus, which was also very convenient. We had a room with two twin beds. The beds and sheets were very small and were placed very close together. The bathroom shower had a piece of glass which faced into the sleeping area, so if the light was on in the bathroom, it lit up the room where someone is sleeping. This was not a good design in my opinion.

Yelp
Stayed in executive suite twice and the superior room once. Will find it very hard to enjoy staying in any other hotel anywhere else. Friendly staff amazing food and there was more than I could bargain for at the breakfast buffet. rooms are clean and shower is amazing. Gym is good. Can't wait to go back ;)

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here last week while I was traveling for business (and hubby was tagging along). We really liked this hotel and would recommend it to anyone headed to Dublin. Yes, the hotel is a hike from downtown (although if you like walking, we walked downtown in about 20 minutes). The less than ideal location is made up for though by the fact that the LUAS street car line is literally at the front door of the hotel, so if you hop on the train, you can easily get downtown. The O2 arena across the street seemed like a popular venue for shows and when Strictly Come Dancing (the Irish version of Dancing with the Stars) had a couple of shows there, the hotel filled up with people and really came alive. I'll try to summarize my comments, since there is so much to say about this great hotel. -The front desk staff are very friendly and seem genuinely interested in helping you. Po was particularly knowledgeable about Dublin and gave us mounds of great advice. -The Irish breakfast (included in the room cost) was so yummy. We briefly considered moving to this hotel, just so we could have this breakfast every morning. -The hotel is new and the modern design is really nice. The hotel and rooms have lots of nice touches. For example, a window between the bathroom and bedroom so that natural light fills the bathroom (but the glass is in a particular position so that someone else in the bedroom can't see you in the bathroom). -I found the internet speed to be far superior to any US hotel in which I have stayed. I was able to work and download large files without getting kicked off the network or having to wait long periods of time--and it's free! -We ate at the bar in the evening (the restaurant doesn't seem to open for dinner) and the food was very good. We had a potato and leek soup that made me actually like potato and leek soup! I agree that the staff at the bar are not very attentive and you may feel like you need to tackle someone to get service. However, I found that this was a theme all over Dublin (maybe they see attentive as pushy?). Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. I only took off one star due to location not being downtown. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this hotel though if I went back to Dublin.

Yelp
I've been a few times to eat in the bar / lounge area here. (Never to the restaurant part so don't know what that's like). I have never experienced such consistent poor service. (It's close to where I live so I decided to give it a few tries). Getting the attention of the waiting staff is next to impossible. The wait time for the food was always horrendous. And when the food finally arrived they got my order wrong on two occasions. I was there on very quiet occasions on all my visits and cannot understand the reasons for this unusually poor service. Pity because it's such a beautiful bar/lounge/restaurant area. Food was fine but nothing special - when it eventually arrived / when they got my order right!

Cindy C.

Yelp
This is a fabulous hotel. Stayed here two night while on a tour of Europe. The rooms were clean, bright and was great for the two nights we stayed. Breakfast was in their restaurant area, which was a buffet of English breakfast items. The hotel is literally right across the street from the Arena 3 stadium. The reason why it's not a 5 star is that it is away from the city center and where all of the downtown area is. But there is the Luas (tram) across from the hotel that would take you near downtown Dublin. It's about another mile or so walk into the downtown area from Abbey street. The Luas is easy to navigate and the hotel is at the end of the line. It was 2.40 pound to take the Luas. There are a few restaurants about 15 minutes walk from the hotel, if you decide not to go into the downtown area.

Yelp
I don't know where to begin with explaining the experience from our night eating in the Bar at the Gibson. Rude welcoming - questioned and almost refused entering the bar when we had guests of our party already in the bar. Returning from the bathroom and being questioned if 'there was something I can help you with ' 'no - I just want to go back to my table thank you' - very cold and no smiles from front of house. They talked to us like second class citizens. Confusion over the food - one started never arrived. So They then brought the starter and main at the same time - Sent the main back. Desserts ordered but never came. Mains arriving with no cutlery being put on the table after starters. Pot of tea ordered - arrived with no tea bag. Extra drink that we did not order on the bill. Had to go up and ask for drink orders to be put in. Our waitress was so nice and attentive and from observing her I could see her panicking and trying to resolve the issues we had. I chatted with her after to thank her for being so great but that the place is so unorganised. As we were sitting my the kitchen I observed that At Least 4 times plates of food were being brought back as they were told the wrong table or people weren't ready. Bad communication between staff. Stressed staff running around like headless chickens. No floor management Lack of training We were there on a busy evening as there was a concert on in 3Arena but I definitely feel they should have been able to manage the evening better. I highly doubt I'll go back.

Yelp
I like how this is the first stop off the hop along bus from the airport, and then it's the last stop on the tram. It was convenient for us to get around with out having to take a cab at all around Dublin. It is also located right across the O2 and the movie theater. The reception is located on the 3rd floor along with the bar and restaurant. I really like how the Relaxation Room/spa is set up where is self service and you can basically do your own foot scrub, utilize the steam bath, sauna, and hot tub. The fitness center was decent as there was a rowing machine that I utilized in incorporating my own workout. The room is pretty spacious and modern. The bathroom has speakers so you can still hear what is on the tv even though you can't watch it. The staff is extremely nice and helpful showing me to where the bar and restaurant was located, and giving directions and suggestions on transportation. There was a good deal on the rooms through a third party, but totally a quality hotel.

Yelp
So while visiting Dublin, Ireland for a nursing research conference I was made a wonderful drink called "A Pair of Roses" at the Gibson Hotel restaurant. I posted a picture of this pretty pink drink on Facebook and it got so many likes that I asked the bar manager Garnett McDonagh for the recipe. He happily gave it to me and although camera shy was one of the most considerate men I met on the trip!

Yelp
Although I was only at The Gibson for one night, it was a wonderful hotel close to the heart of city center in Dublin. Rooms, amenities, staff were all great!

Yelp
This was a nice new hotel that fortunately had a room for a couple of weary delayed travelers. The interior is interesting, with lots of metal and stone accents.

Yelp
Super swanky and cool. Went for an event in the bar area, and was very impressed by the staff and the view. Great place for peripheral conference events if you're at the DCC. Wish I had stayed here instead of the Hilton, given its proximity to the DCC, but i cannot comment on the rooms or the hotel-related service.

Yelp
This hotel was lovely but a bit on the fringes in terms of location-- however the train stop is right outside the hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff were excellent in terms of wanting to make you comfortable. I do highly recommend the spa on the sixth floor which is equipped with steam, sauna, pedicure stations and outside baths on the terrace. The shower in the room had two shower heads and a nice shelf to sit down. The internet was fast and there were so many little details about this hotel that made it extra nice from the blooms you could take to your room to the apples in the barrels on each floor-- the attention to detail was something. Also, I do not recommend the pan Asian fare in the Hemi bar but the breakfast in the Coda is wonderful.

Yelp
This is a great hotel. The location is directly across from the O2 so it's perfect for staying at when a good gig is on and easily accessible from the LUAS. It has modern, spacious rooms, a nice restaurant, and a great bar area. The staff are lovely and very attentive.

Yelp
Nice rooms, close to the train, couple restaurants inside. Pricey and right across the street from The O2.

Yelp
Nice looking hotel with modern design, feels new, located in questionable, developing edge of town. Tram right in front but nothing else in area other than 3 ARENA which must be dreadful when a concert is there. Room was clean, view not so great (from upper floor). Reception staff very, very helpful with area info and taxi booking (Thanks, Emelyn!). I would say it depends on price.

Yelp
The hotel is decent- Nothing to write home about. It doesn't mention on their website that parking is NOT free. We were pretty upset that after paying the price we did for the room, we had to pay an additional €12 on top of that. We had drinks and a cheesecake in the bar- the drinks were good (it's beer so you can't go wrong) and the cheesecake was sub par in my opinion. For the price we paid for this hotel, I would expect the rooms to be a lot nicer and the parking to be included.

Yelp
The Gibson Hotel is a wonderful choice for the weary traveller. Comfortable beds, decently sized and very clean rooms, great showerheads, and easy access to the tram are all great reasons to stay at this modern and customer oriented respite. Their room service was prompt, substantial, and delicious. We stayed there for our anniversary and they left a personalized note as well as a rich, tasty brownie in our room. They offer an expansive all you can eat buffet for breakfast and the coffee will wake you up after any late night. They even got our room ready for an early check in and allow you to bring fresh flowers up to your room gratis. Loved it here and would stay again if I ever return to Dublin.

Yelp
Modern, clean, reasonably priced. Right next to the metro and all ubers know where it is. They have an all you can eat breakfast but their dinner or bar menu is Asian fusion and is pretty bad. Room service has a poor selection so don't get caught hungry late night. Another small downside is that you're far from city center but the uber home is cheaper than paying 50-100 euros more per night. Over all good value at a nice place.
