The Gift Shop by Brightside

I was shopping there this afternoon. I saw a dress I liked and saw a girl go into the fitting room before me with no issue. I waited for her to finish and went in there after. There was no sign or anything. As soon as I take off my top off, the sale associate said she has to check if anything was left, I told her I was in my bra and she said she still had to come in. I put on the dress all sideways so I’m not standing in my bra as people walk by. She looks under the shirt I had put on their chair and under the chair saying she had to check under there, as if there was literally anything I was hiding under the chair to steal. It was the most rude experience I ever had and saw that the women before and after me did not get hassled. Maybe it’s because I’m a woman of color. Awful experience. If you want someone to wait for an associate before stepping in the dressing room, put a sign up. Or treat all the customers consistently. Or don’t come in when I say I’m in my bra. Awful service.

I came here on a day out with friends. The people working there were friendly, but I ended up waiting outside while my friends shopped because the shop didn’t carry anything in my size (which is usually a US 16 or XL/XXL). Definitely not an inclusive store sizing-wise, so it was very uncomfortable place to be in since my friends could find clothes in their size but I couldn’t. So disappointed because there were a lot of clothes that I did like but did not accommodate my size. If you’re plus-size, you’ll probably only be able to buy accessories/jewelry here. The only sizes I saw were XS-L :(

I love this store! All of their clothes are super cute and on trend, while also staying unique. I have multiple pieces from them and love them all. On top of their awesome style, their employees are all so kind and helpful any time I go in. A well-earned 5 stars!

This is my favorite store in Baltimore....by far. Not only is their style unlike any other boutique in the city, they have the staff to match their awesomeness. I think I speak for almost every babe in town, this is the place to be to get the hottest looks, cutest trinkets/accessories/etc. They also host amazing and fun events in the community throughout the year! If you havent been to Brightside yet, do yourself a favor, drop what you are doing and get there now.

I’ve been shopping at Brightside since it’s first store opened in a federal hill. Each location is amazing. They have the best selections of clothes, jewelry, and many other fun things! I wish I could buy everything in this store!! Love all the sales reps. They’ve helped me prepare many outfits for many occasions! Keep killin it!!

I shop here for my wife all the time. They curate amazing stuff that I would never think of on my own but totally make me look good! Staff is always friendly and helpful. Cool vibe. Cool shop. Would definitely recommend going here if you’re nearby or need a gift for someone or just something new for yourself.

Great place with good clothes and pretty decent prices. Lily was awesome! In addition to helping us around the store, she also suggested some good spots around the area for us to see. Would definitely recommend stopping by!

Brightside Boutique has been a wonderful part of the Fell’s Point family for years. This tiny shop packs a powerful punch and all the good vibes :). The brand is led by strong women with style and flair. I can’t say enough of the staff at Brightside. Christie (owner) and her team create a connection the moment you walk in the door and really make it a wonderful experience to shop. Not that any of us need another reason ;) #shoplocal

I wandered into this little shop one day while I was meandering around Fells. I was drawn in by some truly stunning clothes on mannequins in the window. Everything about the boutique was charming, displays, accessories, even the salesperson was adorable. Only drawback was boutique pricing. The cheapskate in me wasn't able to do it. I'll definitely be back to peruse the sales rack though!
