Delighted we went here. The staff are super friendly, it has a propped lively bistro feel about it and the food and drinks are great! Highly recommend the shrimp and the squid, and the tart to start. The bream, hake and beef were also delicious. If you like a spicy Margarita this is the place. It packs a punch. Yum. Great night. Great recommendation.

Love this restaurant. Eat here every year on our overnight stay before catching the ferry to Scotland the next morning . It's not often you peruse a menu and literally love everything on it but that's what you feel at Ginger Bistro. Service is just great, cocktails, food, obviously, and wines plus great ambience. One of our favourite places anywhere!

An absolute must if you're in Belfast! We were a group of ten and had the lamb, seabass and beef, with creme brulee and sticky toffee pudding. Everything was cooked to perfection and the staff were incredible. Would definitely come back next time I'm in town. Thanks to the team for being so accommodating with our large group.

We had a very nice meal at Ginger bistro. We were greeted by very friendly people who led us to our table. We ordered some wine and the raw beef and mango salad which was exceptional. The ginger dressing was yummy. I then ordered the whole seabreem which was delicately cooked in a lemon sauce. It came with warmed up lettuce and roasted potatoes. I would highly recommend this dish. My husband got the halibut which was good. We also ordered the cauliflower fritters which were okay and lacking in flavor. We ended with the delicious sticky toffee pudding! That was a great way to end the best!

Found this lovely restaurant on Trip Advisor. Absolutely lives up to other reviews. Attentive service, superb food. Our waitress Lucy, made it even better with her quick wit

Excellent restaurant in BELFAST. The place is nicely decorated and the staff is very welcoming. Food is really good and our dishes were very well prepared. We were very happy with our dinner there. Reservation recommended, as the place is quite big, but it was full when we arrived.

Great restaurant. Buzzy atmosphere but not overly loud. Food was amazing. Lots of Gluten Free options. Beef bourguignon was one of the best meals Ive had. Lovely to have a choice of GF deserts too. £100 for 2 mains, a side, two deserts, a cocktail and a glass of wine and a tip seemed a fair price.

I tried pork belly bites with Korean dressing and sesame seeds as a starter — they were crispy and full of flavor, exactly how I like pork. The main course was whole roast seabream with mixed leaves and lemon dressing. The fish itself was fresh and tasty, though I couldn’t really feel the chef’s unique touch like I did in the starter. It reminded me of Mediterranean-style fish plates. For dessert, I had sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and toffee sauce — absolutely amazing! The sauce had this rich, almost vapor-boiled flavor. The combination of hot sauce and cold ice cream was perfect, though a bit too sweet to finish after the meal and some drinks. Definitely something to share! The ambiance felt like a “third-class theatre’s backyard” — a quirky and interesting concept that I actually liked. Unfortunately, there was a very loud, laughing group nearby, which made the experience slightly uncomfortable. Overall, I’d recommend visiting for the taste — especially for the starters and dessert!
