We stayed for four nights over a weekend. The pub downstairs is lovely and cosy, the staff are friendly and relaxed and the rooms were very comfortable. We opted for breakfast included each day and we were glad we did!! Lovely generous breakfast and again great service. We walked from the station in around ten minutes, and lots of restaurants and central Aberdeen are also within comfortable walking distance by distance. We hired a car from Enterprise and that was also easy walking distance, there was always parking on the street outside whilst we were there (chargeable in day time hours). Only thing to point out was Saturday evening there was a little noise from a nearby pub, it didn’t disturb us much though! I would recommend and I would definitely stay again!

Great location, friendly service, beautifully laid out room interiors, cosy romantic and warm. Quirky names given to the rooms, such as Stewart and Wallace. Breakfast was amazing for the price and probably the best we’ve had yet. Parking can be challenging as it’s in street only, and only allows 2 hours max between 8am and 8pm.

Great location and Inn for our visit to Aberdeen. The rooms are above the Pub. Everything is very nice and the Pub noise is not an issue in the room. The Pub staff are very friendly and nice. Food is great too!

My greyhound and I were made very welcome when we called at this great pub for a drink on quiz night, after eating elsewhere. Three cask ales, all new to me, were available. Encouraged, we returned for food on another night. I had the haggis bonbons followed by standard size battered haddock - having first checked that this would not be more than I could eat - and a couple of ales. The food in particular was excellent. Disappointed by other dog-friendly and cask ale options in the city, we returned to The Globe for our final night. Once again, the welcome and choice of ales were great. But it was the food that made for a truly memorable evening. The Cullen Skink was very good and my main course of Cajun King Prawns with Penne Pasta was wonderfully spicy. No photos unfortunately. Why go elsewhere when things are this good?

Spent 4 nights in this quaint inn. Room was comfortable with comfy bed. Pub on ground floor was a great place to end my day. Food was fantastic and the staff and beverage selection was ideal. No elevators. Rooms are 1 to 2 flights up. Staff was nice and helped carry one piece for me. Location was a good for what I wanted, but a bit of a hill to get to/from the train station. Suggest taking a taxi to the hotel to save the uphill trek. Not a very touristy town but has plenty to see (museums). Great restaurants and pubs in the area.

Our Walking Group had our Summer Lunch at The Globe Inn, excellent choices for everyone, great food, service was superb and we were well looked after by Caitlan and her colleagues. Nice place for a meal and we all enjoyed ourselves. Thanks

Yelp
Had a great meal here! Wife had a great stir fry and I had Scampi and chips - but the best was the Sticky Toffee Pudding! We were glad we didn't share it!!
