To start with, the building itself is stunning! Beautiful museum with very out of the ordinary and original international art. Great restaurant on the ground floor. Offer various courses and events. Cute museum shop.

Feee art gallery, not huge or with lots to see, but what they do have is thoughtfully crafted & interesting. Also a nice little shop with a wide array of things to purchase. Cafe & toilets dow stairs and with free entry

A perfect place to observe art in action. The actual exhibition is about Labour of Love, and it's very interesting. Lovely paintings, moving videos, emotional sculptures. Definitely the place to go !

free! Nice architecture. Worth a quick visit. I did not really like the museumshop though.

The Glucksman is a prominent museum known for creative learning and visual arts. It's a part of UCC. Situated at the main entrance to UCC on Western Road, this place is an award-winning building that has display spaces, lecture facilities, a riverside restaurant and gallery shop. The outside architecture of this museum along with the trees surrounding it makes this place look exceptionally extravagant. I enjoyed my time there!

Great little museum. Plenty of folk art. Beautiful walk to and from. Very quiet, peaceful, and respectful vibes.

An impressive building and interesting art exhibition, but did not seem to make the best use of space. Was free and quite interactive for kids. The staff we spoke to were very helpful. Not that easy to find though. Once there, was not sure if it was open and if exhibition was there as it was upstairs and felt like you were walking into an empty building.

Yelp
THE GLUCKSMAN Made a cross-town trip this morning to see the Lewis Glucksman Gallery in the grounds of UCC. Impressive building and a very impressive viewing space. Admission is free but a five euro donation is suggested. Anyone interested in pop music will find it a worthwhile to take in one of the two current exhibitions. It is called Mixtapes, a mixed media show, and runs until 24 October 2010. The Glucksman also has quite an extensive shop with books on art in general plus a huge range of specialist publications on individual subjects.

Yelp
A welcome addition to both the UCC campus and the city in general, the Glucksman is a relatively new gallery (it opened in 2004). It shows on the outside as well as in, with lots of space throughout the building, so the exhibits aren't piled on top of one another. There's a pleasant cafe downstairs too, so it's good for a lazy lunchtime.

Yelp
Very impressive 'new' gallery in the grounds of UCC. It's one of Cork's newest, but it's been open a few years and getting into its stride with confident exhibitions and very interesting displays.
