Drinks and bartenders are awesome. The atmosphere is very laid back and relaxing. I’m in town for 8 months it’s very close to my hotel and my second time being here. the food is always over cooked and dry. I’ve had 4 different things on the menu and the best thing I have had is the French fry’s. I’ll definitely stop by for drinks food is definitely not worth it. So yeah I figured give it one more try here’s the tater tots with pork belly on it. As you can see not really pork belly anywhere. Sad. Bartender Emily is awesome and makes great drinks.

The atmosphere is trendy and clean. I give the food 4 stars instead of 5 because I ordered something basic, next time I would like to try more menu items. I got the chicken tenders and fries. The tenders were homemade tasting and delicious. And the buffalo sauce was really good. All around good food. Next time ill try more menu items.

Absolutely awful customer service. I called and ordered a wrap, I do not eat pork and emphasized several times no bacon. The host even read it back to me several times and it was labeled on the ticket. I got home and bacon was all over the wrap. When I called to have my order refunded, the manager was rude, acted like he could not care less, did not even apologize nor tell me when I could expect my refund. 0/10 customer service & I’ve been in the service industry for years. Ridiculous.

Delicious! We tried the chicken dip, southerner pizza and farmhouse tots. The sauces drizzled on each dish were delicious. Tots were perfect size and soft. The chicken dip had delicious lighting seasoned chips. Pizza was sweet with a nice jammy flavor. Waitress was friendly and quick.

I came in for this first time on a Saturday for their Brunch menu and ordered the The Goat Burrito and it was incredible. Haley was our server and was extremely helpful and attentive the entire time. The atmosphere was very relaxing and clean with lots of different things to watch on their TVs. Definitely recommend if you're in the area or haven't tried this place before.

I stopped in hoping to get a good pizza or a burger with goat cheese. They don’t offer goat cheese…. I decided to try the wings. Bone in, ordered well done. They came out barely crispy but I was hungry so I ate them. The dry rub was not very flavorful, the blue cheese was chunkless and the celery was was rubbery. I definitely do not recommend and will not be back. The service is slow and the place was no where near busy.

We recently hosted a paint and sip event here, and it was absolutely perfect! The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, from setup to cleanup. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right vibe for a creative, fun evening. Huge thanks to the team for being so accommodating and making our event so special. Can’t wait to come back for another one!

My daughter had her bridal shower at the Goat. Everything was very nice and the manager was great and so helpful. The space is perfect for a shower and they did a great job

My husband and I met my best friend and her kids here for dinner before heading over to the zoo for the lantern festival. We were not on a time crunch, but couldn't afford to be there for hours and hours. We ordered a burger, the kids, chicken tenders, the hot chicken dip, and the kids mac & cheese. Our server was extremely nice and attentive. The patio is nice and the restaurant itself is spacious with high ceilings. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his burger. My best friend and I thought the flatbread was pretty good. The kids enjoyed the chicken tenders. The kids mac & cheese was made with pepper jack cheese... while it probably tasted great, considering mac & cheese is often on kids menus so parents have a safe and reliable option, my best friend was disappointed when the mac & cheese arrived and her son took one look at it and wouldn't eat it. A lot of kids also don't enjoy spicy things. Would be good if this was at least written on the menu in the description. Our hot chicken dip was OK, but I would never order it again. It was mostly just cream cheese with some hot chicken seasoning on top. They forgot the chicken in ours.... The final disappointment was that the server came back after we ordered and he let us know that our food was going to take close to an hour because the kitchen was behind. While I know this is no one's fault, it caused us to get to the zoo rather late and we had three kids to entertain for an hour with no food. The food ended up coming around 50 minutes.

This place does not open until 11:30am. FYI!! If you're looking for a nearby lunch spot.

I was in Columbus for a couple of days and met my niece here for dinner. I had never heard of The Goat. It's a very casual and relaxed atmosphere when you walk in. We were meeting earlier in the evening for dinner. Their Happy Hour runs from 3-7 during the week. Each day has its own special. We were there on a Monday so I got their boneless wings and fries happy hour special for $10. It comes with 10 boneless wings. I was curious about their MoonShine wing sauce and was told it's similar to Chick-Fil-A sauce. I did 5 wings in BBQ and 5 wings in the MoonShine sauce. Honestly, I wish I had done all MoonShine sauce! It was SOOOOO good! It is similar to CFA sauce, but still very different. The MoonShine sauce seemed to have a more honey mustard base - at least that's what I tasted more of. The fries were also really good! Our server was excellent and helpful. He (and the other staff) made sure to keep our drinks filled and ask if we needed anything (but not annoyingly often - it was just right). I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Columbus!

The Goat used to be our go to place... but not anymore. The food used to be great, but the last year it has gone downhill. They have cheapened ingredients and cut back on quantity. The chicken wraps have barely any chicken in them. And their hamburgers used to be crave-able. Now they are from frozen, tasteless and dry. Buns were stale as well. Sorry to be losing what was once our neighborhood gem.

My partner and I decided to check this place out for restaurant week and found a few aspects underwhelming. Our server seemed new so we tried giving him grace but he very rarely came over to our table, but seemed attentive to tables nearby. We decided to put in our apps, entrees, and dessert all at once because our server said it was easiest for him to do it that way, no problem there! Our apps arrived quickly-- the drunken shrimp was the best thing we ate while there. Our entrees arrived shortly after our apps. 5 minutes in our entrees our "molten" lava cake arrived. Our server dropped it off and left the table before we could say anything about the very early arrival of dessert. We had zero refills while there. Our lava cake was still cold in the middle. Poor timing and service on our server's end otherwise it would had been just a little bit better!

Our bartender, Unique, was amazing! She was juggling about 20 things at once and managed to get it all done while being pleasant and kind. She's where the positive stops though. A male manager was sitting at the bar talking loudly and angrily on the phone and then slammed it down on the counter. We were just trying to have a nice Sunday morning brunch. If a manager is going to have a tantrum, please build him an office in which to do it instead of bothering the customers. Lots of other employees just standing around and our food came out cold and not together. We rarely come here and this experience reaffirmed why.

It's was a busy Saturday night and they still got our party if 5 a great table pretty quick. Service was quick, food was awesome, no complaints here. Would go back again!

I met a few friends here for lunch and it was delightful. Quiet enough for conversation and the food was really good. We started with the homemade tater tots and they were crunchy and good. I ordered the spinach salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was very moist and flavorful. Our server was attentive to our needs and kept our drinks topped off. I will definitely return as my meal was very good.

So sad to be writing this because my boyfriend and I were so excited to try this place and really wanted to like it but oh yikes. Let me start by saying the hostesses and server were great! No issues there at all! But wow everything else was so disappointing. This dish is supposed to be a roasted curry cauliflower and it was almost inedible. No flavor or seasoning, not roasted (soggy and mushy with water sitting in the bottom of the plate), the "candied jalapeños" were just plain jalapeños, and the "hot honey" was almost certainly just simple syrup with some hot sauce in it. I also got a "Greek Bowl" which was supposed to come with Naan and quinoa and it had maybe a ~sprinkle~ of quinoa and the Naan never came even though I reminded the food runner I was supposed to get some. Boyfriend's "Nashvegas" was supposed to have pimento cheese and it looked more like veggie cream cheese. Look I am not a person who is ever harsh to customer service workers or restaurants in general, but guys please fix this. Like people in here are so cool and nice and they're serving dishes for $15 that should've cost $2 from a frozen bag. I say this with peace and love, I'm just so disappointed and hoping this changes something!

Very nice place, great service and the food was super fresh. Tots are homemade has brown balls with a delicious egg. Buffalo chicken wrap was AMAZING. Neat drinks and plenty of room. Excellent choice for brunch!

Came in early after--maybe 2:00, it was not busy at all. Waited almost 25 minutes for someone to take my order. It was disappointing. Ordered chicken gyro--flavorless. The sweet potato fries were extremely salty, so I asked for another condiment to try to balance it out. Never got it. Had to stop the waiter and ask for a drink refill and my check. Almost an hour for mediocre food, when the place was mostly empty? Nope, won't be back. Too bad, I was excited to try it out.

This spot looks for trendy and cool inside. It was empty when I was picking up lunch for an office, but I could imagine it being a fun spot for drinks and a bite to eat. I was picking up lunch for an office, so I can't speak to how their food was, but for me, the Bacon Blue Cheese Burger I had was ok. Nothing exceptional about it. My overall impression is this spot would be a better experience for dining in rather than takeout.

Went for dinner during happy hour on a Friday night. We were able to be seated quickly and got a table outside. There is a pool and sand volleyball courts in the area. Music was great and we enjoyed the ambiance! We ordered a couple of cocktails on happy hour which were decent. We ordered the nachos for an appetizer on happy hour which were fine at best. They came out fairly cold and the flavors seemed to clash for my taste. My husband and I both ordered burgers and fries which were pretty decent however once again seemed a little cold by the time we got them. Would consider going back mostly for the outside seating area and vibe.

They have daily specials throughout the weekdays and happy hour specials. I would highly recommend. The spicy garlic sauce for the chicken was great. The BBQ sauce was good but the spicy garlic was more flavorful. I would definitely come back and try the wings again but getting a lot more. The Buffalo chicken flatbread was great. The Buffalo sauce paired with ranch and the blue cheese, and the chicken created something that came together nicely. It was also only $5 and filled me up. The pepperoni pizza was also good. It was loaded with pepperonis, which is my personal preference. Last but not least are the Italian rolls. The bread was great. It was easy to bite into but maintained it's crispiness. It was like honey baked. The marinara sauce was a great compliment. The pepperoni to cheese ratio inside was perfect and I will be back to try the Italian rolls again. I took some to go and they were the highlight of everything I tried.

We hosted a 40th Birthday Celebration at The Goat, 11.9.2024. The food was great, our server Tina was amazing, and the service she gave was phenomenal! If you're looking for a place to host a gathering, I highly recommend The Goat.

We had reservations for 4 which grew to 12 in a short time and we were seated at a very tall long table as everyone arrived. They had no issue with the change of reservation numbers. We had the perfect server, Blade, as he was extremely pleasant and accommodating throughout the evening. The orders came out perfectly to each seated customer and many raved about the food and of course the drinks! Of course the Black Walnut Old Fashioned is always a hit! With the table coming from the state of Washington, California, and Nebraska, the conversation was light and lively, the Queens Table was the perfect location for us to converse with each other and have an outstanding evening with the perfect server, Blade and the outstanding food!

I'd like to add to my previous review because I feel some recent changes they have made are not for the betterment. Apparently since my last review, some significant changes have been made to the previous menu selections. It seems they have slimmed down their overall offerings for whatever reason. Sad. On our last visit just this evening, I was a bit disappointed with the selection. We arrived around 4:30 pm for an early dinner and we're the only ones in the entire place for a while. We ordered the hot chicken dip appetizer. Turns out it was the highlight of the evening as things went South from there. This is the second time I've tried to order a draft beer from the menu only to be told they don't have it after checking. We all ordered the Garden Smash Burgers and fries. They arrived about 20 minutes later (only 2 other occupied tables at the time). The food was tepid, at best, and all our fries were borderline mushy and just slightly warm. We were starving so we just made due with the situation. Only 1 server was on duty and only checked in with us once from the time we got our food to the time we asked for the check. I say this to management, improvement isn't necessarily an improvement and you're going to have to figure some things out before I will be back. You need to expand your offerings and improve your kitchen efficiency to get back where things once we're. Your decisions have not had the intended impact. Don't fix what isn't broken. We'll give it one more try in a while to see if you have really listened to the honest evaluation from a once impressed patron?

I've been to the goat many of times and food is always good here. It's was very empty on a Monday night but we were able to seat ourselves. Service was good and quick, we got our food in like 10-15 minutes. Many TVs were on so we were able to watch some basketball games. Our serve was very nice and checkin in ok us multiple times.

Wonderful waiters, tasty small plates, pleasant outdoor atmosphere. Drinks were amazing too.

Got loaded tots, had to send them back twice, first time they were still frozen, second time they were cold and mush.. I get it's a bar, but the one in dublin is close enough and better. Staff however were very nice in Hilliard, it's bigger, and has way more parking. So, if you just want a beer, Hilliard might be a better spot.

the food is amazing i got the jerk chicken tacos and the birra tacoa they are some of the best tacos I've had

Came here for happy hour on a Friday - it goes until 7pm which is great! We sat outside near the pool which was lovely for a summer day. The drinks and food were all really good. The hot chicken dip for an app was dealt flavorful and not too spicy at all. I got the so cal chicken sandwich and it came with lots of bacon and avocado. It was yummy the fries were seasoned so good too! Definitely coming back for more good eats & good vibes

Love this place! We've been for lunch and happy hour but never brunch. Fixed that today. I had the huevos rancheros and they were very good. Husband had a buffalo chicken wrap, came with fries, all good. He loved his Bloody Mary, they do a Nashville hot chicken one that comes with a chicken wing, biscuit and big dill pickle. He ordered two they were so good! And I do recommend their happy hour, every day is a different special. Wednesday's are flatbread pizzas, and they have $4 house wines.

My husband & I absolutely love The Goat - it has become one of our go-to spots. The atmosphere, the service, the food - all great and all make for a amazing overall dining experience! When you do visit, the farmhouse tots are a MUST!

Attempted to eat at The Goat for lunch. Took longer than expected to get a server so we ordered right away and 45 minutes later we ended up leaving without food. The server never came back to refill drinks or check on us. We had to go to the bar to make get drinks and check on the food status. I keep trying to give them another chance and it always bites me. I will not be giving them more chances. So many better options in Hilliard.

I absolutely loved everything about this place!! Food, service, atmosphere...just great energy all around! They we great with my service dog! The tots were delicious!!! I'm definitely going back before I leave Columbus!

Very fun environment inside and has a volleyball court outside, perfect location for summer! Service was speedy and friendly. Prices were reasonably and portions were perfect. Enjoyed the farmhouse tots which were amazing, the spicy chicken dip which I will definitely be returning to try again, the boneless Cajun wings that were a bit dry and could have used more seasoning, and the devil on goatback pizza which was a super fun combination of ingredients but also a little dry. Everything on the menu looked delicious and I can't wait to try more! A small complaint is that the bathroom was out of soap which was a bit inconvenient especially during a pandemic.

We hosted a 'bridal brunch' is the reservable space at this location and it was perfect!! I worked with 2 managers, Derek and Kendra and they were both amazing. I believe they said Derek was phasing out as manager and Kendra was phasing in.. They were quick responders and had good ideas when i had questions. The brunch food we requested was reasonable price and very good! They didn't skimp on anything. There were syrups, jams & icing that I didn't even realize came with the food. We had a mimosa bar and it came with 3 different delicious types of juice! On the day of our party, Unique was our server and she was absolutely amazing. Checking in frequently, was super prompt with everything, helped with everything, and she gave us several containers & bags to box up the left over food. We were able to arrange the tables how we wanted, decorate how we wanted (although we really didn't have to do much because the space is already so cute), and we even had a candle making activity (which was SUCH a hit) and they did everything they could to help us. We are definitely coming back here whenever we have a party! Thank you guys!!

It was a really industrial nice looking place. However the service and food were not the GOAT! They were not busy for brunch at 11am Sunday, ordered the Bloody Mary and the condiment weren't even on it I had to ask for them she said they were cooking them. The mimosas came, then the partial accoutrements for the bloody but not anything like what the menu said. Food took forever and was not very good. Bacon was deep fried and just crumbled pieces not strips, brioche French toast was over cooked and made with all the heels of the bread. Brioche toast wasn't even buttered. Was very dissatisfied had to go get our own napkins at wait station, had to wait for her to clear plates. Bring check etc. hash browns were awful.

We met some friends here on a Saturday afternoon (~2pm) and we had good experience. We had the tots as an appetizer which were very good. I had the halfaloaf with Mac and cheese, wife had chicken and Mac and cheese and daughter had burger and fries. All of the food was really good and the Mac and cheese was tremendous. Service was fast and was a really nice atmosphere.

We were here for an event. Drinks were good and well priced but the staff were handing out pizza slices like they were gold. One or two thin 2x2 inch slices at a time. I can still hear my stomach rumbling.

The Goat is an upscale chain of Columbus bars and restaurants and I've been to the downtown location and was excited to try their Hilliard joint. The restaurant is elegant and modern, with tons of comfortable seating and a bar featuring a large selection of beers and cocktails. We went for happy hour and chose a $5 flatbread and some canned beers - unfortunately the happy hour discounts were relatively limited: they offer a discount on only one rotating appetizer per day and a dollar off local canned beers. The flatbread was low on flavor and unremarkable. We also went for the cauliflower buffalo wings, carnitas tacos, loaded tater tots, and boneless wings. The buffalo cauliflower and wings were both excellent, really unique and fresh, and the buttermilk ranch and blue cheese were both top notch. The tater tots were also delicious, and the best part was the tacos: the pork tasted like it had just come out of a smoker. Overall, I was impressed with the quality of the food: everything tasted homemade and it was a step up from the usual bar food. The service was friendly, but a little bit slow; it took a while to place our order and get food cleared. Still, the Goat is an excellent choice for casual fare in and around Columbus.

Very disappointing. It's a great space, but that's where it ends. The quality of the food is subpar. The preparation of the dishes is subpar. We had a wedge salad that looked as if the lettuce was pulled from a dumpster. The lettuce was brown and wilted and unfit for consumption. The fish and meat dishes were over cooked and dry. Not impressed.

Nice casual place to eat. Food is good and has a nice patio . There is a apartment complex around it so the swimming pool is right off the patio . Another area has a fire pit . I had the French toast was very good

This place has some pretty good food and GREAT drinks. The past few times I have been there they have poured their drinks quite strongly and everyone was super friendly. I typically go between their buffalo cauliflower bites and their "jerk" flavored boneless wings. Both taste fantastic. I think the jerk sauce has a good kick and great flavor as well. Their whiskey smash is our favorite drink there, it tastes great and goes down easy. We will definitely be back to this place (we like it a lot). Just heads up though, they are often busy and crowded (we often make reservations when with a larger group).

Unfortunately, we had a bad experience at this location. We were not greeted upon entry, we were left at our table for almost 20 minutes before someone came to take our order, once we ordered it took 45 minutes for our food to be served. At which time NO ONE came to check on us. The chicken could not even be cut with a knife and the vegan Mac and cheese was filled with grease yet dry impossible meat and a horrible odor. I do not like leaving reviews such as this but I emailed them to inform them of our experience and I was very professional and now it has been two weeks and no one has acknowledged the email. This place has great potential but needs a lot of improvements. Starting with communication from the top down.

The staff was friendly. The cauliflower app and the chicken gyro were delicious. I will be coming back the next time I'm in Ohio. There are also plenty of tvs for all the sports lovers.

The Goat was a fun place to watch the game Sunday afternoon. The draft beer selection is limited but I was happy to enjoy Truth and noticed several beer options in cans. I loved the fried pickles with the two dipping sauces. My boneless wings were not overly breaded and the sauce was delicious. My boyfriend enjoyed his burger with sweet potato fries too. Our server was great and overall we enjoyed our visit.

Service is always late and not friendly. They have a great product with poor delivery. Order it, avoid them.

Their avocado lime salad is never a disappointment to me! Ginger margarita is also another staple. Wasn't too crowded in a rainy Friday night!

The atmosphere was nice, but the food was mediocre. Fries came out cold and limp and both of our entrees (chicken sandwich and cauliflower wrap) were meh. We aren't going back.

I really want to like this this place but the service was Not good, the bar was slower than molasses. I think The waitress had an ongoing quarrel with the bar staff and it was a comedy of errors. It got to a point where our group was placing bets on the next screw up. We were literally crying tears when she showed up with the next wrong drink, missing silverware, wrong food, no condiments, etc. It took her 4 different try's to put our group of 4 on 2 different tabs and never did get it right. The food was adequate and atmosphere decent. Front desk was equally screwed up.... told us a 20 minute wait and there were double digit open tables. We walked to the restroom and wee told to sit anywhere we liked there was no wait.

First time here and I was in a group of five. Service here was great. They were able to recommend items (this Nashville Hot Chicken Pizza was incredible). One of the burgers we ordered was a bit overcooked, but they did take some off our bill to compensate. Very mellow atmosphere. Would go back here in a heartbeat.

I have to say I am surprised that I liked this place. My husband and I have talked about going but always choose somewhere else to avoid the young hipsters that we believe frequent The Goat since they are located within apartment complexes. We also feared inferior food. I met a friend for dinner last night; this was her suggestion. I was pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the staff and how spacious it is. There is outdoor seating by the pool, and my friend saw even more dining space when she walked back to the restrooms. We were there during happy hour (it lasts until 7) so were able to get cocktails for $5, and then my wine with dinner was only $4. We each got a salad and enjoyed them very much. She had the Italian Chop, and I had the Avocado Lime with added blackened fish. It was really delicious. It comes with their Chipotle Ranch dressing, and two wedges of pita. I will definitely come back, and on another week night to avoid crowds.

The ambience here is great. The lighting makes it feel really relaxed. The food is great and the service is wonderful. I've had very good experiences. Most of them I can remember lol.
