The food was delivered fresh! It’s my first time trying Golden Monkey Cafe and the food is already knocking the ball out of the park. The proportions are pretty big! It’s worth the price it’s at. The taste of the pad thai and fish sauce reminds me of home cooked food from grandmas house so it’s perfect to my liking. Sorry for the terrible lighting in the pics :// I love how big and stuffed the spring rolls were omg!!! 10/10 rolls for sure, sets the standard for how they’re supposed to be made in restaurants haha. But overall, you can tell that the food was made with love! I’ll be recommending this restaurant to friends and family woot woot!

Best Cambodian food I’ve had here . 10/10 on all the dishes we ordered. The crab Rangoon was the best I’ve ever had in my life . The guy at the counter was friendly and patient with us .

Really enjoyed The Golden Monkey for lunch today. I had the stir fry tofu with rice which was excellent and a very large portion. The staff was pleasant and professional.

Google
Great food! My favorites are the egg rolls and the Mekathang, if you're going, you should definitely give those a try!

Yelp
The soup was amazing, you can actually fill two bellies. Great customer service and family welcome while we were eating a lot of people came by talking to who I believed is the owner of the restaurant. So the ambience is family friendly.

Yelp
We went there for lunch and were thoroughly impressed! The menu variety was perfect, with enough choices to satisfy but not overwhelming like the proverbial Chinese menu. The food was super fresh, not at all greasy and served HOT! The portions were great. I had leftovers. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Golden Monkey Cafe offers some tasty Cambodian food in Lynn. The nam chow (summer rolls) and meekathang (like a pad see ew) are my favorite. Both are very fresh and flavorful; I recommend getting the gravy for the noodles so it's more like a lad na. I don't like a lot of sauce but wish I would have ordered it. I also loved the Cambodian pickled vegetables (similar to atchara), which were great. I didn't love the lemongrass beef or tofu dish; thought both were bland. I wish tofu could be added to the noodle and stir-fries. I hope they do well and excited to return when back home.

Yelp
My friends and I just had to pop in when we found this local Khmer spot. Since it was a soft opening day, they didn't have their skewers as well as other items available yet. We shared some eggs rolls while sipping on a mango and taro slush made at their service window. The egg rolls didn't have a ton of meat but were good for holding us over while we waited. Entrees consisted of the meekathang, ramen, and pork chop with fried rice. I didn't try the meekathang but it did look good. I found my pork chop to be a little bland and could have used some more time to caramelize but the fried rice was decent. My favorite dish was the ramen even though they seemed to have used instant noodles for it. The broth was deliciously seasoned with a few pieces of bok choy. The owner kindly provided us with complementary banana fritters which were an excellent way to end the meal. Nothing like a sweet fried carbohydrate to fill up the stomach. Overall, a good experience that I would like to visit again. I recommend supporting all small establishments especially after the impact of COVID.

Yelp
Quick and friendly service! Love that there's another Cambodian restaurant in the area. The "me ka thung" has an option for gravy (saucy) or dry. This dish is similar to beef chow foon (Chinese dish) or pad see ew (Thai dish). Reasonable prices esp the smoothies/shakes.

Yelp
I went to grab a bite last weekend before the snowstorm of Sunday. It was luckily quiet in the mid afternoon and the small lot was free of other cars. I ordered the Ramen with seafood along with a side order of the fried chicken wings with lemon grass sauce. After the meal, I added a mango boba as well to top it all off. There are several Cambodian restaurants in the area, but overall it is still rare so it is great to have one around when I am seeking traditional Cambodian/Khmer dishes. It's not a large space, cozy enough to seat a few tables and everything is simple with a large wall menu behind the counter or paper menu if you choose. The employees are very courteous and friendly. I suspect it is a family business give and you can just tell they take care of customers unlike a corporate restaurant. The ramen soup came out quick and looked great! Initially, the broth was rather plain but I forgot to add the slice of lime and let the flavors marinate for a bit. You have to treat this ramen like pho and not like the way of Japanese ramen which is a bit saltier by default. Once you add in your lime, chili, and pepper then it tasted great. Perfect for the cold weather nowadays and I love the thin noodles in a pretty decently sized bowl. Since I have a big appetite, chicken wing side dishes are usually my go to. They were very crispy and flavorful if you got the wings with the lemon grass sauce. If they added a bit more sauce then it would be even better or a little sauce plate. Really complemented the ramen well in my opinion. My only disappointment was the mango boba. It felt a little bit watered down compared to other places which then diluted the flavor. Still good nonetheless but not the best I've tasted. They have quite the wide variety of foods on their menu from appetizers to other noodles and rice dishes. Golden Monkey Cafe is definitely on my go to list now for Cambodian food.

Yelp
Came to Lynn back in October to stop by the Walmart because they had the costumes my boys wanted in their size. Decided that I wanted some Khmer style fried bananas and this place had it. It was lunch time and I thought to myself, I never ate Khmer food from a Khmer restaurant so let's just eat lunch here as well. Growing up in a Khmer household, Khmer food to me was basically curry and noodles everything but didn't realize there were other Khmer style dishes. Well, the food was bomb, dude at the register understood most of the Khmer stuff I said, turned out he wasn't even Khmer lol, he was just helping out his buddy, good stuff. Overall, the food was delicious, the one thing I really wanted, fried banana, they weren't making yet, so disappointed lol. Would definitely come back another time. Hoping next time, they'll have fried bananas.

Yelp
Stopped in here for a quick to go snack. I was not disappointed! The chicken wings lemon grass sauce blew me away. So tasty. The spring rolls are fresh and full and soft and ooo so yummy. Filled with rice , rice noodles, veggies , shrimp, and sliced chicken. Mild vinegar sauce with crushed peanuts. Definitely good sized portion for one / maybe two. The meals look great - I can't wait to go back and try another dish. (Literally) mom is out back cooking and her son runs the front. Clean. They have three tables inside and looks like porch seating when the weather is nicer. It's great to have an authentic Cambodian restaurant in the neighborhood. Something new and different. I will definitely be a regular at this spot!

Yelp
Call-in advanced 20/30 min. Open every day 11-8 pm Food: Delicious, fresh, and tasty Service: very friendly and helpful Restaurant: small, only four tables, and clean Parking: yes, in front and on the side If you planning on ordering the flat rice noodles ( chow foon or meekathang) ask for more gravy/ sauce

Yelp
Fantastic and very authentic food - extremely generous portions and the prices are great!! Tonight was the first time trying their food and we definitely will be ordering from here again. Everything we ordered was hot, fresh, delicious and correctly packaged. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Such a great takeout spot for good Cambodian food. The flavors and taste put together a great meal that sits well when done eating. Would definitely recommend stopping by to grab your plate and enjoy. Thank me later!

Yelp
Stop in for the shaved ice, it was really good. My only complaint is less syrup and more condense milk.

Gabriella G.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I have been three times so far the restaurant is super nice and clean and super friendly workers I am pretty sure it's a family run which is even cooler. Support your local businesses

Dena R.

Yelp
Excited to grab Khmer food since I was in the area but it was kind of a disappointment. The mekathang and beef sach chakak had no Cambodian flavors and reminded me more of Chinese chow fun and beef teriyaki sticks. The crab Rangoon rolls were good thankfully.

Yelp
One of the best Cambodian food I've tried!! Highly recommend this place great business during there soft open

Susan M.

Yelp
Food was amazing! Everything looked and smelled so good I wanted to try a few items so I opted for the combo with chicken, pork and beef. Very satisfied with my choice! Portions were generous and ordered some spring rolls to go. Service was great in this owner operated restaurant. Friendly atmosphere with indoor and outdoor dining areas. Stop in here and taste the food for yourself, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
I stopped by and golden monkey is legit. The smoothies are so good, the spring roll is huge and could be a whole meal, the staff is so nice. Have not tried the shaved ice yet but deff will soon.

Yelp
Terrible. Nothing taste like Khmer food. Ate Khmer salad, beef salad, and chicken.. so far I can't even explain why it name chinese and Khmer when there is no similar Khmer ingredients

Yelp
Golden Monkey provided the food for about 22 picky eaters at a week-long solstice gathering for family, and it was the best meal among many delicious meals. On our way home, we made a point of checking the cafe out in person and it did not disappoint at all -- we'll make a regular thing of it at every family celebration. Everything is outstanding, e.g. the banana fritters, the vermicelli with shrimp soup, the pan fried rice noodles (Mekathan), the pad thai, and the tofu stir fry. Historic.

Yelp
A new place that just opened up. Offering delicious, authentic Cambodian cuisine at reasonable prices and awesome drinks and smoothies.

Ashley G.

Yelp
Best little hidden gem in Lynn for sure! Everything is wonderful and the staff is amazing. The food is always delicious and the best way to cool down for this summer heat is defiantly the shaved ice or the smoothies both are equally good! If you haven't tried this place defiantly come give it and chance you will not regret it.

Yelp
Love their coconut smoothie and chicken wings!!! Place is clean abs well kept. Owners are very helpful and friendly. It's a fam favorite, the kids especially love the house rice!

Peterhuy N.

Yelp
I had this for lunch twice for take-out. The food was good, tasted like traditional Cambodian food (and I know what that tastes like). However, I feel like the portion was the price was not justified. I will knock 1 star out for the portion. I will eat from here again.

Yelp
