Yelp
Great location, nice staff, acceptable amenities, good price, but some seriously annoying problems.
The building is ideally located between the Exchange Place and Grove Street PATH stops. The staff is generally friendly and professional. However, the new management that came in in 2014 is terrible - they are unresponsive and ignorant of problems.
The heating system and the lack of proper insulation in the building is simply outrageous. Unless you want to get a heart attack every winter month, factor in several hundred dollars heating bills.
The amenities are OK, but don't expect anything special. A below average gym with no windows and insufficient ventilation, the most outdated W/D's, but at least they are in the units, old, bulky kitchen appliances, etc.
The tenants are typically young professionals or young families, which gives the whole building a nice vibe. There are also lot of dogs, but the building is still clean and nice.
There are a lot of new and much nicer buildings in the neighborhood. Although the Gotham is cheaper, it is a typical case of "you get what you pay for".
