Sensational. Busy busy busy with noisy drinkers but what did I expect for a Saturday summer nights beer garden. Great location but the highlight has to be the brilliant menu and service. Every dish we had was brilliant. Enjoyed our food so much I forgot to take decent photos.

I honestly can't think of a single thing I'd change about this place. The food is flawless - usually places that do small plates are hit and miss, but every single dish here was 10/10. The duck, chicken wings and roasted carrots in particular were incredible. The atmosphere is so lovely - laid back but vibrant, with super friendly staff. Our server Elliott gets a special shout out: really nice guy and fantastic service. We'll be back (a lot) and can't recommend it highly enough. 10/10 across the board.

Really delicious Sunday Roast!! The beef was spot on and the friendly service was great! Lovely venue with cool artwork on the walls. Nice little semi-covered garden area. Dog friendly. Will definitely be back for another roast

Best pub in Bristol. Honestly considered not leaving a review as it’s hard enough to get a table as it is. Amazing team, amazing food and amazing cocktails.

Menu may appear slightly unusual at first glance but always very tasty and great staff. Feb 5th 2022 just popped in for another lunch today and the food is still amazing, thanks to everyone in the kitchen for all their hard work. A lovely venue with a great outside space to boot and Dog friendly. Quality food in a relaxed nice pub atmosphere

Great little restaurant inside a traditional pub. It's a strange setup but works with premium tasty cocktails. Food suitable for Vegans as well as meat eaters. I especially liked the way they worked with allergies marking up the actual menu

We visited Bristol to see some good friends and met at The Grace. It was the perfect place to catch up while sharing excellent food and drinks. The ambiance of this place is wonderful, the cocktails are elegant and superbly done, the sharing food plates were all very gourmet (the duck was exquisite, plus they also have great vegetarian options), and the service is outstanding. If you are visiting Bristol, don't leave without going to The Grace. It was my favorite restaurant/bar of our visit to England. I recommend it 100%.

Google
Fantastic pub, great selection of drinks and a fantastic menu. A comparatively massive selection of gluten free items compared to other places and really friendly and fast service. Would absolutely recommend!

Yelp
Wow! I went to The Grace for lunch with 3 other yelpers, and it was one of the best meals/lunches I've had for a while. If you haven't heard of The Grace, then it is what used to be The Robin Hood on Gloucester Road. It was taken over by the guys that own Zazu's Kitchen and The Greenbank in Easton - so it has extremely good credentials. The place looks and feels very similar to its former days as the Robin Hood, but has been spruced up and feels really nice and welcoming. Personally I'd try and give it a bit more personality, maybe some statement art work or colour on the walls - but it works fine as it is. They have one of best, hidden gardens of any pub/restaurant in Bristol and I will definitely making more use of it during the summer. Right, onto the food - amazing! Seriously, this is some of the best food I've had in a long time. Between the 4 of us we ordered 8 or 9 of the small plate dishes and everyone one of them was a triumph. The menu is seasonal and understated and I found it quite difficult to chose from. the dishes are brought brought to the table looking like something from Masterchef, it's a real treat and got me really excited. Stand out dishes were the Venison and the ham hock with clementines. We also had a Parsnip dish which was just beautiful, I struggle to imagine that anyone has ever made parsnips look or taste better. I'll be back to The Grace really soon and can't wait for their spring menu change (which I'm assuming they will do) This is definitely one of the the best small plate restaurants in Bristol, and I think you'd have to travel far to do much better.

Yelp
Enjoyed a lovely warming glass of mulled wine in here this weekend. Good drink and nice atmosphere - Makes a perfect pit-stop when doing some Gloucester Road Christmas Shopping. Although I didn't eat this visit, the small plates menu on the blackboard looked very promising - a 'tapas style ' menu that had a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern feel. (Think, 'foodie food' in a grown-up bar/restaurant) I have earmarked it as a definite place to come back and visit for food. The restaurant itself has undergone a facelift recently. The decor is lighter and more open these days, while still maintaining the period old features that give this place character and charm, like the fireplace, the dark wooden bar and the gorgeous windows. I was sad to say goodbye the former restaurant in this spot - The Robin Hoods Retreat. However, from my first impression, I can imagine that I will thoroughly enjoy The Grace.

Yelp
We arrived 7.30pm and ordered. At 8.30pm they told us they had lost our order. To be fair to them they said they would give us the meal on the house. Half the meal then arrived at 9pm. When I asked 10 minutes later when we could expect the other half the manager intimated that as we were getting the meal for free we shouldn't complain. 2 minutes later he literally threw the food down in front of me He seemed to think we should be grateful for getting a free meal. What he failed to understand that my wife and I were looking for nice night out together - not a free one! https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g186220-d6948104-r388761943-The_Grace-Bristol_England.html#
