Yelp
I strongly recommend people to stay away from this hotel. Although it is in a fantastic location, the entire hotel is in desperate need of an update. This is not even related to aesthetics, which are old and minimal, but the facilities themselves. Our rooms had the bare minimum of lighting - it was so dark that we had to request additional lamps. The toilet paper holder was missing, and rather than replacing them, housekeeping had simply stacked rolls of toilet paper on top of the toilets. Sheets & towels were threadbare and old, while tissues & toilet paper were of the lowest possible quality. The showers were impossible - it kept alternating between freezing ice cold to scorching hot without any prompting, and even our toilet seat was hopelessly askew. Throughout the day, an extremely loud fan was constantly going except in the early AM hours - there was no way to turn it off. Wifi is only available in the "lounge".
One minorly redeeming factor aside from location is that when alerted to these issues, the front desk did their best to rectify the situation (getting toilet paper holders, adding a lamp, and moving us from our original room that was closet sized and overlooking the loud front pub to a quieter and larger inner room). They did explain that the hotel has been trying to get an update, but until that happens, find another hotel.
