The Grand Hotel

This is a 153 year old property, right on the Mall Road with ample parking space and is reasonably well maintained. We have been staying in this hotel for the last 40 years and have always had a great time. The rooms are big and there are big covered verandahs in the front where they have kept nice cane furniture to sit and enjoy the great views of the lake, hills and mall road. The place is most centrally located and every place that you'd want to go is stones throw distance away. There food isn't any great but all the good restaurants are nearby.

Good Hotel, location, simple. Prices of food items they should reduce looking to simple hotel there charges are like 5 star but if you compare the quality then both are different. Homely food is always cheaper then hotel food. All items should be made like home not Creamy As they claim they are providing home like food then preparation of all items must be like home . Rest good experience

Hotel is located at a very nice location with a perfect view of Nani Lake. Also, close to all the popular spots. Must say staff behavior is outstanding and very helpful. I left a beg in clockroom but they managed to deliver the same next morning in Haldwani where I halted fr a night. Appreciate the help from hotel manager.

Hotel is located at the Mall Road . With spectacular views from balcony on first floor ,this is the most approachable hotel with parking in Nainital . Offcourse for views of lake from rooms they charge hefty amount from your pocket . They have a decent parking right from the Mall Road as parking space is very much limited in Nainital . Hotel is very old and rooms are not that modern and bathrooms is old fashioned . Towels and bed sheets were very much clean . The only USP is view of lake from room and balcony on 1 st floor . Food is not tasty better look for other options in city . However , overall experience for food in city wasn’t up to mark . Cheap quality food for handsome amount was served at every point . Not much impressive. Service was decent. only setback was when you are about to leave the hotel, staffs will approach for tips and it ruins the reputation.

Not Good experience! Room was not clean and with insects, and I even found a big spider above my bed. Washroom was smelly. Staff courtesy is zero Guest Handling zero The only good thing is the location. They seriously need to fix staff attitude.

Rooms were clean and hygiene, the behaviour of staff is also friendly

Beautiful location with a lovely view of the valley. Has a parking so super convenient. Reasonably good service with super tasty ala carte breakfast. They serve chai at the balcony so truly a local experience.||The hotel is on the mall road so could be a bit noisy for some peace lovers but we were fine. If they can improve, they must clean the lounge more thoroughly as it was quite dusty. Overall a great stay for a short visit to Naini.

I mostly stay here whenever I visit Nainital every month mostly. Ancient architecture maintained by ladies is amazing. Must stay here
