We had a wonderful stay at The Grand Napat Hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a nice balcony. The service was excellent — the staff were very friendly and gave us such a warm welcome. The location is quiet but still close to the city, old town, and everything you need. The hotel also has a pool and gym, and their massage service is honestly one of the best in Chiang Mai. When we asked for extra water, they kindly gave it to us for free. Their breakfast buffet was more than good enough, with plenty of tasty options to start the day. Overall, it’s worth every penny — highly recommended!

My partner and I stayed at The Grand Napat for 7 days and absolutely loved it! The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool was the highlight for us - large, clean and perfect for a daily swim. We swum in it every single day! The buffet breakfast was also a nice touch. We didn’t eat it every morning, but the times we did, we really enjoyed it. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, always happy to answer our questions and making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. We genuinely loved everything about our experience here and would 100% stay again in the future. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. 10/10 — thank you to everyone at The Grand Napat!

This review is long overdue as I stayed here for almost a month back in March/April 2025. The Grand Napat Hotel was truly an amazing experience with great customer service throughout my entire stay. The location was very convenient as it was about five minutes away from the main part of town, which was very quiet from the airport/planes/ traffic. If you’re looking for peace and quiet to get good sleep, this is the place. The hotel has a great parking area for your vehicle/motorbike and is surrounded by beautiful trees. I felt very safe at this location. The hotel itself is very clean, well organized and has an amazing staff that’s very helpful, friendly, professional, and very accommodating to ensure you have a great experience. My hotel room/superior room was very spacious, clean, well organized for all of my needs. Kitchen: well equipped with all your basic needs to cook, including pots and pans/utensils/dishes. The stove worked well since I love to cook as I had no issues. The refrigerator was very spacious and had a nice size freezer compartment. I also purchased a blender so I can make my daily smoothies and the power consumption was great. Living area/dining: very comfortable with the nice size couch and table for eating/working on your laptop. I had plenty of space as well to do some yoga/stretches and both TVs in the bedroom and living area worked really well as I was also able to connect my laptop via HDMI. Air conditioner worked really well. Bathroom: very spacious/clean, hot water/pressure worked really well when needed. Bedroom: the queen size bed was overall comfortable, clean linens, spacious bedroom with another TV and air conditioning, poolside view from my window and access to an outside balcony, which was great to get some fresh air and hang some clothes, relax and chill. Because I stayed for a month, I had a great experience, day-to-day interacting with all the staff, security guards outside representatives at the front desk, maids, and one of the managers who were all very friendly, professional, and always good vibes. English language is well spoken for most of the staff. Nearby: there is a 7-Eleven right down the street/walking distance, and other areas for local street food as I think it’s a great location closer to the local spots/markets, Lotus, massage spas and more. Overall, the room was very nice to stay in and comfortable as I felt very comfortable and safe. Whenever I needed something for the room, the staff was very prompt and quickly to respond and accommodate my needs. Again the room/hotel location was very quiet and peaceful so if you’re here for work or you need some quiet time away from the city, this is the place to be that I would definitely recommend. I did see a lot of families as well, kid friendly, as this hotel can accommodate for all needs. Looking forward to coming back in the near future whenever I’m in Chiang Mai. Don’t hesitate and Book your room today… 😃

The Grand Napat hotel was a lovely nights stay for us. The pool amenities were perfect on a hot afternoon. The rooms are a decent size the shower lovely and spacious. Our room overlooked the pool

We only went to the pool. You'll pay 150 Baht per person, you'll get a towel as well, which is nice. There are shaded areas and comfy seats. Everything was great until they decided the grass was too long. I can't blame them but it made it more difficult to read a book.

My partner and I arrived at 4 a.m., and unfortunately, the night receptionist was unfriendly and unhelpful. We had accidentally booked a room with two single beds and asked if we could switch to a double. He immediately told us the hotel was fully booked without even checking, which was frustrating especially since we could still see availability on Booking.com. This left a poor first impression and reflected a lack of customer service. On a positive note, the room was clean and the pool area was enjoyable. However, the breakfast options were quite limited. Overall, there are better hotel options nearby that offer a more welcoming experience.

The hotel is clean and comfortable — overall, a pleasant place to stay. As a guest, I often enjoy spending some time working in the lobby area, which has convenient tables available. However, during my recent stay, I noticed that the hotel appears to have some arrangement with a Korean school or agency. A large group of Korean children were frequently gathered in the lobby on Level 1, creating an extremely noisy environment. They were running around, playing, and causing significant disturbances, making it difficult for other guests to relax or work. Unfortunately, the hotel staff seemed indifferent to the situation. The level of noise was excessive, to the point where it felt like the lobby was reserved only for them. I sincerely hope this was a one-off occurrence and not a regular arrangement, as it could negatively impact the experience of other guests.

My partner and I spent three weeks here (save for an overnight tour of Chiang Rai). The Grand Napat has a warm feeling about it. The staff has always responded to our requests quickly and pleasantly. The facilities are well maintained. I would be very happy to return again one day. The pool and fitness center are well maintained.
