My husband and I stayed at the Grandison for our first night away together without our young son. Because I had never spent the night away from my baby, I wanted to stay close to home, so the Grandison was a good choice. I could get away but still feel like I could be home right away if I needed to.
We got a "Staycation" package which included a steak dinner served by candlelight in our room (there were also options for gift certificates to nearby restaurants) and a gift certificate to a local attraction, like canal rides, Harkins theater, the OKC Museum of Art, etc.
When we first arrived at the Grandison, I was underwhelmed. Our receptionist didn't look very professional, and our room was smaller than I anticipated and looked a little more rundown than I expected (although, I'm learning this seems to often be the case with B&Bs).
However, we had a GREAT time. The room, although small, was quiet and relaxing, and the jacuzzi-for-two was also pretty relaxing! Our candlelit dinner in our room was romantic and delicious, and it was nice to be able to stay in and enjoy ourselves.
The "Staycation" at the Grandison is a good value, and I recommend checking it out for a quick romantic or relaxing getaway.
