One of the best restaurant experiences in Buffalo. We came for brunch, and tried the hummus plate with pickled vegetables and soft boiled eggs, and the special pear Gorgonzola pizza with toasted hazelnuts and radicchio. I also enjoyed a beautiful latte. All were truly amazing. The produce is fresh and locally sourced and perfectly prepared. The attention to detail and presentation is on point. This is some of the most thoughtfully prepared food you could hope to enjoy. We ate with our eyes first, and each bite tasted out of this world. The staff were friendly and attentive. We wouldn’t change a thing!

This place was ok. Maybe it was an off day, but the avacado toast was ordered by two of us, and the garlic spice sauce was too thick and a bit much for the dish. One of our other parties disliked the regular coffee, so another checked and agreed. Our other coffee was good, with a nicely made design. The grilled cheese and tomato soup was good. A huge hit was the heart pastry! That was absolutely amazing. We all loved that! One of Buffalos' originals was captured wonderfully. The decor and environment are nice and modern styled. It gets very busy and fast, so be sure to get there as it opens.

We’ve been wanting to visit The Grange for a long time and a recent graduation celebration gave us the perfect reason. It was obvious that the menu was carefully chosen. From the Small Plates to the Large Plates, each dish we ordered was unique and flavorful. Ingredients that I never would have thought about pairing made each bite memorable. Everything was so delicious! We look forward to returning again soon. The server assistants were friendly and attentive. Our waitress was subpar.

Google
Best restaurant in Hamburg and easily in WNY! Had an amazing dinner at The Grange - the food is delicious, the service is exceptional (they go above and beyond to make the experience superb), and the atmosphere is lively. I loved how the restaurant was decorated- a mix of California/farm to table - and it was comfortable and inviting. I’m still dreaming of the Spring Onion Donuts and the olive oil cake. Loved how they truly incorporate seasonal produce into their dishes and plenty of fresh herbs. The wood fired pizza was delicious - perfectly thin crust that was fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. This is the perfect spot for date night, family dinner, and special occasions. Totally blown away by the experience and hands down the best meal I’ve had in WNY in 30 years.

Google
The service is always top notch, as well as the ingredients in the delicious dishes! Hummus plate is always great with fresh pita; crispy potatoes and the Cesar salad are a staple; pizza is a must! We got the spicy one and it was perfect. Lemon blueberry olive oil cake was the perfect ending!

Google
This is my favorite spot for brunch hands down. I've been 4 times and there is never inconsistency with the quality of the food or service. I have a very sensitive tummy and I never go away with any issues because the ingredients are so fresh. I love being able to see my food cooked in front of me as well. The staff is super attentive and the food comes out quickly. Highly recommend the croissant breakfast sandwich and ricotta toast. The helping are also very generous. The atmosphere is super cute in a farm to table style. Never an issue with parking across the street.

Google
Super cool, trendy place. Super cool trendy staff, you know- the kind that can't be bothered to take your order. I can't speak for the food though, because no one would take my order. Cool atmosphere though. Edit I tried this place again last night at my girlfriend's behest. This time we were greeted warmly at the door and shown to a table. The waitress was very attentive to us and the food was very good. Night and day different experience from ny first one.

Google
We drove an hour and 10m to get there and it was worth it. The server was very helpful and patient with my food intolerance questions, and great in general. The cocktails, as well as the food, were excellent. Even my substitution dish was improvised and still so good. Such a great experience to celebrate our birthdays!

Yelp
This place is my favorite! The food, ambiance and service are always fantastic! If I could give it more stars I would!

Yelp
I really enjoyed the food, and the ambiance of the restaurant. You can sit where ever you choose, you can refill your own water, they have an island area with filtered water, & water glasses. So many beverages to choose from. The server was great, he had the biggest smile ever I loved it! So kind! You order your food when you first come in & you pay for it, & the server brings it to your table. The dinner menu changes all the time, I can't wait to come again to have dinner here,

Yelp
The colors and decor were very nice, kinda farm house. A nice look and feel inside. There's no actual servers, which I did not like. So you have to wait in line to order your food and drinks and they give you a number. Some people got their drinks after others who were in the line behind them. While the food is supposedly farm fresh, you really couldn't tell the difference. And is a bit pricey. Latte 9/10 I got caramel in it, which I didn't taste at all. It was a decent latte though. Croque madame 9/10 Pretty good. Bread was super thick but the middle was perfect, edges were a bit crunchy. The mornay sauce didn't have a ton of flavor, but it was a tiny bit cheesy. You could taste the ham, but couldn't tell it was maple flavored. The egg was cooked well, perfect sunny side up. Crispy potatoes 7/10 Just random sized chunks of potato. They would be better if they were cut a little smaller. They were cooked good, but flavor wise, they were pretty plain, they needed some more flavor of the spices and Parmesan cheese. Garlic aioli was really good flavor, not super garlicy though and a little lemony The double cheeseburger looked so delicious, i would try that next time. The pizzas also looked really good with beautifully cooked wood fired crust.

Yelp
I can't believe we've never eaten here! It's always been on our list to try but never got around to it. I'm so sad we waited so long. My husband made us a reservation for our anniversary. First, I love the ambiance. Slightly dimmed lighting, a full working kitchen out in the open and real tea light candles at every table. Our server was wonderful! We asked for recommendations and started with the hummus special, which was a Baba Ganoush hummus. Slightly spicy and incredible! My husband isn't a hummus guy but he absolutely loved it. He said he wished he could have it at home on the daily! We asked our server for a pizza recommendation and she suggested the Nardello Pepper and Sausage pizza. It did not disappoint! We also ordered the double cheeseburger and split both dishes. The burger was SO good. Not greasy, incredible flavor. The side of crispy potatoes was OUT OF THIS WORLD . Sadly, I didn't get a pic. We can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Food here is amazing! We have been here for brunch a few times on Saturdays and Sundays after yoga upstairs at The Practice Hamburg. The hummus plate is my go to and their lattes are amazing as well. Still need to get here for dinner but would highly recommend their brunch options.

Yelp
Fantastic dining experience. Loved that the place is creative with an open kitchen, yet informal that it works very well as a local/neighborhood joint. The pizzas are clearly popular here, but on our visit we decided to do various small plates instead including the kale salad, crispy shrimp, cheese plate, etc. and the pork ribs. All were wonderful. Had the kitchen counter seating which was a fun way to watch the open kitchen prep. Service was friendly despite the busy evening when we dined. Beer selection was good too.

Yelp
I love the wine selection here. We came in once for dinner and sat near the kitchen area. They were very busy and the area got pretty smokey. We loved everything we had, especially the burgers. We've stopped in for brunch a few times and have never been disappointed, but my favorite thing is to just grab a glass of wine and sit outside and people watch.

Yelp
Super trendy and DELICIOUS spot! They crush breakfast, lots of options and amazing pastry hearts!! You walk in grab a menu and a seat and go up and order and they bring your meal to your table. It's a community kitchen vibe with excellent meals. Dinner is amazing too, the burger is prob my fav! There really isn't much else to say except everything they do is excellent!!! This is definitely a great place to go for any meal... one of our favorites for a special occasion, or anything casual! You won't be disappointed!!

Yelp
Hi!! We have Bailey's..but you can't have it. No you can't put it in coffee and no you can't have it in the rocks. So we have it but you can't have it because it's not in our "Brunch Menu" 0 out of 5 stars
google avatar

Samantha T.

Yelp
Good restaurant. I would prefer a better variety of meal options. The prices are expensive in my opinion. I've never had a bad experience, but I just don't see the hype around it.

Jacqueline L.

Yelp
Food is great Service is good, however people stay there too long, and talk while the line is getting longer to seat. We had 3 tables around us that were there before us, and were still there after we left. It would be courteous to give an hour and have the servers say something. Ambiance very good but the lack of manners with people sitting with an empty coffee cup or glass of water RIDICULOUS.
google avatar

Yelp
Had a reservation at the Chef's Counter for a weeknight dinner. Was quickly seated upon arrival. Staff was friendly. Ambiance was contemporary casual. Definitely get One of Your French Girls if you are interested in a cocktail. It's light and refreshing. Since I was solo dining, I opted for just one of the "Snacks" dish and one "Large Plate." -Daily selection of east coast oysters: Ordered the half a dozen. Oysters were fresh. However, I was extremely disappointed at how the oysters were prepared. All of the oysters muscles was not severed from the bottom shell. So instead of sliding straight into my mouth, I had to use the fork and sever it myself. Two out of the six oysters were not whole; instead of one whole piece, it was in 2 and 3 pieces. Oysters should never be like this. -Wild American scallops: Beautiful presentation. Fresh scallops. The sauce was overpowering though. It overwhelmed the taste of the scallops, which was unfortunate. With such raving reviews from other diners, it's too bad mine was a bit of a letdown.

Yelp
Since The Grange opened, I have wanted to try it out. My boyfriend and I took his aunt here to celebrate a much belated birthday. I made reservations at 4:30 since his aunt likes to eat early. The place is bright and clean and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. One side is the bar, the other side is the chef's viewing area, where you can watch them cook and get a seat at that bar. We opted for the tables in the back. There was also outdoor seating, which was wonderful. Aunt Janis had the rum punch, which was brought in a tiki mug and delighted us all at the table. I had the daughter Judy drink, which had tequila in it. Shocker that I went for the tequila drink, I know. Loved the drinks. I can't remember what Phil ordered, but he enjoyed his drink. It was on special. We started with a bean dish, which was divine. I am really getting into beans lately. Before, it was hard to convince me that beans were good, especially kidney beans. They don't sound appetizing, but they are. We also ordered the crispy potatoes. Aunt Janis ate too many crispy potatoes leading her to only eat one slice of the amazing pizza we had. The crispy potatoes really were the star of the show though. We got the broccoli rabe pizza and the margherita. Both were amazing. I would definitely go back again. I want to try their burger and eat at the area where we can watch the chefs at work.

Yelp
I travel to the area pretty often, but I'm usually in town towards the beginning of the week when this spot is closed, so I've had my eye on it for awhile. I FINALLY had a day in the area later in the week BUT I GOT STUCK AT WORK UNTIL 9PM. I was so disappointed I didn't get to eat in (I could have, but as someone who worked in food in the past, I was not going to walk in 30 min before close haha). I called and ordered to go, it took them about 30 min which is expected for high quality food. I went with a few small plates, but it was PLENTY of food. I probably only needed one or two to be honest, but I wanted to try so many things! I got the beet dip, broccolini, and sweet potato gnocchi- holy cow. I can't decide which one was best, they were all so flavorful and spiced to perfection. Compliments to the chef! I only interacted with the host, but she was so sweet and helpful. The ambiance was moody and dreamy, low lights with a modern feel, perfect for a date night. I loved the bar seating, definitely up my alley for next time. I literally can't wait to be able to eat in, this place is perfect.

Yelp
Phenomenal. Currently listed as my favorite restaurant in Buffalo, N.Y. Stunning vibes, great service, and amazing quality food! I am currently obsessed with her hummus, and my husband can't get enough of their pizza! Please come to Fredonia, N.Y! ‍

Yelp
We had 9 o'clock reservations on a Friday night because that was all we could get. This place is THE place in Hamburg. First cocktails. There are so many awesome options! I got daughter Judy which was spicy and tequila/mezcal forward. I also had the rum punch and it was a lovely sweet tiki drink. I love a good decked out cocktail. We had a LOT of food. And it was all delicious. Tuna Tartar tartin, oysters, pickled veggies, margharita pizza, Brussels sprout pizza, ribs, Branzino..and I think that was it. Honestly, I can't say a bad thing about any of it. I highly recommend this place! Go if you have the chance!
google avatar

Yelp
I am aghast I haven't written an updated review. I've been back many times since my first and each time has been wonderful. This review is from a recent Friday night dinner with some girlfriends. I started with a cocktail and was very surprised to see the tiki mug it arrived in. There was something lit on fire and smoking! Bit of an unnecessary show, but everyone got a good laugh from it! Drink was tasty, but didn't feel like there was much of it in the skinny glass loaded with ice. My friend and I decided to share the hummus and one of the special pizzas of the night. The hummus is hands down my favorite thing on the menu...and I never thought that would be something I would ever order when eating out. The laffa bread it is served with is warm and amazing. The pizza had Brussels sprouts and bacon and was topped with arugula...yum! I also had a pice of my friends squash pizza and I liked it much more than I thought i would! Living around the corner from The Grange is a blessing and a curse!

Yelp
Absolutely Wonderful!! Constant change of gourmet menu items, which is fantastic.....every dish is always delightful! Top notch!

Yelp
Dear God! This place is heaven. It was so, so nice to be served again by the pros. I know how hard covid has been for the service industry and gosh have we had some terrible service as a result (don't worry, we are always nice and still tip 20% or more). But at The Grange you never know there are industry woes. From the host to the guys making our food (we sat at the kitchen bar) to our server, we were blown away, but especially with our server who rocked suggestions, timing, and joy! And I haven't even started in the food!!!!!! The wine list is pretty darn good. The cocktails were as tasty as they were inventive. I crave their kale salad. Yup, a kale salad is worthy of returning. But then there's more. This isnthe best burger we've had in a long time. Cooked to perfection, juicy, and just bad enough for you it keeps you motivated to run the next morning. But the pizza. The pizza is as good or better than Pizzeria Regina in Boston. We've been a few times for pizza and this time it was slightly burned but still one of the best. It's pretty amazing to have this caliber of food here.

Sarah D.

Yelp
Incredible as always! The scallops with the miso mustard vinaigrette were cooked to perfection. We sat at the chef's counter, which was cool to see a little behind the scenes! The food is really unique and that's what makes it SO good. Such a beautiful date night ambiance. 10/10 fun date night spot!
google avatar

Nancy K.

Yelp
It doesn't get any better than the Grange. Amazing food, relaxing outdoor dining, excellent staff and an amazing chef. A farm to table experience not to be missed.

Yelp
Looking for a breakfast sandwich that will blow your mind? Well look no further than The Grange. Every part of the sandwich was exquisite on it's own - buttery biscuit that melted in my mouth, an egg that was cooked to a perfect jelly-like consistency, cheese with the perfect sharpness, and an herb-fresh sausage patty. I deconstructed my sandwich and took bites of each ingredient on it's own. How could something with such simple ingredients taste so good? I can't answer that, I just know that I will be back. My sister-in-law had the Croque Madame. It was the fanciest breakfast "sandwich" she ever had. She brought half of it home, but ended it up eating it right away because it was just THAT good! Oh and they have a great stock of grab-and-go items. I was happy to find a gf pistachio lemon cake that I bought to bring to my mom. It had a tangy cream cheese frosting and nice thin layers of lemon curd. I'm not a big cake fan, but I really enjoyed the bite that I snuck. The pistachios gave it a great salty taste. The Grange has some delightful sweets and treats for sure. Moral of this review ... check them out for brunch. Get there earlier, because there's bound to be a crowd. You just order at the register, get a number, put it on a table/counter of your choice, and then they will bring your order out to you. Easy peasy and oh so delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
Had a really nice time here with an old friend that I haven't seen since pre pandemic! I have never tried oysters before and they convinced me to give it a shot here, and I am SO glad I did. We got 12 of them and oh my goodness, did I enjoy. We put some lemon juice and a scoop of the vinaigrette it came with on each oyster and I wish I had a plate of them in front of me right now. I'm so glad I'm an oyster person now! We also tried the spicy tuna tartare tartine and it was delicious. I don't know that I would've called it spicy though. Regardless I love tuna tartare so I'd definitely order it again. We also shared the carrots small plate and the prosciutto small plate and those were also tasty. I have a prosciutto problem and this one ticked all the boxes - not too chewy and too hard, tasty on top of the buttered bread it came with. Just yum. The place was filled when we sat down so it was a little loud but not crazy. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area!
google avatar

Vicky B.

Yelp
Came here for dinner with my sisters and had a fantastic experience! For an appetizer we split the half dozen order of oysters, which were served with a garlic-oil and horseradish. They were fresh and very tasty. For my entree I chose the pizza daily special, which was absolutely delicious! Large portion too. This would've been enough for two people actually. One of my sisters also got a pizza, the green one, which looked delicious too. To drink, I had a blood orange house soda which was very tasty. Overall great experience, and I hope to come back here soon one day!
google avatar

Anna A.

Yelp
I've been here twice and this place continues to impress me. First off, I'm obsessed with the open kitchen concept. This is so unique and beautiful. And then last night was probably one of the top 5 dinners I've ever had in Buffalo. I had the Daughter Judy cocktail which was amazing. Like a spicy marg but better. For appetizer we had the steak tartare which left me speechless. It was absolutely incredible. The crema filling was a nice added touch. With dinner we had Pinot noir and a Cabernet. We split the pepperoni pizza and the crispy pork ribs. The pizza was crispy and delicious. Crust was fantastic. The crispy pork ribs- please order these if you go. I will be thinking about these all week. They were crispy on the outside but perfectly tender. Spice level was perfect. I couldn't get enough of the corn polenta. Can't recommend this place enough. I should also note to book a reservation in advance! It's a very popular place and not easy to walk in unless you want to sit at the bar. We had an 8:15 reservation which was perfect for a Saturday date night.

M R.

Yelp
Great food! Fresh ingredients and nicely prepared dishes! Recommend their burger or breakfast sandwiches. Excellent
google avatar

Ryli C.

Yelp
All I can say is wow. The food, drinks, and service far exceeded my expectations. This is a restaurant where you expect more quality than quantity, and we received just that. You pay for the highly flavorful, savory dishes and hand crafted cocktails. I can't say enough great things. I wouldn't come here every night because it would take every cent that I own, but this is a great place for a special occasion or a fancier feast. The dishes were exploding with flavor and originality and the cocktails were exotic and high end. Cannot WAIT to come back!
google avatar

Dejon H.

Yelp
This place is fantastic! We sat at the chef counter and had a great meal and never even got to the pizzas which look delicious. I had Italian broccoli with capers, wood fired and bursting with robust flavor... then came the kabob on a bed of hummus... flavor so intense you really have to taste it to believe it! And they used a cinnamon stick as the kabob skewer, so savvy. The cocktails were great and the service was nice and efficient. Definitely returning some time soon.
google avatar

Kristin S.

Yelp
Good service and great food. Ambiance was nice but the restaurant gets very loud, to the point where it was hard to hear the person in front of me.
google avatar

Micah N.

Yelp
We went here for drinks and dinner, and came away more than satisfied. They have a happy hour menu, very good craft beers on tap, and excellent food. We shared the 5 cheese board with a bottle riesling, then finished with the pork ribs and an evening clams special. Excellent food, excellent service. Highly recommended.

Annie G.

Yelp
We sampled several small plates. The hummus is hands down the best I've ever had. And I can't stop thinking about the cauliflower and the carrots!!! Great space and the service is excellent.
google avatar

Genna C.

Yelp
The atmosphere for The Grange is very clean, crisp with bright whites that make you feel transported into a brighter and warmer place rather than the snowy Buffalo night we all are experiencing now. The oysters and tuna tartare were delicious. I had a Short rib dinner special that was just perfect in every way. The banana ice cream desert was the best way to end the night. Even better than the food (if possible) were the cocktails. Absolute best cocktails I have had in Buffalo hands down. I cannot wait to make this my new go--to spot!
google avatar

Brensi M.

Yelp
This is a cut place place for brunch. Went on sunday morning and got seated right away. The double burger was very tasty the burger comes with potatoes, but I was able to change it for sweet potato which was rostered perfectly. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
google avatar

Alex R.

Yelp
Good cocktails, to die for cheeseburger. Dinner menu is pretty small but changed regularly and everything is phenomenal. Great brunch too.

Allen P.

Yelp
Service was fantastic. Food was exciting. You must try this place out! Loved the kitchen is open to the customer, fun to watch the staff work, their magic.
google avatar

A R.

Yelp
Two dinners in a row we had really bad service. Just the young girl server. Water, and everyone else was on point as usual. The person who matters the most was the weakest one. Understanding the job, and that skills are necessary is important. Being nice and smiling is not the most important part. Brand new to the Grange but doesn't excuse the crap service. Really REALLY bad : "lite" pours for my wife's wine glass. She was a bartender so she's aware that it was 1-2oz short. Kinda of a shitty way to mess with regular customers. We're going to give it a break for a while. 2 disappointing dinners in a row is too many.
google avatar

Lisa A.

Yelp
The service was fine, the atmosphere was nice but the food is way overpriced for what you're getting! If you don't mind paying a lot of money the food is decent but nothing special.
google avatar

Giovanni L.

Yelp
Funny thing is I went to this restaurant thinking it was another one since I am not from the area. I'm sure glad I did though. The Grange is an excellent restaurant with its amazing setting and excellent staff. The food is definitely the best in the area. I have spent a lot of weeks in the Hamburg area for work and I can't seem to find a place better than the grange. I ended up getting the sausage pizza and it was of extremely quality. I would have maybe cooked it a little more but besides that it was perfect. The small plates were the perfect amount of food to share with who I was with. Their drink menu is also extensive and full of different brews. I will for sure be coming back over and over again whenever I am in the area.

Emily W.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing meal. Came to Buffalo for work and saw this place posted on a locals Instagram. Great food and the staff went above and beyond to give us a great experience. The general manager and our server were excellent. Will come back here every time I return to Buffalo for work.
google avatar

Aimee O.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place!! Met my friend out for brunch, and was blown away. Brunch is served by ordering at the bar, and they bring it to you. Which I thought was charming. We got a seat outside, over looking the cute village. My breakfast sandwich was phenomenal. Homemade sausage....and the flavors were all there. My chai latte was also delicious!! My friend really enjoyed her meal as well. I want to come back for dinner!
google avatar

Jax Y.

Yelp
The Grange knocks it out of the park every. Single. Time. This place doesn't miss, it's a bit on the pricier side , but you pay for what you get. The cheeseburger is excellent, the breakfast pizza IS TO DIE FOR. I recommend the Bloody Mary's and really any other drink they serve, they are well made, not too boozy but just enough to get you saucy (should you desire). I recommend this place for a date, lunch, or any occasion. One of my favorites.
google avatar

Sara D.

Yelp
The Grange has definitely gone down hill! Called ahead and they still gave away our table. Just horrible.
google avatar

Jason M.

Yelp
Great service and loads of options between small bites and varieties of pizza. We will definitely be trying an entree if we aver get sick of the small plate choices.
google avatar

Leah S.

Yelp
Had some great cocktails and an excellent mushroom pizza at The Grange last night. Also got a pickled veggie plate and some oysters. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Lisa R.

Yelp
Great food. Serving staff is on top of things. Had fried green tomatoes, they were great. Server shared the history of the building, very interesting
google avatar

Lauren M.

Yelp
Great cocktails & environment. Scallop ceviche starter was very good. One star removed bc the bbq root vegetable dinner I had was a little too much turnip for me. At first I thought they were all potatoes but it was about 80% turnip and 20% potato - if that was reversed it would be a 5 star. Service was great, friendly - actually didn't seem like they lost their soul in the pandemic like many other places I have been lately - or maybe they are just treated well or make great tips IDK but it was a nice change.

Gregory M.

Yelp
We went to The Grange for the first time yesterday. We went for breakfast/brunch, but both ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup. It was very good. Nice atmosphere, except for the open doors and windows, which let in bugs and especially bees. Lots of bees. Food was super overpriced but decent. We may or may not be back, but it was decent.

Kevin C.

Yelp
I grew up in Eden, but have been away for many years. Their brunch is as good as anything I've had anywhere, and it's a pleasant treat to find such great quality so close to home. My only critique would be that they are afraid to use salt. I get that you can always add it, but not take it away. But it was almost as of they didn't use any salt, which is a disservice to the otherwise fantastic for the served up.

George B.

Yelp
Food is very good, a little pricey. Awesome seafood dish's. Service is great. Wish they offered more beef entree's. Chef is really talented!!!!!
