Got to this spot by accident after missing the last stop to the park. Getting down to the restaurant is a little formidable at first especially when you see cars coming in your direction in a very tight spot. Keep going because it's worth it. Once you get there, you'll see a stone structure that has Japanese style interior. Front desk is very friendly and directed me to look around. Since the rain was relentless, I decided to have brunch here- $30 for a 5 course meal is not bad. The mushroom truffle soup, duck confit and the creme caramel are utterly delicious, says this woman who was married to a French guy for 20 years. The service is also very lovely. The historical side of the chateau adds quite an intrigue to this refuge of a spot!

Food is really well presented. In a historical building. I recommend the grilled salmon. 3 course meal.

The chateau is very quaint and well kept. A very peaceful surrounding. The restaurant was a total surprise. The food was actually really good and we didn’t expect this. I. Our group we tried all the dishes and all were well made. Very worth the visit.

We visited the restaurant and so were able to go into the exhibition area. The food was not bad, although the beef could have been better if it was not tough. Salmon got sold out quickly, so we ordered pasta with what seemed to be nuggets. The tea (we upgraded) was enjoyable, do try them - we loved the berries version. The cake is average. The bun given was interesting - it was filled with meat and ground vegetables. The soup is not worth mentioning thou.

A lovely, clean and cozy chateau in Yangmingshan National Park! This place was previously Yangmingshan's former presidential residence and it is now a popular place for afternoon tea. It is also a great place for photography. It was nice to visit the chateau and the entire place is furnished with nice quality wooden furniture. The restaurant area is very cozy and visitors can enjoy a lovely meal or afternoon tea here!

Small little boutique restaurant off the beaten path with an amazing view and great food. Stayed for lunch and started with a refreshing salad, soup with toasted bread, and ending with drink and dessert. Highly recommended.
