The Grasshopper

Grasshopper is a toy store with an amazing selection right in the heart of Brussels. From classic Jellycat plushies lining an entire shelf upstairs, to a dedicated display at the stairway corner packed with popular and seasonal limited editions, they’ve got almost everything. Jellycat is everywhere, no need to hunt around! The shop also stocks a great mix of local and regional favorites like the iconic Smurfs from Belgium and Miffy from the Netherlands. Toy lovers of all ages will find something to smile about. As one Jellycat fan said: “I didn’t want to leave!” The plush toys are irresistibly cute, incredibly soft, and truly comforting to hold. It’s no surprise they’re not just a hit with kids, but adults too.

Loved going into this shop on my recent trip to Brussels... So good we went in twice during our stay. Bought a soft toy Marsupilami, who we had seen mentioned in the Comic Museum and other items. So much choice and well worth a browse.

Great store with huge selection and variety, from Baird games, puzzles, toys, electric, mechanic and thinky. Also peripherals, accessories and clothes. The prices are decent.

It is a spectacular toy store, They have some nice collections of toys, and I bought some for my daughter a fox and a lemur. The toys are unique. Love the store.

Total must visit store for all ages! Felt nostalgic with 80's toys.A very humble staff as well.Collection is so unique with toys ranging from scientific to soft toys,stationery,books,play houses and so many other things.A very interesting store.Totally enjoyed in the store😊😊

The staffs at the cashier ignored me and didn’t say hi or goodbye when I purchased the toy, even though they did it with the customer before me. And i was the only customer at the cashier at that time.

Shop has great location right in the center. A lot of toys (especially wooden toys) for kids and variety of board games.

This is probably the nicest toy store I’ve been to. It’s so packed full of a wide variety of toys, there’s something for everyone!

Pretty awesome toy store! I was looking for a European hand crafted wood toy as a gift for my baby boy, and The Grasshopper had a pretty good selection. They had plenty of toys for all ages, and they carried many toys which you could not find at a boutique toy store back home in the States. The staff working there were very courteous. They even hand wrapped my purchase to give it that special touch (which reminded me of 5 Monkeys Toy Store back home).

A very lovely toy store with plenty to choose from and marvel at. The selection of games and toys is exhaustive as well as original. I was only going there to find playing cards, nothing very fancy, but it was really hard to leave without something else. As my past Christmas shopping was not allowing me to exceed the cards budget, I stuck to it, but almost got myself little playing figurines, dice and magnets. And that was only from browsing a tiny corner!

This is by far the greatest toy store I've ever been to! It's like Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium.

You will not find many of these toys elsewhere. It is a beautiful toy store. This is one your mother would love. Worth the visit. I feel compelled to buy something just so places like this can continue to exist.
