The Greek Embassy - Coffee Deli & Gyros

What a disgrace. This is the saddest and worse souvlaki I have ever seen and had. I asked for no onions and I received an empty pita with a tiny slice of a tomato and 3 fries. This is not how it’s done in Greece or Cyprus. The souvlaki was also not cooked enough. They forgot my fries and I had to ask for them. I wanted to have a taste of home during the holidays and this is just sad. i travelled 30 minutes for this disgrace. This is not authentic Greek food.

It doesn’t get more authentic Greek than this. A great variety of dishes and dips/sauces! Also a nice touch that they sell several original greek products, such as Loumidis Cofee and Caprice. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for good Greek food in Amsterdam!

Delicious food in a nice atmosphere! Nice selection of freshly cooked food and premade home style meals. Proces are affordable and the staff is amazing.

Incredible, truly authentic Greek gyros. A great selection of meats and tons of delicious sauces to choose from. I’ve been back multiple times, and everything has been consistently mouthwatering. This has officially become a go-to spot for us. The owner is also incredibly warm and welcoming, which makes the experience even better.

Authentic Greek flavours, cozy spot and the friendliest staff ever!

Really nice Greek deli selling all kinds of products. Everything from artisan goods & all kinds of drinks, to their homemade pastries and pies. I tried their bougatsa which was very nice, together with mountain tea which they of course also sell so you can make it at home. The staff was very friendly and the interior very inviting, The only bad thing I could say is that it might be nicer if they dimmed the lights a little bit. I would recommend checking them out!

Wonderful Greek deli, run by heartwarming people who are passionate about authentic Greek gastronomy. Their bounty of organic spices, olive oils, legumes, nuts and other epicurean staples are a dream for every pantry. Try their generous piece of Galaktoboureko (Greek custard). Super fresh and delish ! All their desserts are homemade, and a smoothly digestible feast ! And there are always warmly cooked, lovingly made Greek meals. Kali Orexi !

probably the worst gyros I have ever eaten in my life. I waited for over 30 minutes, only for the guy to slice the gyros in very big pieces and cook it in the grill instead of letting it normally cook while it rotates. only good gyros place I’ve found in the netherlands is in Haarlem
