The Hobbiton tour ends at this place. The Green Dragon Inn with its thatched roof and wood interiors give vintage vibes. You get a free ale/ginger beer as part of the tour (you can also take the lunch or dinner package but better book those early). You can buy beer and food at the cafe. Note: The Inn is accessible only as part of the Hobbiton tour.

Ah, to put your feet up on a settle and have a half at the Green Dragon. You can do pretty much pall of this here, looking at Pippins Violin, Bilbo's map, and drawing back on a South Farthing Stout or perhaps a Cider made from Farmer Maggot's apples. This is where you have your included half pint of beer (and additional ones if you wish to buy them). Lovely carving and interior.

So much fun, and a great way to end the hobbiton tour. It was everything I thought it would be. Beautiful thatch roof and beautiful woodwork inside the pub. Loved the beer selection and the half pint ceramic glasses they served it in. Great experience from beginning to end. Highly recommend you get your tour tickets in advance. Way in advance. Lots of slots and days sold out.

Fantastic experience in The Green Dragon! Everything looks so authentic, the more you look, the more details you can appreciate! There are plenty of different areas to sit with your drink. You may be required to show your passport if getting an alcoholic drink so make sure you have it just in case! The lunch buffet in the party tent was well-run and delicious!! Incredibly enjoyable.

The Green Dragon Inn was a delightful component of our trip to Hobbiton. I really enjoyed the cider--very refreshing. Other beverages available included an amber ale, stout, and alcohol-free ginger beer (I did not drink those). The ambiance was perfect as well, great attention to detail for the avid Lord of the Rings fan! We did the evening banquet tour, so we had dinner and dessert as well. I wasn't the hugest fan of the "family style" seating arrangement--becomes very dependent on whether you mesh with the strangers your sat with--but the food was phenomenal.

Beautiful and wonderful architecture. I must say, I would spend a day relaxing at this place. With the tour, you are only welcomed here for only 20 minutes. You will get a choice of one drink among the four. There are tables and chairs inside as well as some tables outside. I chose ginger beer which is included in your admission fee.

The Green Dragon Inn, nestled at the end of the Hobbiton Movie Set tour, is more than just a pub; it's a truly immersive experience. Stepping inside feels like walking straight into the movie, with every detail meticulously recreated to match the film's depiction. The cozy atmosphere, the rustic decor, and even the staff's attire all contribute to the feeling that you've been transported to Middle-earth. What makes the experience even better is that a complimentary drink is included with the tour, allowing you to sip on a specially brewed ale, cider, or ginger beer while soaking in the ambiance. It's the perfect way to cap off your Hobbiton adventure, relaxing in the very same inn where Bilbo and the Hobbits enjoyed their own refreshments. The authenticity of the Green Dragon, combined with the free drink, makes it an unforgettable part of the Hobbiton tour.
