The Green Hotel

This characterful place was our favourite during our holiday, an oasis of calm. It was a beautiful room, spacious, clean, tastefully decorated with period furniture, in the main house. Cheaper rooms are available in the annexe, but we thought the main house was well worth it. There was a lovely little cafe with garden courtyard inside, serving good coffees, and the outdoor restaurant was a great place for spending the evening. Needless to say, the food was also good although we didn’t have any of the western dishes, only local. While not in the centre of town, it was a short 10 -15 min tuk-tuk ride to the palace, and also easy walking to get around the local Gokulam neighbourhood. Finally, staff were all courteous and helpful. We were made to feel very welcome and loved being here. Highly recommended.

We have visit to my friend baby shower it's was very good view it's my second time.. Food was very good and awesome.... Service Plate decorations was very different and I really like it.. Service was very good specially thanks full for Manager Allen Sir.....

"Dorothy House"! It looks like a ghost house at first glance! The facility is huge, and they have preserved the heritage well. However, a lack of maintenance is explicitly evident. There was no staff to assist us during check-in or check-out. Dinner was a memorable experience. The food was excellent, and the service was good. The ambiance of the open-air restaurant was superb.

Visited their restaurant and had the POT tea with onion pakoda… Vintage ambiance took us to the maharajas era. One can enjoy the real heritage of Mysore. Probably the only place serving the candle light dinner. One can also enjoy their wide range of beers, Wines , hard alcohol and cocktails.

Excellent place to stay. Very nice old world charm. lot of open place. Beutifully maintained garden and garden eating area. The Greenery is a good fit to the name of the hotel. Quite basic-So if you are looking for jazz and comfort of modern hotels this is not the best. But we loved it. The coffee house and Restaurant has very good food. A lot of locals also seemed to be coming here on a regular basis.

Ambience was lovely and it was very calm. Food options were great and loved the soup and starters! Do visit if you are looking for a fine dine location when in Mysore

However, if you're looking for a blend of both, It will be a disappointing stay and you might want to explore other options. Modern amenities: If you require specific modern amenities, this stay might not meet your needs. Malgudi Cafe: Positive: The cafe seems to be a highlight, offering a cozy atmosphere and good food. If you decide to book this stay, keep in mind: 1. Ask about breakfast options upfront to avoid any surprises. 2. Be prepared for a heritage-focused experience with limited modern amenities.

Great location and a heritage place. Well maintained and would recommend the restaurant and cafe for any meal of your choice. Open air seating in the evening allows for a cosy time with your loved ones. Good crowd on weekdays. If you plan to visit mysore for a day or two, location is ideal for visiting all the spots in mysore.
