The Green House Inn

Absolutely loved it! The owners are so nice and friendly, and the vibe of the place is awesome! Everything is so peaceful and even other residents are friendly. The pool and spa are beautiful as well. The area is very cute and in a hip, artsy area with lots of great food and drinks within walking distance. We had so much fun and having a nice, relaxing place to come back every night really helped seal the deal. If we ever come back to NOLA, we hope to stay again! Truly amazing!

Exactly what we needed! The Greenhouse Inn was the perfect getaway for our New Orleans honeymoon. We stayed in the Royal Poinciana Suite on the third floor, and we had plenty of space to spread out, chill, and admire the gardens and pool below. Frank greeted us and checked us in, which included a full verbal tour of the area, things we can’t miss, and the best ways to get around the city. Whenever we explored the French Quarter or Jackson Square, we couldn’t wait to get back and jump in the pool. The other guests, as well as Charles, were extremely friendly and helpful, and gave the best recommendations for food and entertainment. The complimentary breakfast was perfect with yogurt, muffins, and coffee, and was such a relief to save a little money. A lot of the guests were repeat stays, and we can see why! We can’t wait to stay here again!!

The Green House in is a wonderful little oasis in an amazing city. It's located between the French Quarter and the Upper Garden district on Magazine street, so you're an easy walk to either, but there is a great bar across the street, and a fantastic coffee shop half a block away. The rooms are super comfy, with big beds and soft towels. The service is impeccable, and the pool is the cherry on top. Will be staying here again. Editing since I forgot to mention that they are SUPER dog friendly, which is something our dog Rosco definitely appreciated!

Great hotel in a great location. Really nice pool and hot tub in the backyard. Walking distance to world war 2 museum, art museums, parks and several restaurants. Jesse, the owner, is an amazing host and a very interesting guy (also happens to know a lot of information about New Orleans and makes great restaurant and tour recommendations). The rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet and the beds are comfortable. There is a parking lot right on the property which was very convenient. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting New Orleans.

This is my happy place. The loveliest of old New Orleans homes, the Inn has the most wonderful pool deck and hot tub, cozy bedroom in unique rooms, Fluffy towels and bedding, great vibes. And the tropical flora, bamboo, palm trees, amaze balls!!! Great spot for a group rental, reunion or a quiet couples getaway. I❤️GHI

The Green House Inn is a very beautiful place to stay when you are visiting New Orleans. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms were each very different but very clean. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The dining area was stocked with fresh croissants, hot coffee, a variety of huge muffins, dry cold and hot cereals,yogurts , waffle batter and boiled eggs. Milk and juice were provided as well. The patio area has a pool with running fountains and a jacuzzi. Lovely, lush tropical plants surrounded the entire area , with an occasional hello from the resident parrot and Kipling, the lovable friendly dog.

Stayed an The Green House early November. We had an excellent time! The room was large and the bed comfy. The hot tub was a godsend. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We actually felt like we were a guest in someone's home. The staff was terrific ... very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again when in New Orleans.

We just returned from our 2nd visit to New Orleans and, once again, we fully enjoyed the sights, sounds, and tastes of the city and the superb hospitality of The Green House Inn. Our mission was to find some much needed total relaxation. The staff and management could not have been more accommodating and the Inn provides a wonderful environment for R&R. Continental breakfast items from cereal & fruit to fresh pastries to waffles are available throughout the day along with coffee and multiple juices. The DR table is always set and that room provides the feel of the 170 year old home. The 11 guest rooms are all furnished with a very comfortable king sized bed and there is a max occupancy is 2 with an adults only policy. From our room, we never heard a peep from anyone else and the Inn was fully occupied. The salt water clothing optional pool and hot tub are an oasis of relaxation. The surrounding garden provides the perfect setting that Donna and I fully enjoyed. Guests enjoy the garden and pool in their own level of clothing comfort and the garden provides ample tables, chairs, and lounges to accommodate guests who enjoy meeting others as well as those who prefer to enjoy their private time. In every sense, The Green House Inn lives up to its motto of "Stay. Relax. Just Be." We will be back!
