The Grill at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong

We recently enjoyed Sunday brunch at the Grand Hyatt Poolside Grill. Food quality was excellent, varied, and tastefully presented and the buffet format provides more flexibility than most other 5-star hotel brunches. Restaurant ambience is wonderful with its beautiful poolside location and adds genuine value to the overall experience. Specific mention here to Martin and Daniella who provided polite, attentive, and professional service throughout our brunch and really helped to make it a special memory for us. We would strongly recommend the Poolside Grill Sunday brunch to other travelers and visitors.

Not really bad, food was great, selections were fantastic as well as the taste. One think I would like to ask why they serve a cup of beer in a plastic cup. It was really shocking. Really..? Hyatt? Beer in a PLASTIC CUP? This is absolutely not acceptable. Staffs were hard working. They frequently patrol the area, cleaing tables and collecting finished dishes. Never recommdnd on a hot weather. Of course it is hot and humid outside and there are only a few fans, no air-conditioner.

Great food, great service, great location, superbe pool side venue But boy, the music is very loud. We asked four times the DJ to lower the sound and he would do it, only to increase back after. The only rational explanation is that they don't want client to be comfortable for a restaurant in a Hyatt hotel, with such a price tag (750 HKD with 10% service charge) it's honestly disrespectful to the clients. My guest were all yelling to try to hear each other and the other customers seemed to be the same. Worse part, the DJ is the same for many times. So it's a systematic thing. The guy has been around for the last 4, 5 times and each time I have to ask him to lower the volume. Really a pity but unless they correct it, I will not go there once more.

Weekend rewind with the renowned poolside barbecue or grilled food. The whole journey is now different since they took out lobster in the buffet. I quite like their approach since the price is reduced. A very relaxed and comfortable environment.

Friendly atmosphere and friendly service but unfortunately this time I went the food took More than 40min to be served. Even we ordered coffee and desert after the meal, another 30min. For quick lunch but I was there for good 3 hrs. It’s not the course meal so taking 3hrs waiting is little too much and it was not too many people to take such a long time to serve the food. Staff was kind all though kitchen was slow.

Week day lunch at the pool side under super nice weather. Very relaxed and comfortable environment. I ordered both Caesar salad and tiger prawns linguini. Tiger prawns were yum and fresh!

Daniel in particular made use feel welcome and served us spectacularly. Was a great night, but Daniel really set it off
