The Grill

10/10! From the moment you walk in until you settle the bill, the service is impeccable. The portion sizes are generous and absolutely worth every penny—I can confidently say this is the best steakhouse in Auckland. I’d like to give special mention to our table waiter, Sebastian. He is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and makes you feel right at home—like royalty, even. His attentiveness is unmatched; before you even realize you need something, he’s already provided it at just the right moment. What truly impressed me was how kid-friendly the service was. Sebastian took the time to listen to what my child wanted and was incredibly patient. My picky eater was hesitant at first, but thanks to Sebastian’s approach, he actually tried something new—and liked it! That alone made the experience even more special. The ambiance is stunning, with every seating area being Instagram-worthy. Keep up the great work! I’m looking forward to dining with you again soon.

This place was amazing. The food was fantastic! The eye Fillet you can cut with your fork and it melts in your mouth. The 50-50 Mash 👌🏼delicious! But the Whittakers chocolate cake is next level.

Everything was excellent! The food was amazing everything was hot and delicious. The service was also really good, the worker was really nice to us and the atmosphere was extremely pleasant. Cups were clean, utensils were clean and loved the look of the restaurant. Overall if I could, I would give 6 stars.

Had dinner tonight at The Grill. Nice ambiance, although too dark for my parents. Service was great with Elvira, she was attentive and friendly. We had their angus eye fillet, my first New Zealand meal having steak, was great!! And got a few appetizers. All were great. The market fish, so far so good, not my palate. Overall, worth going

I recently had the opportunity to visit the newly opened Grill restaurant, specifically to try their renowned Study of the Beef menu. Overall, the service met high standards, with the staff providing thorough and informative explanations of the dishes. However, I noted that the quality of the food and the size of the tables could benefit from further consideration and improvement. For patrons who have fond memories of the original 'The Grill' restaurant, there might be a slight sense of letdown in terms of the dining experience. Nonetheless, I still recommend visiting to experience the ambiance and offerings of the newly established venue.

Dined here last night. We had a very attentive waiter who recommended different dishes and sides from the menu .My partner went with the eye fillet steak and I had the kingfish I found the fish lovely but the sauce too rich for me too buttery , my partner also ordered Garlic bread and a side of chips and beans and broccolini all sides were tasty and we enjoyed all these I finished with a affogato and espresso coffee which was ok. The ambience of the restaurant is quite dark and a small lamp is on each table. I found the waiters very friendly and walked away full and satisfied,

Came here with an overseas guest. Loving the al fresco dining perfect for the season. We had sashimi, oyster, beef tartare and cheese souffle to start paired with their 3 signature cocktails and it was divine the quality of the seafood is top notch I wish the sashimi was cut smaller. Mains we got a selection of steak, sides and the fish I personally didn't like the fish the sauce was too thick nonetheless overall it was an amazing experience good food, service and will definitely be back.

Wonderful experience! We booked a late time reservation but everyone was so nice (I forgot to ask about names sry). Recommendations were stunning. You got to try the apple pie and garlic bread. Light was just fine to us, not too dark. Thanks again to everyone there, smiles on their face made you feel comfortable. Really enjoyed the night.
