I hadn’t been to The Grill since their Federal Street days, and the newly refurbished space in the Horizon Hotel is a clear upgrade—brighter, roomier, and much more inviting.
It was my first time trying their SERVED menu, and it delivered exactly what I’d hoped for: high-quality, delicious dishes. We added a croquette and a cheese soufflé; the croquette was fine, but the soufflé was next-level—light, pillowy, and incredibly decadent. An absolute highlight among the dishes. Another standout was the gnocchi with oxtail ragu and green peas. I never thought I’d rave about peas, but they popped with flavor and paired perfectly with the rich, tender oxtail and beautifully textured gnocchi.
Service was equally impressive. Our waitress helped us avoid over-ordering and even suggested the best timing for our add-ons to complement the meal. All evening, the staff were consistently polite and attentive.
Overall, a great dining experience and an easy recommendation for a special occasion.
