The Grizzly Paw Taproom - Brewery Location

We had a fantastic time at Grizzly Paw Taproom in Canmore! It’s a perfect spot for families—very kid-friendly with a warm, welcoming vibe. The pizza was delicious with a perfect crust, and the hummus dip was fresh, flavorful, and a big hit at our table. The food came out quickly, and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The decor is cozy and stylish, with beautiful mountain views that make the whole experience even better. Great food, great service, and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend for families visiting Canmore!

A Hidden Gem with Incredible Views This was an unexpected culinary experience in the best way. When you first walk in, it’s a bit confusing—don’t be fooled into thinking you’re in the wrong place. The main floor is just the entry area with a couple of spots to grab a quick drink. The actual restaurant is upstairs. Just walk around to the elevator and head up—you’ll be glad you did. Once you’re there, the views of the Rockies are absolutely stunning and make the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. Highly recommend pushing past the initial confusion and making your way up. It’s worth it.

It was such an amazing experience at the Grizzly Paw Tap Room. Our server Ashleigh was exceptionally kind and wonderful! She recommended their new seasonal brew (Dark Cherry Sour) and gave us some history about it, and I have no regrets trying that out! I'm not much of a drinker to begin with, but this brew was great!! Our food was exceptional!! Ordered the chicken pot pie, which was beautifully made with a wonderful crust & side salad. As well as the Beef Stroganoff, which packed a punch in flavor! If you are passing through Canmore or visiting for the weekend, I would say you can not miss out on trying this restaurant! I will be back for sure!

We’ve returned to this Brewery several times and always leave with satisfied smiles—the food is consistently delicious! The menu is full of solid, flavorful options that hit the mark every visit. One small change we’ve missed: previously you could order the hikers hummus downstairs, even though the menus are now separate between levels. That creamy, flavorful hummus was our go-to starter downstairs, and we’d love to see it return to the downstairs menu—it was always the highlight. Overall, a great spot with consistently tasty dishes—just hope that beloved hummus makes a comeback soon!

Stopped by when they opened as we were tight on time. Had a beer and an appetizer both were equally delicious. The venue is spectacular, beautiful building, unreal views and great service from our waiter. So happy with the hour we spent here, thank you for your excellent hospitality can't wait to visit again.

Been here many times and always enjoy it but we did the brewery tour today with Martin and it was an amazing time. We got to try 4 different beers and learnt so much about the whole brewery process. Definitely worth it for the price and is a great way to spend an hour.

After visiting dozens of breweries in Ontario, this was the first one in Alberta. Canmore is an amazing little town to begin with, and Grizzly Paw is just a perfect fit. Everything about this Brewery is just about perfect. The beers are all perfect.. different styles but all great in their own way. Loved Everything I tried. The chicken club sandwich is great and compliments the beers very well. Loved the patio and the interior of the Brewery. The selection of merchandise is very impressive and the staff is great and very helpful.

Was a little busy when we checked this place, so we opted to sit downstairs and not wait for the upstairs part. But man, was this place beautiful. We sat down on this cute little table, big enough for me and my fiance. Our waiter was very friendly and tentative. We had the beer paddle and sampled all their delicious beer. We also had the tortilla chips and salsa, the chips are cut up tortilla wraps just to let you know, but went well with our beer. The atmosphere in this place is perfect for some drinks and food. You can even sit outside by the fire, which I think we will do next time. I heard sitting upstairs during the day is also very beautiful, as you get the overlook the mountains 👌🏼 P.s. They sale very nice merchandise here as well. Picked up a sweet sweater 👍🏼
