Had lunch on Monday in the bar. Last time it was excellent, but today was not good. I know they were busy, but making customers queue up every time they want to order something, is a poor deal, especially when the system for serving customers was so chaotic and I had to stand for over ten minutes. The hot smoked trout had seen better days - small, hard and over smoked - the focaccia bread was cold and stale and the duck rillette was tasteless. The arancini were okay, but didn't taste of much. We ordered coffee - again a long queue and after at least 10 minutes, when the bar seemed deserted, I waited and eventually someone came back and said rather harshly that we were next. By then they had forgotten my coffee order preference, so I gave up. Another queue to pay at the bar. I hope eating in the restaurant is less exhausting, but surely three amiable waitresses should be able to cope with everyone's drinks orders, taking the bar food orders and people in the bar paying.
