The Grove

Very friendly and comfort feeling atmosphere. We had some appetizers for a birthday party and they were soo delicious. The fried mushrooms and hot pepper cheese balls were amazing!

I’ve been here a hand full of times and it’s always so much fun whether it’s with my friends or family or both, but tonight Krista’s service and hospitality has pushed me to write this- if you want a chill atmosphere, darts whenever you want and good food come here!!! Xoxoxo

Very nice simple little "shot and a beer" Irish pub. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices were good. Parking was plentiful. This would be a good place to meet up with a group of friends - plenty of space. The cheesesteak was excellent.

This place is great. EXCELLENT wings, solid beer selection, very reasonable prices. Seriously. My wife and I don't get to go out much, but when we can, we pick the Grove. Nowhere else will you get to experience how awesome Pittsburgh is at such a reasonable cost. The people that work there are fast, fun, and really make you feel at home. The guy making the wings is really on point!

As soon as I walked in, a woman approached me and tried to start trouble with me and I left her alone and kept walking away... Then she came over and randomly attacked my sister and my sister beat her up but she did not get barred because the bartender said she's "connected" somehow with the owner of the bar, so the woman who started the fight got to stay... A horrible atmosphere to be in if you want to have fun and peace... The bartenders have no say-so in who is allowed to stay and who goes because of the owner who isn't even present. Terrible place to be for fun.

This place is the definition of Pittsburgh. Good bar food, friendly people, and very reasonable prices. This is my go to spot for a relaxed night out. The wings are always good and the service is the best. I almost don't want to leave a good review in case it becomes too popular. Don't be an asshat and you'll have a good time here.

Cheap beer, lots of characters and friendly folks. Great typical local bar. Didn’t eat but they had a good menu. We only had time for one drink but would definitely come again.

Come down for my lunch and got a steak hoagie, was surprised that there was a good crowd out there during that time but the lady behind the bar was nice and served me good. Looks like they got a new menu and I tried the steak hoagie and it was stacked up ! I would definitely get it again

Be careful you'll get your tires slashed for no reason if nobody knows you. It was uncalled for asked if they could look at the camera footage they never called back I'm guessing they knew who ever did it.

Food is improving and prices are more reasonable. Love the 1/2 steak hoagie for $8 but still miss taco Tuesdays and Kevin, the previous cook..

Waitress was great she waited on the bar and dining room glass was never empty food was very good. Just don't sit next to the speakers in the dining room

Thought we would try it out. It was practically empty but felt quite unwelcoming in a Trump-y way. Also felt grimy. Yech!

I have been here twice now since my initial check in, and I have to say, I am impressed. This is a great hidden little gem. I honestly mean that, this place is off the beaten path. Just to let you know, if you come here for a dining experience you are going to have a limited menu to choose from. This place, after all, is a bar. So you are going to get bar food. They offer mostly items that you have to use your hands to eat. So silverware optional. Each time that I have come here I have gotten the burger. You know how you go to a friend's house for a cookout? That's the type of burger you get here. Fresh made patty, not frozen. Cooked to your liking and topped how you like, any combination, and always prepared correctly. Juicy and flavored just right. All toppings were amazing and fresh as well. Burgers come with a side of fresh cut fries that are lightly coated in salt. Some may say that it takes a while to get your food here, but just know that this food is made fresh. Kitchen is only open until 7:00 p.m. Now, about that bar experience. This place is your ultimate neighborhood dive bar. I mean that lovingly. It's got the old rickety metal doors, the dim lighting and televisions on blast. This place will be packed when it comes to a sporting event. And after the game is over, people linger about. The bar itself is a full circle. You can sit anywhere you like around it, but just know that you will probably be sitting by a regular. This place has many regulars, and they are delightfully fun to be around. The bar itself has a rundown feel to it, but in the way that it gives it charm. Drafts are a really reasonable priced drink to get here. For our meal of two burgers and four drafts, it came to $20. Smoking is outside only. Large parking area behind the building if you can't get one out front. ATM located inside. Dining area to the left of the bar if you don't want to sit at the bar. Several televisions. Staff are polite. There, I think those ramblings have me covered for anything I didn't touch on prior.

Great prices, food is always on point, and friendly staff. Friday karaoke is so fun and DJ nights are great as well!

Nice little family owned neighborhood place. There's no smoking, and the service is pretty decent. It's tucked back into the cut and when you walk in, you aren't bombarded by the acrid stench of cigarettes. The karaoke DJ is a local guy with a huge song selection, and the place is clean. A couple local guys sit in the corner of the bar, and it feels like that's where they sit every night. It's not cold either, they keep it comfortable and clean. There's ample parking and the prices are reasonable. We'll be back real soon!!!

Best gourmet grilled cheese sandwich ever, I highly recommend putting pickles and tomatoes on it.
