The Guava Limb Restaurant & Café

We had such an amazing experience at The Guava Limb on Valentine’s Day! We visited for both lunch and dinner, and even though it was clearly a very busy day, the service was outstanding from start to finish. Lunch was bustling, but the team handled everything seamlessly. The service was attentive, efficient, and genuinely warm despite the Valentine rush. What truly stood out, though, was how they went above and beyond to accommodate us for dinner as well. On one of the busiest days of the year, they still made the extra effort to ensure we were taken care of and had a wonderful experience. It’s rare to find a place that maintains such excellent service and hospitality throughout an entire busy day. We truly appreciated the extra care and attention! Thank you for making our Valentine’s Day so special. We’ll definitely be back!

We loved this restaurant and think it’s a real standout in San Ignacio. The menu is wide-ranging, featuring Thai, Vietnamese, American, and local Guatemalan dishes, so there’s plenty of choice for different tastes. Everything we ordered was excellent, and the service was warm, attentive, and consistent throughout our visit. The sriracha coconut shrimp was a clear favorite, bold, well balanced, and cooked just right. We began with the nachos, which were solid and generously portioned, though they would have been even better served a bit hotter. The salads were massive and crisp, easily shareable. The bang bang noodles were another hit. Be sure to leave room for dessert because they are excellent. The key lime pie cup, Baileys cheesecake, and flourless chocolate cake were all great and reason enough to stop by on their own.

This place was so good, we came here three nights in a row. Had the crispy shrimp wontons, red Thai curry, the grilled chicken panini, the Gado Gado, and their pizza, along with strawberry blended margaritas and their evening two for one drink specials, and their blueberry cheesecake. The food is ridiculously good!!! Everything we tried, we loved, and savored every bite. A must try when in San Ignacio, it will not disappoint!

We came here for dinner to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday. We were seated right away, and the restaurant itself is cute, spacious, and inviting. The employees were all very kind. They did miss the note about her birthday. There was a “Happy Birthday” setup on a table, for someone else, and no special touches for her, which was a little disappointing. Our waiter, though, gave fantastic recommendations. We started with the shrimp wontons, which were incredible. I think there were four pieces for each of us, and they were delicious. We split the coconut shrimp and the Gado Gado, an Indonesian dish. Both were great, but the Gado Gado was definitely the standout. They also called us a taxi after dinner, which we appreciated. The staff stayed friendly and attentive the whole night. They had a 2-for-1 coconut mojito special, and we both enjoyed those as well. Overall, the food is phenomenal, the staff is warm, and it’s absolutely worth a visit. I definitely recommend coming here.

Absolutely amazing !! This gem exceeded all our expectations! We went back two times in four days because the food and service were simply exceptional. The staff was so welcoming, and the fresh ingredients made every dish a delight. The pizza was incredible, rivaling the best we had in Italy. The interior is stunning too! Highly recommend! We heard the owners are absolutely fantastic from a local. If you were in the area do yourself a favour and try it out

I wanted to check out this highly rated, buzzy restaurant during my stay in San Ignacio. The restaurant did not disappoint with its romantic interior that naturally blends the indoors to the outdoors. The food was solid, though not as incredible as I had expected given all the rave reviews. I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and everything was well prepared though nothing stood out. The service was warm and attentive. Prices were on the high end for Belize, but not unreasonable.

Our favorite place to eat in San Ignacio. We ate here 7 years ago, where I had the best pork chop of my life. Found ourselves back in SI and this place didn’t disappoint. Amazing drinks, awesome food, not to be missed. Service tonight was slow.. felt forgotten about a few times.. but we were in no rush.

wood fired pizza was decent but the bottom of crust was soggy. should havd let it rest on a wire rack before cutting and boxing. red velvet cake tasted like a prepackaged cake mix. good service and beautiful resteraunt. snickers cheese cake was a better option.
