Ended up going to this place as we wanted a restaurant that serves both Spring Rolls and Gobi Manchurian, to satisfy all the cravings of our party. It wasn’t crowded for a Thursday dinner. Needless to say, we ordered their Spring Rolls and Gobi Manchurian.
Spring Rolls were crispy on the outside but the inside was indiscernible, no distinguishable veggies, just one paste/goo, probably potato. This is a 2/5.
Gobi Manchurian was a 3/5. The Gobi was crispy on the outside, just how it should be, but the sauce was a huge let down. It was very very ketchup-y.
We also ordered Veg Chowmein which was alright, but definitely not worth $16. No veggies of note, nothing expensive like broccoli or snap peas or anything. 3/5 for the taste, 2/5 for the price.
The only dish of note was the Nepalese Veg Thukpa which is soupy noodles, like Ramen. The soup was tasty although the turmeric in it was a bit overpowering. The noodles was the same as the one in chowmein. Good quantity. 4/5.
Didn’t try the momos.
In summary, I think Everest Cuisine is a better option for taste and definitely on the price, and the number of options. Or, there’s always Inchin’s Bamboo garden or Red Hot Chilli Pepper. Similarly priced but better taste and overall experience.
