My wife and I loved staying at the Halcyon Apartments. They are ideally located in the heart of Bath, a short 12-minute walk from the station. The service was extremely courteous, the manager has been very helpful in answering all our questions and letting us check in early (we arrived at 11 in the morning). The apartments are luxurious, with everything one could wish for - comfortable beds, a nice bathroom, tea and coffee, and a magnificent view of the city. We would definitely come back here again.

We stayed from the 16-17th December in Apartment 8 and had the most wonderful time. The Apartment was beautifully furnished and very clean. It was also sound proofed, despite being next to a busy road I couldn’t hear a thing. The bed was very luxurious I had such a great nights sleep. This elevated our visit to Bath and it was all thanks to the customer service and hospitality from Paul. Due to either a glitch or user error, our stay was booked accidentally for the 15-16th but Paul offered us another apartment free of charge which was wonderfully kind of him.||||Thanks to the Halcyon and Paul for an amazing stay, we hope to return soon.

Just returned from a 3 night break in Bath staying at the Halcyon Apartments in George Street. The apartment (number 3) was wonderful - very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Even though the sitting room looked out on a very busy street we heard virtually no traffic noise. The bedroom at the rear was even quieter. ||||The location was great - only minutes from all the major places of interest - and we were spoiled for choice in the many restaurants and bars in the vicinity. We can particularly recommend Martini's restaurant across the road and the Boston Tea Party round the corner for breakfast/brunch. We also had amazing cocktails in the Circo bar in the basement of the building. ||||Paul, the general manager, was very helpful both before our stay and on arrival.||||To sum up we have no hesitation in recommending the Halcyon Apartments.

I booked for 2 nights 27th & 28th of December for myself and partner. We were allocated apartment 1 earlier that the normal 3pm which was great. First impressions were awesome, stunning apartment furnished beautifully. We then headed out shopping for the afternoon. ||Netflix in the room was a good touch, we used Deliveroo for some Thai food and settled down a movie early evening. This is where it all goes down hill.....the music from the circa bar was thumping directly below our room from 8pm to 1.30am. You could hear the words from the song it wasn’t just background noise. After an hour of it I messaged the Manager Paul on what’s app who responded pretty quickly and said he had spoken to the bar and asked them to turn it down and that we shouldn’t hear it in our bedroom he also added that I should feel free to go and speak with bar manager and If did I have any trouble to let him know.....! ||Yes sure ok Paul il just pop down in my pj’s & get into a blazing row shall I? Wasn’t impressed with that reply. ||I’ve requested a full refund and we are checking out as I type this on the Saturday we can’t have another night like last night. ||Apartment 1 is complete no go for the sole reason of the noise from below ( not street noise ) it’s unfair to not tell potential guests of the bar below. ||I suggest Paul or Giles stay a night in Apartment 1 on a Friday night to experience it for themselves.

This was our second visit to Halcyon Apartments on george street, after finding our last stay so luxurious and comfortable. We stayed in apartment 5 this time, and really enjoyed the huge windows surrounding the living room/ kitchen with a lovely view over bath. Once again the apartment was furnished with everything you could wish for. It was warm and inviting and the interior design is fresh and suits the grandeur of the building perfectly. The halcyon apartments really are now a solid favourite of mine whenever we want to stay in Bath.

We were so surprised to have found this amazing gem of a place to stay. It is more like a boutique bed and breakfast (minus having to get up for the breakfast because they just give you a basket of food that is well stocked and replenished each day so you can eat whenever you feel like it - loved that!). There were a lot of nice details put into refurbishing the rooms so that there was no mold smell at all, despite being over 300 years old! The furnishing and decor were wonderful with an incredibly comfortable bed. I can't say enough about the hospitality and helpfulness of the staff, Marie was awesome! They do little things like welcoming you in advance of your stay to make you feel invited and thought of, and there are real people to respond to you when you write back. They respond immediately with a lot of help with any questions you ever have. AND it is in a great part of Bath, really easy walking distance to everything! When I 'googled' the street, it looked a little funky and maybe not very nice, but it was not that way at all, it's a great street! This has been the best place we've stayed thus far in England with a great price for what you get. I can't recommend it enough!

What a fantastic place we chose to stay in for our first visit to beautiful Bath.||The apartments are well appointed and everything had been though of to make our stay comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable.||From the moment we arrived (too early) the Manager, Paul couldn't have done more for us. He made sure our room was ready as quickly as possible so we could have a rest after our journey. He was thoughtful, kind, helpful and efficient and he was on call whenever we needed to ask him something. Thank you for everything.||||...we will definitely be back again.

Amazing amazing and a very beautiful place to stay. Spotless and equipped with everything you need. The breakfast box is a lovely touch and I have to say the coffee is just the best. The accommodation is so central to the shops and a short walk to places ie the royal crescent. Bars and restaurants right on your doorstep. Would definitely stay again and already recommended to family and friends
